Meat, we have the right to complain, and you should have turned your pets off if you didn't want them to win.

Especially since this just happened two nights ago and we said THEN that pets weren't removed if they were transferred. So it's not like this is a new discovery.

Having all of your friends come and yell at anyone complaining and going "GOD IT'S A GLITCH!" or "IT WAS ALREADY ACCEPTED" doesn't mean anything when it is NOT a glitch, and when it already being accepted would STILL be turned off.

Seriously people, if your going to complain all the time I think that the pet spotlight shouldn't happen anymore. The user even know that Thea wasn't suppose to win anyways. Besides, there is a lot of pets that have been nominated with nothing of their pages. XD

Because when you adopt a pet you're totally going to go immediately uncheck it right?

honestly, how was the owner's fault? when the pet is transferred it should be removed from the queue, easy as that. calm down. meat realizes she shouldn't have one, and the staff can redraw, simple as that .

Reserrection, people are getting pissed off because stuff like this happens and pets that actually deserve to win/are ready to win gets pushed down because of it. No one is bitching just to ruin's someone's moment. What is there to congratulate about 'THIS PET WASN'T SUPPOSED TO WIN DON'T BITCH OMG!!!' or a blank page? Nothing.

Thing is, plenty of people look forward to the Pet Spotlight to see their favorites and maybe their own pets win. This pet was not supposed to win, even the owner says that she wasn't supposed to win. All of those who are whining have their complaints for a repick justified, if you ask me.

I don't know if this is a glitch or what BUT I don't think even turning off nomination for your pet will take them out of the queue if they've already been accepted as a potential winner. I know this because my pet, Fabiynn, won Spotlight a week or so ago and I had turned off his nomination setting maybe a week or two before he had won. Evidently he hadn't been pulled from the queue even so.

Again, it sucks that a pet with an empty profile has won but I'm inclined to believe it's not the fault of the owner(s). Hopefully staff will fix up the kinks in the Pet Spotlight, though!

Although I do feel like complaining a bit.

Bieber has been nominated for the pet Spotlight for a while now, more than how long it's said it should take for him to be accepted or rejected, and I've gotten no notifications of whether or not he's been accepted or rejected from the queue. Which sucks, because his TC is finally done, he has his profile up, he's got an overlay, he has a (mostly just for lulz) story up, and an appropriate minion, which are what the Pet Spotlight page says are the requirements for acceptance into the queue. So frankly, I'm impatient.

And now, I will go whine and complain somewhere else to spare you all from my hypocrisy.

Also, even if you turn it off AFTER they are accepted, it will remove them from the win queue. So no, they didn't 'turn it off'.

It's possible that it was already in the queue before it was adopted, so turning off the ability to be nominated sort of doesn't prevent that. -.-

Rock, if you uncheck it, it gets removed from the queue even if it's accepted.

Style, it is NOT glitched. If someone nominates the pet, and the pet is accepted, it can win. That is NOT a glitch. It's the pet owner's fault for NOT turning off that pet being able to be nominated or win the spotlight.

Blaming it on a glitch is ridiculous. In both cases, it was the owner's fault. Go set your stupid pet preferences so they can't win. Easy as that.

Since the owner posted here that they weren't supposed to win... and that there isn't a spot to vote, I think they DO have it turned off, but it was accepted before the adoption.

Just so everyone knows, YOU CAN TURN OFF YOUR PET BEING NOMINATED FOR THE SPOTLIGHT.

It is NOT_HARD.

If you don't think your pet should win or don't want them to, go to your pet preferences and TURN IT OFF.
