Pretty lame to get rid of a feature users actually like. That seems quite counter-productive. Isn't it supposed to be the point to ADD features we like, not take them away? Are you guys TRYING to make an uhappy userbase? If so, you're doing a wonderful job.
Definitely not something I support. I liked the trivia.
Why do you keep changing things that the users like about this site? Why do you keep updating things that DON'T need to be updated. I'm starting to think Subeta is the new neopets. What a sad, sad day.

WHAT?! NO!!! Though, I wasn't really fond of the Trivia itself, I would have liked to get more of the achievements.
I'm very disappointed with this decision, because I don't use the Crystal Shop, and now I'll have to spend money to buy the crystals. The trivia only needed me to search Subeta for the answer, no sP costs at all, now it'll be almost impossible to get things. :(
Awww hell. I was so close to my 10 trivias, but I'm 100 achievements away from 250 :(
That aside, I enjoyed the trivia. It was fun, and even when I couldn't work it out I looked forward to finding out what it was meant to be when it had ended.

I am kind disappointed with this decision, I really enjoyed attempting the trivia. I understand that cheating is an issue with trivia..I think it would be in any kind of contest where the answer can be shared. I really dislike the crystal shop, it honestly doesn't matter to me one way or the other where the old trivia prizes ended up, I just liked trying the trivia and feeling proud when I could get it on my own.
Is there any way to use trivia just for bragging rights (like maybe achievements?), while taking out the possibility of people to cheat to get specific item rewards?

well now I'm never gonna get into the blue building.
I'm really not pleased. I loved doing the trivias... it was an awesome and fun challenge searching through every inch of the Subeta site to try and find the answers! It made the idea of winning the prize all that much better because we had to work to earn our item.
But this change... I'm like many others and am not able to access the amount of crystals needed to "buy" the items I want out of the "shop". Even if I were it would not be the same... there isn't the same satisfaction at searching through the site (and learning about it as well) to find a name of an item or NPC.
I will miss the trivia, but I really hope the staff re-thinks this removal!
Honestly, I don't like the crystal shop. I never end up using it, and I never see anything in stock anyways. I loved the trivias, they were entertaining and easier than collecting crystals. I just don't have the time to gather hundreds of crystals just to buy things, and the only things I would buy anyways would be wearables. It's not worth it for me to collect anything else for expensive little tokens.

I really really dislike this, especially the part with the Crystal Shop. Since the site changed so much in the past few months, it seems nearly impossible to get enough items to change in for crystals.
You cant please everyone, a team of Trivia makers might have kept things going smoothly imho. But if this means you guys will get the Oekaki boards up sooner....
For a while, trying to solve the pixelated images that came up frequently I was deterred and didn't try often but I have enjoyed playing very much when i could look up information in the subetaencyclopedia or in subetalodge. And the unique prizes were fun. Too bad a small group of complainers spoiled it for everyone, or was there another reason you canceled it?

Not a fan of this decision at all. And out of all the times the crystal shop has restocked, I nearly never make it in time to see the item in stock, or I don't have enough power crystals for it. I don't like gathering crystals at all, either. So basically I'm forever doomed from getting wonderful items .-.
Not happy at all with this, Subeta Team. Trivia has always been fun (when I was not lazy, and actually attempted it), and gave out really unique, awesome prizes.
Really displeased. I come on here rarely enough as it is, and my visits are going to be even rarer now...

Perhaps you should have consulted the userbase before doing away with it? It's such a same that you decided to do this, as I loved the trivia. This really wasn't a good idea in my opinion, but it's not really my decision. I'm just really disappointed. unu

I can understand the whole getting rid of it because of cheaters thing..... but this doesn't mean i dont think its complete crap you guys are getting rid of it... i am a bit past annoyed, but i guess its just another thing to be gotten rid of that i enjoy. all the things i love of this site keeps getting kicked right in the stomach =/

Frankly the crystal shop is a terrible replcement idea for the trivia. For those of us with limited internettime the trivia was a great way to get a few nice prices by working for it when we had the time. Not just being lucky enough to be at the right place at the right time.

Came back after a long time, couldn't figure out where Trivia went - had to Google to find this page. I'm surprised, considering all the clearly unhappy folks here, that the feature is still gone... I'm quite displeased myself.
