Okay, I was bored so I created a pokemon thread that is a little bit different! In this thread, unlike most, you actually roleplay the pokemon as opposed to the trainer.

PLOT: Harmonia Forest in the Tepso region is not the lush, bountiful paradise it once was.The evil Team Nebula have entered and are capturing pokemon for their own purposes. They have surrounded the area with specially made pokeballs called 'spike balls'. They are all around the perimeter of Harmonia Forest, so the pokemon cannot escape, but they have also set traps with these motion-activated pokeballs throughout the forest. Now, the pokemon must band together to save themselves and maybe, just maybe, the whole world from Team Nebula.

RULES:

-No God-modding or bunnying -Please don't leave the roleplay without telling me -Some swearing is okay, but try to keep it on the low side -Romance/Violence is okay, but please keept it PG-13 -Yes, your character(s) may evolve throughout the course of the plot -Please don't use ultimate movesets or stats in your characters -Please don't use a pokemon someone else has used. It's okay if someone is a charizard while someone else is a charmander, though. I will post all taken species on the front page.

Personality: Very compassionate and empathetic. However, if you get on her bad side she can be fiery and bad tempered. Other: Her parents were both captured in spike balls in the early days of the Nebula invasion. She is trying to free them through resisting Team Nebula.

Species: Weavile Nickname: Frostbite Gender: Male Moves: Swords Dance, Night Slash, Brick Break, Ice Punch. Looks: The same as most Weavile. Personality: Tough, sneaky, and very competitive. Other: He and Kendo work together in a sort of vigilante, mercenary, muscle-for-hire line of work. The two Pokemon are both very strong physically, and have good type coverage based on all of their move types. When the Team Nebula affair cropped up and the two of them were unlucky enough to be in the forest at the time, Frostbite immediately decided that if they looked around, surely there'd be some rebellious Pokemon in need of their...services.

Species: Gallade Nickname: Kendo Gender: Male Moves: Brick Break, Psycho Cut, Rock Slide, Hypnosis. Looks: The same as most Gallade. Personality: Chivalrous, protective, always up for a challenge. Other: He's very kind, and tends to fall for good-looking female Pokemon quite often (especially Gardevoir.) Although he's in the mercenary business, he's much more honorable and trustworthy than Frostbite.

Name: Flyte(Likes to go by Trick) Gender: Female Species: Pidgeot Moves: Air Slash, roost, feather dance, and wing attack Looks: Normal Personality: Flyte is a cunning, sly, devious creature. She likes to play jokes on others, make people believe in ghosts, and sometimes even plays the ghosts themselves by rolling in light dirt. Trusts very few pokemon and in return very few pokemon trust her, the only one who does is her friend the Luxio. Though quick and sly, she becomes clumsy and rather heavy when around other Pidgeots, so she prefers to keep away from them. Other: Wears a black silk scarf around her neck.

A leafeon darting among the trees, a glaceon by her side... Aurora watched her mother and father get farther and farther away. Stop! she wanted to shout. It's a trap! Come back! But she couldn't open her mouth. She tried to run towards them, but her legs felt as heavy as lead. The leafeon looked up in surprise as she ran into the beam of a spike ball, and opened her mouth in a silent scream as she was yanked into the pain-inducing pokeball. The glaceon turned to her and tried to pull her out, to save her, but it was too late. Another spike ball pulled him in, and he strained silently against it as he suffered the same fate as Aurora's mother had. It was too late, everything, gone, her parents, they were gone too. Everything was lost...

Aurora woke up in a cold sweat from the dream for the millionth time. It had been horrible enough to endure the first time, why was she suffering the horrific scene again and again? It was too cruel. The little eevee got up, shook some leaves out of her fur, and looked around. No spike ball traps. No Team Nebula. No other pokemon, either. She sighed and relaxed. She was okay.

She trotted over to a berry bush, checking carefully to make sure there were no hidden traps. None. Good. She grabbed a pecha berry and swallowed it, savoring the sweet taste of the berry. Then she whipped around at a rustling in the bushes.

(( Whoever wants to be introduced next, go ahead. They can be the bush-rustler O: By the way, I'm only putting up the pokemon as taken if you've posted your bio. ))

Aurora looked at the face that had emerged from the bushes and immediately tensed, showing her teeth, while her tail glowed silver as if she was about to attack. The pokemon appeared to be a somewhat insane-looking furret wearing the remains of a purple collar and an earring. She dashed towards the other pokemon and slammed into him, pinning him to the ground.

"Who are you and what do you want?" she hissed menacingly into his ear. She hated, hated, hated to have to attack other pokemon if they showed their faces, but she had no choice. He could be from Team Nebula, and that was one place she did NOT want to go.

Aurora rolled her eyes, fighting the urge to giggle. The other pokemon was clearly insane, raving about space invaders, world domination and brain eating. She let a small laugh escape, then caught up with him. It wasn't hard, considering that he kept bumping into trees and tripping over himself.

"Relax, I'm not going to hurt you. And no, I am not going to suck out your brians and use you as a zombified slave in a plot for world domination. Take deep breaths. In, out. In, out."

Aurora's ears pricked as she heard voices off to one side. She stalked silently through the forest and looked at the people who the voices belonged to. An absol and a persian, apparently. It was times like these she wished she were a bit stronger. Oh well. She stepped into the small clearing, growling.

"Who are you and what do you want? Do you have anything at all to do with Team Nebula? Tell me NOW." There was a threat in the way she said it. Her tail lit up silver, preparing for an attack at short notice.

Aurora relaxed immediately. "Can't be too careful. Watch out for the traps; they're everywhere." The absol was okay, but she wasn't sure about the persian.

"There's a crazy furret somewhere around here. Know of him? He had himself convinced I was going to eat his brains and turn him into a zombified slave. He's okay, though. Once you get past the insanity."

(( I need a good way for her to evolve. Ideas? ))

ooc: Oh, this looks fun! I'd like to join.

Name: Ruki Species: Umbreon Gender: Female Moves: Dark Pulse, Crunch, Moonlight, Attract(This'll be fun >=D) Looks: Shiny, but retained the red eyes. Personality: She can be rather cynical and sarcastic, and tends to travel alone, but she will protect anyone she cares about with all of her power. She knows the move Attract, but is NOT a flirt. Other: She was caught by a Team Nebula member after accidentally stumbling onto a prototype Spike Ball, and they performed many experiments on her. Thankfully, the only lasting effect they had on her was to turn her eyes from yellow to red, but they were rather painful all the same. She escaped eventually, but not before overhearing Nebula's plans for the forest and, wanting revenge, began to spy on them. However, they started the plan more quickly then she expected, so she was unable to warn the Pokemon of the forest in time. She hasn't told anyone else her story, and all they know is that she is a spy for the Pokemon, somewhat well known by the older Pokemon throughout the forest. That's all most need to hear anyway.

Is this alright?
