Yay! I hated the trivia since i always got it wrong and since the removal of that i'm one step closer to entering the blue building. How do you get a blue building pw anyways?
Why couldn't you guys just keep the requirement one or the other? Like complete trivia or achievements? sldkfjdkfj Now I'm back a step on getting in the blue building....Not like I've been working on that for the last few moths or anything with the trivia instead of working on saving for a dumb map. That's really cool of you! I was going to get the last of my map the next week too. Ugh! ;_; I even liked trivias, it was fun looking around and working on the answer!
Wow :( while I haven't been active the past year or so I've slowly started getting back into playing the site, but back when I did play addictively one of the things I always looked forward was the trivia, some of the best memories I have of when I first started was spending ages searching for an answer, the suspense of waiting for it finish and then being like 'HELL YEAH!'' when I got it right and then on to the next. Admittedly some of those number ones were beyond horrible, but on the whole they were really enjoyable. I understand the need for change in a site, ie. getting rid of the old to make way for the new, but like others have said having a volunteer/s to look after and update it would ease the 'burden' form the staff, and those who enjoy can continue doing so.
i dont like to see the trivia go but i do love the fact that you need at least 250 achievements for the blue building at least now maybe the items will go up a bit in price after !!!!

REALLY disappointed with this move. The trivia was one of the primary reasons why I bothered to log on weekly. I don't understand what was wrong with it.

Serious? I pop in every now and again to see what's going on, and trivia was one of the things I enjoyed. Subeta has kinda gone the way of Neopets, where you can't get cool stuff without spending plenty of your actual money to afford it. I have the faint suspicion that the prizes are going to start creeping their way toward the Cash Shop within the next six months or so.
I guess it makes sense. This IS a business.

Okay that really sucks that you are getting rid of trivia. It was the only way to get nice prizes without buying them at inflated prices. I don't find the whole because people were cheating a good reason to get rid of it. Also dumping the items in the Crystal Shop is a horrible idea! Why can't you just come up with a new puzzle game everyone could play to earn the prizes? The Crystal Shop is a pain in the butt next to training your pets with Jim, who only gives one lousy point per stat!
That's too bad. I'll miss the trivia. :(

I am saddened to see the Trivia end. I didn't always play, but I did enjoy it. I usually played based on what the prize was going to be =) But it was especially fun having to locate the answers. I wish this would have been proposed to us Subeta players to see how we all felt about loosing an important part of Subeta. The Trivia has been there ever since I started here. Sad to see it go.
any time there is a puzzle/general knowledge question that gives out any kind of prize on "name-any" site , there is bound to be cheating . lets see , the cruize trivia answers that were posted after users toiled & failed in masses on the get it right the first time achievement & they were posted on site forums . if staff are unable/tired/whatever to actually present a trivia every friday then say so , every other reason you "quote" is BS . also the past 5 or so trivia's were like subeta wasnt even trying to put up an effort in the questions .
about the ranting & raving that happens almost every friday , you have feedback forum so you get feedback . deal with it professionally , dont take it personally .
I've been fairly inactive on Subeta for a while now, but I still logged in for the trivia question every week. Literally, it's one of two things I still do on the site. Getting rid of the trivia definitely won't make me any more active on here, and now that I don't have a weekly thing to look forward to, what reason do I really have to log in at all? Extremely disappointed in this decision.

Disappointing. I have been frantic searching answers trying to get the achievement since it was set ridiculously high at 600 and now at finally 59 you quit? Yes, people cheat, boo-hoo. It is not right that everyone else who "plays fair" should have to give up something they enjoy because a handful are not smart enough to look for the answers themselves.
Really sad to see the Trivia go, it was definitely the game I enjoyed the most on Subeta.
Wow, this comes as a bit of a shock. The trivia was one of the things I enjoyed the most on this site. It gave out great prizes and it was mentally stimulating. But I have to admit that once Debilee stopped doing them, they went completely downhill...especially in the last few months. Lately it appeared as if the trivias were only changed when someone remembered to do it...and that could mean weeks with the same question up =/ But still, at least it was something to look forward to. -_-
I'm not sure how I feel about this. :( Trivia was fun! But if it's something that had to be done, then I'm interested in seeing what else you have in store for us. And thank you for considering other places besides the Crystal Shop! I always forget to frag.
Boo! I loved the trivia and I will really miss it. I looked forward to it, and even if I was stumped, sometimes i would guess correctly. It wasn't really for the prizes, I just liked the idea of it.

Well it is too bad the Trivia is being taken off the site. However claiming it was a weekly thing is a bit ridiculous since it seldom changed on a weekly basis, especially in the last couple of years.

honestly just put a trivia enthousiast in charge who enjoys coming up with riddles and mysteries. dont look at it like some job your obligated to do weekly.
if the small userbase who actually plays the trivia plays a part in your decision to discontinue it, then why not remove everything and turn this into a "dress up your avatar" exclusive site. remove the BC because really who does that and likes it? ten people? maybe remove restocking also and just have people press a button to have a chance at getting a random item, because the people that enjoy RSing are not many.
remove quests too and allow people to hand in variable amounts of sp for a chance at tokens, or just skip the vending machines entirely and move to giving out items.
agree with debilee too. if you're going to discontinue because you suck at trivia questions and think they're too much effort, just say so.
might be a good idea to put old trivia prizes in the cash shop so people will spend more $$$
YAY!!! More items in the Crystal Shop. sarcasm over I had a better chance at winning the prize from Trivia than I do at getting anything from the Crystal Shop
loved the trivia too, but i understand why they chose to get rid of it.
I can't even think of an adequate way to express my disappointment.
Not only is the Trivia one of the best things about Subeta, but to then stick all of the old prizes into one of the most REDUNDANT and annoying shops on the site...
