I never talked to her, but I read the story of the process of discovering her disease on her blog and well... it touched me... :(

Thank you so very much for this beautiful tribute to dear Hope. I wish I was better able to express my gratitude, and tell you just how perfect that item is, but gosh this is just so hard I can't even get this out. But thank you.

Sadly I never got to know Hope but reading this thread made me cry that you guys would do such a lovely tribute. I just read some of her blog, what an amazing person. The world definately needs more people like her.
