We got our yearbooks today. They're paperbacks. For $19. Kinda expensive for what it is. I only signed Rory's so far, and she's one of my reeeaaly close friends, but I wrote, ''You hecka rock! Luv ya. -Jourdan'' Do you guys get yearbooks? What do you write in them? Anything about yearbooks is welcomed!
I got my senior yearbook. It was added into the tuition, but I believe it is 50-60 dollars.
Ours is hardcover and pretty thick. My senior picture looks like shit.
For 8th grade, ours was bound and paperback with a laminate cover for protection. The pages were pretty nice. We got to design our pages.
50-60 dollars? WTF?

My yearbook for middle school (7th and 8th grade) was hardback and $20.
I really liked having friends sign mine and signing other yearbooks. :P I was actually in some other pictures than just the class picture, so yay! ^_^
i doubt anyone's going to ask me to sign theirs, honestly, if someone asks me to sign theirs (besides friends i guess, no, i'd probably still do this to me friends), i'm just going to draw a big dick in red sharpie and write my name under it.
>;P
i hate people who ask EVERYONE to sign their yearbooks. i'm not your friend, i don't want to write in your shiny book. get away from me.
Mine was fifty dollars. I got mine about a month ago, and I had all of my friends sign it. I hate writing in them though. xD
I get yearbooks when I'm not going back the next year so I got a yearbook this year. My picture was AWFUL! I cannot fake a smile for shit. ^^;
I usually write obnoxiously long messages that just kind of drone on. I do that on purpose of course. Unless I dislike the person. In my ex's yearbook I wrote, ''Piss off, shit-bag'' then ''xoxo Tiffy'' with a heart next to xoxo.
Oh yes. It was fun. ;D
My last yearbook was well over 60 dollars, seriously. Graduating costs you an arm and a leg, and to make it even better, 3 months later you get to go into debt paying for college. Life after highschool = expensive.
I usually only wrote in the yearbooks of the people I really liked, and then I'd give them about half a page. Senior year, especially, I put a lot of effort into it, and Sophomore year. Until then, I really only bought yearbooks my 7th and 8th grade year.. it's not really worth it to me to pay that much unnecessarily all those years.
Annddd.. I was on yearbook staff 2 years, too XD

I have a bit of advice for you whippersnappers getting yearbooks- you probably shouldn't draw on and write insults about all the kids you dislike. I totally did this to my 8th grade yearbook, completely hijacked it, and it's embarrassing to show people. xD
Anyway, my senior picture was actually a pretty nice picture of me, but my school decided to leave me out of it because I did off-campus schooling instead of physically being there. LAME. I wasn't happy about that.
well i dont get my yearbook til... the 23? well, it is in color and its hard cover..
55$, but our yearbooks are gorgeous. I wrote SOOOO much in a lot of people's yearbooks, but, since I moved to the city only a couple of months ago, I wasn't in any of it, so there wasn't really any point in getting one.
If me college gave yearbooks, I didn't pay attention to themXD
our yearbooks were 79 dollars but half of it is in color and its hardback and its a big ass school
i wrote in my friend pawl's.. i took up one whole page hahah. i just wrote HI PAWL YOU ARE MY FAVORITE I LOVE YOU SIGNED (MY WHOLE NAME) :P
then my bff priscilla just wrote eachother long letters because we dont have yearbooks.
there are probablay 5 people in my entire school i care about, so why would i want a whole book full of doofuses. i have plenty of pictures of me with my friends and our own memories ANYWAY. so yeah.
i lost my freshmen yearbook. i wish i didnt because i had lots of friends back then 8( lmfao now i have... 3
My yearbook cost $150, plus another $10 for the video yearbook. My high school is very digital media/art/photography oriented though so our yearbooks are like... really fucking awesome and professional. It's all in color, really good-quality pictures and the layouts and theme are always sweet. I don't think any yearbook should cost as much as mine does, but what can you do; plus I love having all of my friends sign then reading them later.
I think ours were honestly around 75$ this year. Which was ridiculous, half of the pictures were blurry and the students not paying attention.
And the only person's I signed was our Drum Majors.
The last one I bought was in, like, third grade.
I don't want to remember these miscreants >_>
Mine cost $50.00. They are hardcover, and they look like shit. The pictures are like cropped/stretched badly, and half some pictures are cut off the page.
It's also a small school, so there aren't that many pages.
Mine was $60 or $70, I think. It's hardcover, but really not that big, considering our school has only 250 kids in it.
In all my pictures, I look like shit.
