i'd be happier if they made it once a week or fortnight, i don't really think it's needed everyday. there are a lot of people with pets out there that they want to win, but keeping in mind - just because a pet has an overlay/profile/TC doesn't mean it's of the same "quality" that everybody else will think deserves to win spotlight anyway, we've seen that already in the comments of a few previous winners.

I never said Meat sucks. I said people need to go to their pet preferences and turn off pets that shouldn't win the spotlight or that they do not want to win the spotlight.

This does in fact INCLUDE Meat, but I never said she specifically sucks, no. I just wish people could click that little button that says 'disable'. It's really not that hard.

Resserection, I'm not sure if you've noticed, but Subeta isn't an MMORPG. There are no GameMasters here.

There are Admins? Aka GameMasters since they work the system. Different term same meaning. Who cares? QQing over a spotlight winner isn't gonna get the owner to revoke the trophy since she has no control over it. If this staff is as active as they have shown to be, then why is everyone crying over it? It will be resolved.

Really, people, you guys are taking this way too seriously. I understand being angry over something like this. I mean, a lot of you who work very hard on your pets would like to win, yes? But... I mean, we could voice our complaints differently. It's sad that people get so worked up and act quite... rude, so quickly. I just wish that we could aaaaaall hold hands and get along. Can you people perhaps choose your words better next time? From my point of view, everything sounds so disrespectful and mean... :c Not trying to spark anything else, I just wanted to add my thoughts... ^^

Emilee, I don't really see anyone bitching at Meat, other than stating that she could have prevented this and that it isn't a glitch. People are just bitching because this seems to be happening a lot lately and it is annoying.

This complaining is ridiculous. Yes, the pet shouldn't have won, yes, maybe Meat could have done something to prevent it, but it was a honest mistake and bitching about it won't change anything. Meat has apologized multiple times for the mistake, and I personally don't blame her for forgetting to go click one tiny box somewhere. It's certainly not the first thing I think about when I adopt a new pet.

Yeah I'm guessing it might have just been an off-chance glitch or something? I'm not too fussed since thankfully Fabiynn had a full profile etc etc, I just had unchecked him because I preferred my other pets over him but there was nothing WRONG with him in regards to pet-spotlight requirements. But I'll def be checking next time to see if my pets have been pulled if I ever uncheck another one of my pets.

That being said, I illustrated my point because I thought it was unfair that everyone jumped on MEAT for not unchecking her pet because there might have been a chance it would have won anyway, unchecked or not. HOWEVER I definitely agree it's disappointing to see a blank profile win when there are many other pets who meet spotlight requirements waiting in the queue, but personally attacking someone for something they did/didn't do isn't gonna solve the problem at hand anyway.

The only thing ridiculous about this is you, Jessibean, flipping out here in the comments. Everyone else has laughed about the mistake and moved on, while you're hanging around viciously criticizing another player, rather than criticizing the staff. If you'd read this page you'd see that a user who turned off the pet spotlight option still won not that long ago. That says pretty clearly that just simply clicking the off button doesn't automatically take your pet out of the spotlight cue.

Also, it's not the pet owner's job to regulate the pet spotlight. Bitching out Meat because 'oh noez SHE didn't take a new pet out of the queue' is ridiculous. The staff runs the spotlight. The staff needs to be fixing these issues before they come up. Did Thea meet spotlight requirements when she was nominated? Probably. Does she meet spotlight requirements now? Obviously not. But it's not the player's responsibility to make sure whatever pets they have are presentable or up to your standards, it's the staffs job to take them out of the spotlight queue before they go up if there's something wrong.

MEAT, how dare you! you obviously wanted this to happen! you forced the site to glitch then set up the previous pets to make it seem like it's the site's fault! I AM ONTO YOU.

Not the winner's fault entirely, though they could've unchecked the pet or something. I know someone nominated my Garret for some reason (I'm thinking someone might've found it funny that he shared a name with Garret Fox from the masq event or something, and nominated him because of that), so I turned his nomination thingie off and it removed him. Not that hard.

Well, yes, certainly -- it IS saddening when people work really hard on their pets, and then the Pet Spotlight goes and makes a badly-timed pick, therefore eating up another chance for a win. I can understand perfectly why people are so worked up, even if it was an accidental win.

You could probably make a ticket. I checked with staff. I don't know, I suppose there could be a few oversights but I know quite a few people who had their pets removed entirely. However from my understanding, Meat did not uncheck Thea.
