contacted me about drawing the item, and I didn't know Hope very well (but had seen her pets around!), so I had a read through her blog and wished I had known her. I find it wonderful that the internet has given her a voice, words left behind that we can read. She was great at writing and was very inspirational in general.

This is so sad. I never talked with her, but I read her blog occasionally. She was a wonderful, inspirational person. The world has lost something really great. I hope she is resting comfortably now.

I am not here at Subeta much, but chanced to come in today to find Rah's ping on my list...I am saddened to say I did not know Hope, but reading her blog today and discovering what I have missed by not being her acquaintance makes this devastating loss that much more tragic. :( Dear Hope, how amazing you are...(I won't say were...it doesn't seem right)...you obviously lived life in a way to outshine any star in the sky, and now you stand amongst them. Farewell and thank you for reminding me today how precious life really is. My profound sympathies to those who knew and loved her and are missing her today. :(

I didn't know this girl but upon seeing the tribute item and finding this board, I just went and read her Biography and all I can say is...Bravo. Bravo to her for being so strong and not hating the world just because she could. What an inspiration...to be able to have such a positive outlook on life despite the horrific hand that fate threw her.

And Bravo also to her parents, for so obviously going to the ends of the Earth to try everything possible to save her. I will never understand why such awful things happen to such obviously amazing people :(

I pray that she has found peace and a wonderful, pain-free existence...wherever she is. I personally think after reading her blog that she was just too good for this world.
