Streamlined sounds good to me... I love the tail, though the ends of the ears seem a little too thick for me?

I like it, but I agree with the people who say it looks tubby. The Kora gives me the impression of an underwater creature, so personally I'd like to see something a little more streamlined as far as the body is concerned. This doesn't look like it's built for swimming. ^^; Still, I prefer this to the old one, and I'll be voting new.

I think it's adorable - all that bothers me is the way the ears and tail are almost intertwined and look the same. Its left ear could maybe be slightly displaced from the tails? Or perhaps the tails should be moved backwards or something like that. Other than that, really great =) Good work guys!

the new head just look like someone glued it to a body.
its just...there.
but I do like the new ones Ears.
the other one is 'fluffier' like on the elbow and hindleg. I like that.
and yeah, like everyone said, it looks rather overshaded.
its good tho. I still voted old. hah I always do. keep it upppp gais!

Its too shiny it reminds me of a ballon animal. I also the ears and tails I think would look better more tapered at the tips. Its nice having all four legs seen and over all the remake of the pose is fine. But the shading could use some tweaking and the ears and tails look chubby.

I like the old one a whole lot more. This one looks really stiff and unnatural; and it has the same structural problems as the new Terracoon: no neck, body shaped like a loaf of bread. I liked the thin and sleek look of the ears and tail a lot more: if you look closely enough at the old art, you'll notice that they're -folded over- at the end. Not round and fat psuedo-tentacles.

Aww Kora... Its face is to cute. But its coat is to shiny and its a bit on the chubby side...it needs to lay off on the twinkies XD Other than that I personally like it. Just a little bit of thinning out the belly and maybe some areas around the tails and ears, and a bit less shading so it wont look so plastic like and it'll be great...at least in my eyes

The tentacles look all bunched up on the new one, making it look tense and chubby. The old one is much more.. fluid, which I think fits the Kora much better.

I think the lighting and shading is...a little over done and I miss the fluffiness of the old one. Also, I don't know why but I feel like this one's glaring or trying to look mean on the eyes (if you compare it to the old one you'll see) I'm a long time Kora fan and I mean the old one, still this is good artwork. Just not for a Kora

the new one looks like a piece of plastic because of the shadowing, and also reminds me of a hippo because of the body build. It also has kind of... weird expression. Old one was cuddly, nice and graceful and should stay IMO.

The art is better, but I like the pouncing, playful pose of the old version far more. If the head was moved down a little maybe it wouldn't look so chubby? The eyes, ears and tails look great though.

I have to agree with the people saying the new Kora looks chubby. I liked the leaner look since it seemed to fit the long, graceful tentacles.

I like this new one in general (she just needs some pettin', yes she does! continues cooing) but I have a couple small reservations.

First, like others have said, the shading on the body is a bit over-done and kinda makes her look plastickey, not soft & cuddly like the old one. Perhaps some toning down of the shading and/or some indication of fur (like the old one had)?

Also, the tails... the overlapping looks a little awkward- the one second from the left (our left) looks to be in front of the two to the right. That might be intentional, but it does look awkward to me.

Like I said, new!Kora is very cute, I like her, she just needs a tiny bit more polish to be perfect. ^.^

As for the old version being "anatomically incorrect"...I always saw the Kora as an alien species not based on any animal here on earth. The old position makes it look like it is floating through space and it wouldn't need a ribcage if it is an alien and doesn't have any gravity on its planet. That or its ribs just aren't rounded like most species here on Earth. Maybe on its planet they have very short boxy looking ribcages and very small internal organs? I just never applied the rules of earth born anatomy to this pet as it is so very obviously alien.

I know the original kinda had a little sheen to it, but this one looks plasticy. I voted old. I don't know what to give for constructive criticism. I just think it looks way too shiny.

I like this for the most part. Only problems I see (and this might just be personal preference) are: This one looks a bit chubby. Could just be the shading... but the overall effect is that it's a little chubby. The Kora's left eartip and all three tailtips look... the same. o-o; It's somewhat weird to me... And this is probably not important, but just noting it: I'm not sure what kind of skin the Kora has, but this one looks smooth, like a dolphin, rather than furry. Other than that, the pose and face and everything is awesome. =3

Awww, so chubby and cute :3 Comparing to the old one, it's a great evolution! And I love the shine, since Kora looks rather aquatic-like, and it's supposed to look shiny :3

I'm not sure if it's intentional, but I think it's almost overshaded, making it look shiny (possibly wet, which may be intentional after all) and could be where some people are saying it looks chubby, Rah.

I like the new one- But the tails on top of the head look like snakes now, and it looks a bit too Chubby/ or like it's a body builder in the works. Toning down the shiney would be nice, but a new revamp is needed. I do love the eyes, and agree with the "Pig Hoove" comment, paws would be much better.

The new one looks 'chubbier' compared to the old because it actually has semi-plausible anatomy. The old Kora's body just dips in from the neck to the back legs, with no form at all. It has no ribcage, or really much of anything for that matter. o__O;

This is the first time in ages where I actually really like the redraw. The only problem is that the Kora looks fatter. It has a cute little belly... and, I agree, the shading makes it look plastic, not as cuddly as it used to look.

I voted for the old one. the ears are too round and in fact everything is too round on the new one. it looks more like a balloon figure of the old version. a makeover would be nice, but less round and more character maybe?

Adorable. :0! The Kora's left leg (Kora's left, not the viewer's) seems a smidge short? I understand there's perspective involved, but mebbe is.. a leetle short nonetheless? Iunno. Shading/colouring is gorgeous. Love the addition of the subtle dividey-mouth suggestionnn.. and the colouring on the eyes is lovely. C:

I like the new one's head and neck, but when I get to the body, I sort of have to grimace. It looks like it's made out of steel. The other one was light and fluffy, this one is shiny and hard.

I voted for the old. The head and ears on the new version look wonderful, but the cell-shading that was done on it makes it appear as though it's too fat. It's...Obese!Kora. D8 ...Well, that's a bit much, but it is a bit too much on the pudgy-side.

I quite like the concept of the kora getting a revamp, it is about it's time. However, I would like to put in my $.02.

+I quite like the head, it is quintessential Kora. Much love. And the pose is great too, it keeps that mysterious/floaty/void look. Almost like it's weightless.

+Not so much of the fan of the shiny. I always had thought that the Kora was more of a fluffy critter. Perhaps toning down the shading or breaking up some of the shading lines with the indication of fur would help it out.

+The front legs look like pigs' hooves. I prefered the Kora with more of a paw, not so much a straight leg.

+Biggest thing that is bugging me is the tails/ear tips. I've always seen them as being more feather-like and wispy to go with the floating effect. Now they seem to heavy to float... and it kind of looks like a tentacle monster.

That's my input. Thanks for putting it up for opinions and vote!
