bic: Ruki crouched in the shadows of the building, her sensitive ears pricked as she listened for danger. Cautiously, the Umbreon crept toward the door as the uniformed men and women of Team Nebula marched outside of the base. She only had one shot at this...

She shot inside, her paws barely making a whisper, as the the last man exited, and before the guard could shut the door. She turned into a dark corner where their cameras couldn't pick her up, and glanced around. No shouts. No alarms. She hadn't been spotted.

Good, thought Ruki, as she let out the breath she had been holding. Arceus knows how bad it would be if I were to be captured...

She darted down the hall, avoiding the cameras (oh, how she would have loved to smash them instead), and stalked into the room where all of Nebula's new intel was located. Silly of them, to keep all of their precious plans in one room, and not even booby trap the place!

She meandered over to a table and leaped up, landing neatly, before looking over the sheet of paper. Nothing caught her interest, just the usual forest sweeps that happened once a week (where a few Nebula grunts would look through the forest for any Pokemon that happened to be out and about; the forest Pokemon were prepared for and used to these by now), so she jumped down to the floor, retraced her steps to the door, and slipped out in much the same way as she came in.

Better warn everyone about the sweep happening tomorrow, Ruki told herself as she made her way through the bushes. She suddenly froze and crouched instinctively as she heard voices, but then relaxed as she recognized two of them. Padding out into the open, she called out to the Absol and Persian, "Phobos, Deimos! I have the information."

Name: Don Krow Gender: Male Species: Honchkrow Moves: Drill Peck, Night Slash, Dark Pulse, Pursuit Looks: Your average Honchkrow, although he likes to swear "Shinies" at times - that is, jewellery. Personality: Very suspicious, bossy and full of himself. He is extrmely greedy with a very short, sharp temper that can flare at any moment if you don't do as he tells you. He has a very crafty and cruel mind and can be vicious when he wants, but there is a softer side to him... y'know, somewhere. Other: Don Krow is the leader of The Mob - a nerfarious group of theives and swindlers which live in the woods - if they want something, they'll get it, no matter the cost or who gets hurt. The Mob rule over a small area of the forest, which has been heavily deforested and polluted by Team Nebula who run a factory nearby. He inherited the title of Don Krow from his father. A rumour circulated around the Pokemon of the forest that he killed his own father to get the title, but it hasn't been proven. In any case, he is widely feared, and no-one wants to get on his bad side, otherwise, they could be next on his hit list.

Name: Violet Gender: Female Species: Stunky Moves: Smog, Night Slash, Toxic, Fury Swipes Looks: A normal Stunky, wearing a pink bow around her neck. Personality: Spoilt, but adventurous and lively and unusually brave. She loves the finer things in life, and although she comes off as a brat, she can actually be pretty friendly - although her awful stench would tend to put you off. Other: Violet is the adopted daughter of Don Krow - he took her under his wing, quite literally, when he found the baby Stunky after a raid on two Skuntank, who had made a run for it. He treasures her deeply and gives her all that she desires, but he is highly overprotective of her. For this reason, Violet likes to go out on her own at times. If Don Krow ever dies, Violet shall take the Don title and become leader of The Mob.

Ruki rolled her eyes, choosing not to reply to Deimos. She then turned her attention to Phobos.

"Nothing special," the Umbreon replied, shrugging. "There's going to be a sweep tomorrow, though, and I'll need help warning everyone on such short notice. Tell everyone you know, and ask them for help," she added, raising her voice slightly to include Deimos in the conversation. "It shouldn't be a problem."

She suddenly sensed another presence, one that she hadn't noticed before. Whirling, she turned to face an Eevee sitting in the clearing a little ways away. She sized up the small Pokemon quickly, and began to stalk towards the Eevee.

"And just who are you?" she growled threateningly. Sure, it might just be an Eevee, but you didn't survive in this forest by trusting strangers or underestimating others. After all, this Eevee had overheard their plans. Did she figure out that Ruki was a spy? Was she a friend? Or was she one of Nebula's Pokemon, and were they all in even more trouble?

Two strong wings beat noiselessly and rhythmically, creating a repeated rhythm, as one bird pokemon flew gracefully in the sky. Its long tail was stretched to its full length, while its large feet ridden with talons were tucked close to its belly. By just adding one extra, quick beat of its wings the pokemon managed to soar higher and quicker at the same time, which pleased it greatly.

With a loud sound, that sounded much like a caw, the pokemon tucked in her wings and dove straight towards the ground, then snapped them out again, coasting on a strong breeze.

This pokemon was Flyte. Or Trick, which was what most of the other pokemon knew her by. She was known for her jokes and pranks that she played on other pokemon before the spike balls were set up. Now she really didn't know what to do with her life. The spike balls would catch her if she exited the forest, which she absolutely didn't want to happen.

The world was in chaos. Absentmindedly, Flyte tucked in her wings again and dove, this time heading straight into Ruki, who was talking to Deimos and Phobos, and another small crowd.

OCC: Can I just do a paragraph intro for my other pokemon?

BIC:

"Nice, Flyte. Nice way to scare the littles." An electric pokemon snickered from a tree branch, where he was sitting, amused. "You really need to watch where you are going, Flyte, or someone is going to get hurt. At least this wasn't another one of your pranks."

This pokemon, whom Flyte trusted with her life, was a luxray. His name, though, was Shock, but he preferred that others called him Trap. It just seemed like a better name to him than Shock.

With a giant leap the pokemon landed softly on the ground, grabbed the bird pokemon's wing, and yanked her up to her feet. Flyte's talons angrily dug into the ground as she eyed the electric pokemon.

"I do watch where I am going! They just got in my way." Flyte growled quietly, hopping to stand behind Shock, who then turned to the group.

Shock, he was sure, was at least a good year or two older than the pokemon in the small crowd. "Sorry that my friend here has annoyed you. Please move on, carry on, don't complain, blah blah blah. You know the drill." He winked charmingly and turned to Flyte.

"Apologize."

"No!"

"Do it."

"No!"

"Fine, then you leave me no choice." The electric pokemon readied himself, then sent a painful electric shock wave hurtling towards the bird pokemon, who shivered violently.

"Sorry."

Ruki didn't even spare Deimos a glance. He was far too laid-back in her opinion, especially since they were practically in a war with the humans. You just couldn't be too careful.

The Umbreon relaxed, however, when the Absol and Persian's conversation told her that this Eevee was indeed a friend. She was about to apologize to the Eevee when the sound of beating wings alerted her. She calmly stepped back and out of the way as a Pidgeot came crashing down from the sky.

Ruki nodded to acknowledge Trap's apology, and smirked at his and Trick's banter.

"Now, why do these two sound so familiar?" she mocked, glancing meaningfully at Deimos and Phobos.

Aurora licked her paw, apparently unconcerned by the umbreon. "My name's Aurora, nice to meet you, too."

She hopped up when a bird pokemon burst out of nowhere, her tail glowing like a silver flame. Huh. The electric pokemon seemed to know her, and so did Phobos, Deimos and the umbreon.

Aurora went into a more relaxed stance, sitting down again. She wasn't so sure about the umbreon or the absol, but the persian seemed okay. More than okay, really... She felt her face heat up, and felt thankful for the fur that hid her blush.

Both Amber and Hiku were bored. They were inside their handmade treehouse, sitting on the beds of leaves. Amber was half asleep, from boredom, and Hiku was staring out the window. "Why don't we go hang out with that group?" Hiku said, after his emerald eyes noticed a group of Pokemon.

Amber lifted her head. "What?" she said, drowsily. "There's a group of Pokemon, let's go meet them," Hiku pointed, his ears twitching. Amber got up, and glanced out. "Kay," she mumbled.

They left the treehouse, and walked over to the group, not talking too much. "Heya!" Hiku jumped out of the bushes that surrounded the tree they'd came from. "Hi?" Amber looked slightly confused.

 Tripp was near a small stream that ran through the forest, drinking. The blue water reflected off of his brown eyes, and he sighed. It was quiet here, and he was in peace. He slowly let himself fall into the grass, and curl his small paws under him. He would probably go and walk around, but later, when he rested. 

 Tripp was already asleep when there was a splash, and water soaked him. "Wha?" he glanced up to see a pink Sneasel swimming rapidly across the stream. She landed on the land, splashing Tripp again, and Tripp groaned. 

 The Sneasel noticed him, and she frowned, her amber colored eyes shining. "I'm.... Sorry," she whimpered.

 "It's okay?" It was obvious that the Sneasel was shy, which was odd for a Sneasel. He stood up, and shook off.

 "I... Didn't mean to," The Sneasel looked down at the ground, and hid her eyes with her paws.

 "I mean it. It's okay," Tripp smiled. The Sneasel didn't answer though. Instead she took off, running. Tripp frowned. He felt like he'd hurt the poor Sneasel's feelings so he took off after her.

 He followed the Sneasel into a group of Pokemon, including an Eevee, a Persian, and Absol, and a few other Pokemon. "Erm," Tripp was slightly surprised.

 The Sneasel looked beyond frightened, and she was whimpering.

ooc:Well, now, I'm hurt! No one cared about Ruki's little comment, and after all of the thought that went into it! lol XD No, I'm jk. And yes, I'm just trying to make this post look longer than it really is. XD Oh, and Doncella? I think you need to make a profile for your characters. At least let us know what kind of Pokemon they are, please?

bic: Ruki gazed thoughtfully around the clearing, which was becoming more crowded by the minute. She mentally sighed at Phobos and Deimos' continuous banter, but the Persian's sudden change in attitude wasn't lost on her, and kept her senses alert.

I suppose I should make use of this crowd, Ruki decided as she padded toward a large, flat rock. The message will get around faster this way.

She passed Aurora on her way, and immediately felt a spike in heat. The Umbreon took a quick glance at the small Pokemon and confirmed that it was coming from her. She noticed the Eevee was staring at Deimos, and smirked to herself.

"Like him?" she murmured, leaning down close to Aurora's ear. Not waiting for an answer, she straightened and continued to the rock, leaping onto it and facing the crowd.

"May I have your attention?" she called, waiting for the Pokemon to listen. She quickly explained to them about the sweep and asked them to help spread the message, just as she had done earlier with Phobos and Deimos.

Aurora blushed even harder when Ruki made her comment, then walked away. "What's it to you?" she hissed to no one. Nonetheless, she looked up at the umbreon when she asked for their attention. Huh. She got into Team Nebula's base?

Despite the news, she felt extremely jealous of her when Deimos made his comment. Her mouth twisted and she straightened it out before anyone could see--she hoped.

Name: Nyari Gender: Female Species: Kirlia Moves: Magical Leaf, confusion, charge beam, safeguard Looks: Like a standard Kirlia. The only difference is that she's much taller, about 6'0. Personality: She is very friendly, with an extremely inquisitive nature. She likes to explore, but doesn't like socializing with other pokemon a lot. Other: She has been hurt by one of the spike balls, and has a long gash on her arm.

The unsettling feeling in the pit of Nyari's stomach made her shiver sickly. She knew somewhere in the forest, a pokemon was in peril. Shaking away the feeling like a bug, she scanned the area, looking for food. Her eyes stopped on a berry bush, sitrus berries covered on its surface.

Licking her lips, Nyari eagerly walked towards the bush with a smile. The leaves brushed against her skin as she moved in closer, her fingers quickly grasping a berry. A small click under her suddenly caught her attention. Jumping out of the spike ball's way, she fell to the ground a few feet away. She almost made it unscathed, but the unusual object left a long gash on her left arm.

"Ow....." she muttered, closing an eye as the pain began to flow over her. Looking back up at the dangerous item, she backed up, her eyes wide with fear. She began to run around aimlessly, her vision becoming blurred. Slumping to the ground, she tried to rise to her feet, but failed.

The last thing she saw before she fainted was an eevee.

As Ruki jumped down from the rock, she nearly hissed in irritation. How dense was that Persian? She liked Aurora; the Eevee had stayed calm when threatened and knew not to trust anyone or anything at first glance. So when Deimos had made that little comment, Ruki had seen Aurora's unhappy expression.

Males, the Umbreon thought scornfully. They're all oblivious.

Ruki shook her head. She'd worry about that later; right now, she had other things she needed to consider. Shouldering her way through the mob of Pokemon, she approached Phobos and Deimos.

"May I have a word with you-privately?" she asked Phobos. Whipping her head around to fix a glare on Deimos, she added icily,"As for you, try thinking before you speak, or you may say something stupid-more so than you intended."

Aurora felt vaguely relieved that Ruki didn't seem at all interested in Deimos. At least, she felt relieved until she saw the kirlia.

The pokemon stumbled into the clearing, bleeding from an ugly gash on her arm, and fainted. "Ohmygosh! Are you okay?" She knew the other pokemon must have been near a spike ball, which meant she wasn't part of Team Nebula. Aurora washed the wound as best she could and trickled water down the other pokemon's throat through a leaf twisted into a cone. The kirlia was probably in shock, which meant that she needed liquids. When she looked okay, Aurora tapped her lightly.

"Are you okay? What happened to you?"

Name: Setsune Gender: Male Species: Larvitar Moves: Bite, sandstorm, screech, rockslide Looks: Setsune has a crescent-shaped birthmark on his horn. Other than that, he's quite ordinary. Personality: Setsune is a bubbly, friendly pokemon. He loves exploring, and making friends. And when angered, he starts up a dangerous sandstorm. Other: He's still a baby, wandering the forest on his own. His parents were captured by Team Nebula when he was still in his egg.

Nyari's eyes fluttered open, her head spinning from loss of blood. "Ugh.....my head." she complained, sitting up to get a better look at her savior.

The eevee was average size, and looked just like any other eevee. The only thing that caught her eye was the white mark on her nose. Shaking away the last of the confusion, she blinked at Auroura drowzily. "There were these spiked pokeballs lined up like a barricade." she said, glancing at her cleaned wound, "I didn't see it, because I was collecting berries."
