Yeah, hardcover, about $30. Really thick. Over 200 pages of mistakes.
There are so many mistakes in our yearbooks. They put wrong names for people, and there is a girl who is a junior and she was put in the faculty section with her momma's name.
That would SUCK.
But I wrote once (upside down),"I'm the clown who came to town to sign your yearbook upside down".
Bogus, I know.
But I normally write novels for my closest friends.
"I can't wait 'til you graduate".
I didn't get a yearbook this year. I only look at them once, so why pay $30 for one?
I was president this year of my school's rock club.
I'm blinking in the picture and they spelled my last name wrong.
I got my yearbook at the end of 6th year of high school. I think it was about £20. It wasn't very thick because there was only 80 people in my year by the time we got to 6th year. It had a hard cover though. Someone wrote a really awesome poem for the yearbook but the headmistress said we weren't allowed to put it in (it was about our drunken weekend parties... we were under age :P) so someone printed out a copy on A4 paper for every student in the year and put it inside the yearbooks anyway :D Our yearbook photos are terrible. The day the photographer was meant to show up, everyone came to school looking perfect. Nice hair, full uniform, blah de blah. It was a nice day and he didn't show. About 6 weeks later, on a windy, rainy, winters day, he showed up unannounced. Everyone's hair is a mess and lots of folk don't have blazers and crap on.
I'm not getting my senior yearbook until next september, which takes out all the fun. :( The point is to sign them when people are actually around, right? xD
We got our yearbooks sometime last week I believe, and they were $60 or so pre-ordered, not including customization, and $80 after a certain point.
Waste of money, considering I wasn't even IN it. Not once. Not even my freshman picture in which I looked decent.
Apparently the photo company sent the yearbook staff doubles of a crapload of pictures, and they accidentally deleted both of my pictures instead of just one. XD
I'm non-existent now. :( But! I did take little pictures of my face (okay, they weren't that little - took up like, a huge chunk of space, but what can you do?!), and I stuck them in everyone who mattered's yearbook. 8) SO THERE YOU GO.
Ohohoh. And my best friend wrote this huge long page that was great. I loved it. ❤️
Ours is hardcovered, and has 350+ pages. They're pretty nice, They smell really bad though, at least when they're new.
They're like $65. Which is why I'm only getting one my senior year. :/
XD They put one person in the Sophomore section TWICE, with two different pictures, and there were a ton of seniors in the Sophomore and Freshman section.
They spelled my name right on one page, and WRONG on another <_<
This year I didn't have anyone sign my yearbook, and I didn't sign anyone's. Lol, I just never know what to write, so I avoid it.
Ours is hardcover and 30 bucks, I think. I was on the yearbook staff or whatever it's called, and I think it will turn out looking really nice. A lot nicer than past years, for sure.
Yes I have friends. Tons of friends who love me.
Mine was paperback and $20. I got practically my whole class to sign it, but that's just because I wasn't going to see most of them again, ever. That and everyone wanted me to sign theirs anyway so I figures they might as well sign mine. lol
I was in... a few pictures... I think like 4 or something.
Our yearbooks is hard cover and $40 It was our schools first all color yearbook! its soooo pretty! Most amazing yearbook ever!
My high school yearbook was 65 dollars when I bought it so.. but I only bought my senior year one. It was a hardbound book with laminated pages though and in color so...
My middle school yearbook was also hardbound, but for the most part it was black and white only.
We got ours yesterday, and they SUCK. Some douchebag in the yearbook club took over and made it the worst yearbook I have ever laid my eyes on. Hell, when I find out who it was, I will dropkick them, for making me pay thirty dollars for a piece of shit. That (hated) person completely messed them up. -grumblegrumblegrumble- Well, I can't refund mine anyway, because like 20 people already signed it...
Problems with it: -What really pissed me off was when I saw they didn't put my baby picture in it, even though I handed them a picture with my name on it, but no.
-There is also double pictures of three different people who don't even have an identical twin.
-And there is 3 of the same picture but on different pages.
-For 7th and 8th grade, the names are first name, last name, but in the 6th grade, the names are reversed - last name, first name.
-And there was one autograph page, that was like, 'Seniors rule!' and 'Congrats Grad!' Yeah, I know we 8th graders are only graduating from middle school, but we are not seniors, nor are we graduating highschool. Yet, anyways.
-And there was a picture of the highschool football team with the middle school cheerleaders, instead of the regular hishschool cheerleaders.
Our school only has hardcover yearbooks, for like $70-80 depending on when you order them. It sounds like a rip off, but my school is really huge. o_o
I didn't get one because I'm only a freshman, and I hated my experience at the school. Hahaha.
I do enjoy signing yearbooks though. :3
