This one seems...chibi-ish to me. And I don't like the plain boring pose, I think the old one looked more exciting. Also, perhaps raise the tail and make the tail a little bit bigger?

The tail could be a little higher up so it's not looking like it's coming out of the behind. Plus the tail could be a whole lot smoother like the rest of the body.

Also, the far eye is too small. Maybe if the eyes were both bigger? I really like it though.

It's too stocky and the whole head and chest is off a bit and the tail just doesn't seem to match. And what's up with that smile??? 0_o The eyes are a little off and the mask seems too, er, weird...? Maybe a re-do....?!?!

I very much like it! It's adorable. I do like the old pose better, as a lot of people said, but the art is actually so much better this time, and, unlike most of the other revamps, I don't really have any complaints with it (lol). Good job all around!

I voted old simply for the fact that I do not like how EVERY new revamp now has a very boring, static pose. Otherwise, the art is quite nice. Just jazz it up a bit.

I like it. But I think that like everyone said, the tail should be longer. And also, maybe a little less chubby? I don't know, it seems a little bigger in the stomach then the old version.

I'm fonder of the old one; this new one looks like a... stuffed animal. The facial expression is blank and the pose looks stiff. If you're going for a more 'realistic' look with these revamps, then there should be some sort of contour hinting at a neck (the head just looks kinda stuck on there, as do the other limbs- like I said, stuffed animal look). The more ferret-like pose of the old one was a lot more pleasing to the eye, I think.

I kind of like it, it's proportioned a bit better.. The stubby legs are kinda cute. A bit more realistic looking too, nice job. :]

Lovely art on the picture. Much better than the old version. However, i do feel the tail is off. Theres a sorta dip at the top, which doesnt look right. It also sorta looks like its coming from the back leg too . To me, the legs seem really small, however, dont take my word for it, as i fail at quad anatomy. There doesnt appear to be an inner ear too. The ear seems very flat, rather than rounded around an earhole as another point.

this is SUCH an improvement from the other terracoon... the two things i don't particularly like, are that the tail is too small and the body should be longer...otherwise its a great improvement

It looks shorter than the old terracoon. I love the face but the body could use fixing. Enlogating the body and bringing up the tail would make it look so much better. Even though this is an improvement from the old terracoon. Great job on the face though and I love the bit of life that has been put into the tails look. I love how it has a more fur look.

The new one look way too squarish. The old one is cartoony, yes, but it has a life. The new one has none. It look static, like a stuffed animal. Nice job on it, but I voted old because the pose just doesn't work at all.

I was never a huge fan of the Terracoon to begin with, but this one is more 'realistic' looking. The old one was rather cartoony.

He's cute... but yes, the tail does look almost as if it were.. wet.

The old version was so cartoony that anything is an improvement.

It did loose some of the devilishness it had, which made it so charming. I like the proportions though, except for the tail which is too small methinks. As someone else said, you need to "poof the tail out a bit more" hehe.

I personally like the old one better. The redraw has lost all the spunk the current drawing has. He used to look like a tenacious little devil, now he's just...there. Smiling somewhat stupidly.

The tail does not seem to fit with the rest of the picture. The new Terracoon looks wonderfully 3D, except for the tail. It seems flat and poorly draw. Also, the backline of fur is good except for a few of the spikes, which seem a bit overly ambitious. Like they're too large, and the artist just wanted to throw them in, regardless of whether they fit well or not.

All in all, the new Terracoon is a huge improvement in the lineart and shading department, but it has lost all its attitude, and bland pets are no fun.

the eyes are too small, its too short and fat, the hair is too spiky. indeed i have no idea why the terracoon needed an update, though. it doesnt look as curious as the old one. it just...stands there and looks. like someone said "stand there and look into the camera" and he says "ohnoes do i have to?"

I know the Terracoon is a stumpy critter, but the total lack of a neck here makes it look exceptionally stumpy - I think the old one, with having its head over its shoulder, gave the illusion of a neck. I agree that the tail should be fluffier, or at least not look so limp - it's very listless here. It borders on looking too... chibi, considering this is a standard pet pose, and I think it could be sleeked up a bit, not be QUITE so chubby.

Lol I dont think the mask makes it look mad. .__. I like it a lot but I agree that the tail should maybe be a bit more fluffy and the pose should more closely resemble the original terracoon. The original looks like it might be up to something, this one's just like 'HI GUYS WHATS UP', y'know? It also looks like one side of it's body is on an invisible ledge thanks to the legs. If the body's going to be at that angle then the legs should be level. It looks like you're looking down on it when the legs are like that, but the body doesn't comply with that. Two different perspectives are a no-no.

Very cute X3 However I agree with other people,

The tail's kinda to small,
Eyes could use a little work
The body kinda looks chubby to me, ._.;
And I kinda feel the ears are too big... But I'm unsure.
And yeah the pose ._.; ;D Shouldn't the Terracoon's be like little theifs? Or kinda cheeky like? x3 Wouldn't mind seeing that in the pose, like a cheeky glint Lol

I like it, but then the Terracoon (play Reflection and you will see) will have had two redraws while Clawisons, Felis and Ghostlies in their non special colors remain in the old Subeta style. I know there was an old, old prereset Ghostly. Also I wonder if before the artists revamp pets if they could finish drawing all the pets in all the colors for example the Dark Matter and Graveyard Fester are still the old ones and the Bloodred Antelphore. I think the Bloodred Ontra too. Also there is no Hydrus Fester. This is just my opinion. I am not being critical. I mean I think it is an absolutely darling drawing and I voted new. I just think other things should take precedence, but hey it is not my site as for the actual drawing up there. I cannot find anything wrong with it, but I rarely find anything wrong with Subeta art old or new as it has always been fantabulous!

I like it. Prefer it to the old one at least. I don't think it needs to be more ferret-like at all. That's what the pherret's for... I'd always assumed this was based on a raccoon, which is much more stocky. Something about the spiked up fur on its head seems off, but I can't pinpoint what... it's probably just personal preference.

I'm not so fond of the trying to turn it into a "real' raccoon... what with the tail changing and the chubbiness. It's a terracoon, not a real raccoon... I like them longer and thinner.
