That bytes. I enjoyed the trivia, though for some things it did get to be a bit much trying to cross reference sources, but I learned a lot, especially for events and holidays. (My fail score speaks for itself I think.)
sigh One of the few things I still did regularly on the site. Slowly but surely everything I liked about this site is being drastically changed or done away with. I guess the best sP sink is to just get rid of all the old players...
It's too bad the trivia's gone, but it makes sense if it was screwing up things on their end. It'd be nice to see some version of it come back in the future, though, even if there wasn't any incentive other than just the achievements.

Just seeing the trivia (when it came up) gave me a feeling of nostalgia for the early days of Subeta. And just reminded me of belonging to it for so long. Ahhh. ^_^
But I totally understand, and honestly, of all sites I'm on, I trust your decisions, Keith, the most. I usually just view them as smart and moving forward. I really respect your 'business sense'. And, just now, your comment about how you (the site) take user feedback "very seriously", well the way you worded it, just seems very sincere.

oh noo! :( I would love to see trivia re-introduced later on.. maybe in some other format. I really liked having to sift through the site to find the answers! Never could get those letter sequences though.. O_O

Why couldn't it have just been made into a multiple choice question? I guess that wouldn't solve the cheating, but it would solve the other matter of trying to word the answer correctly. This was a way to get a free prize.. the only thing invested was time. With the crystal shop, you still have to invest a little bit of sP. I'm not too sad about it, but I think there may have been another way to deal with it than remove it altogether. JMO.
:( Trivias were one of the only things I actually came on the site to do anymore, other than plots, training my pets, and checking the stocks. They will be sorely missed.
No comment. I never participated in Trivia, otherwise my reaction would be the same, and I'd be crying and mourning the loss as well. But the new requirement is a lot easier for me, as I would have not been able to figure out the answers to any Trivia questions regardless. Still, let us have a moment of silence for Trivia.

What a disappointment... This is something I rather enjoy on the site. Will this week's trivia still be awarded since it was posted and people answered it?
Trivias were hotly contested because the trivias were often worded poorly, ambiguously, or in some truly heart-warming cases, wrongly. And then UAs would have swathes of tickets from users asking them if it was wrong, and they'd tell us it was correct even when it wasn't, etc. That's hardly our fault as users. Staff's inability to create unambiguous trivia means we can't have trivia at all?

Well that stinks. I love the trivia. Favorite thing to do on the weekends since i normally don't have time to do the quests. I guess this means i have to figure out the crystal shop. I don't like it though.
I don't have a huge problem with it ending but I loved doing the Trivia, and I am sad you chose the Crystal Shop to distribute the prizes. I find it costly , and too hard to acquire by doing so. At least with the trivia if you answered right you were rewarded properly. Why not send those items to the Blue Building if that is where the trivia melds into? Would be a nice prize change up at least.
Aww, I really liked the trivia. It took me FOREVER AND EVER though to get the 10 for the BB when I first joined so I'm jealous it's only achievements now. Seems pretty fair though, but I'm sad to see it go!

This makes me sad :( I guess many people really cheated on it... I find the Crystal Shop a complete waste of time and sP, and I'm sad old prizes will go there because I'll never be able to get them. Oh well.
I'm saddened/disappointed by this. I have no real interest in the Blue Building or anything it offers (despite having access already), but Trivia has always been a site activity that I've enjoyed.
I hope that it will eventually return in some form, even if it ends up without actual rewards as an incentive.
