i'm so bummed because i knew i was having this issue but just hoped it would be cleared / hadn't checked the forums before

there's mere hours left for the black friday sale and i unfortunately cannot pay with a card (tho i don't have a problem with that) but really want to use the funds in my paypal account and i am unable to do so ; __ ;

not a complaint per se i understand issues take time to resolve, this is public mourning !! i truly wish this could have been fixed before the sale

"We had a Black Friday sale, and got x% less revenue than last year, because our users couldn't use the PayPal widget, and PayPal isn't interested in troubleshooting with us after this problem has persisted for 2 months" would do wonders on Twitter or TrustPilot.

If PayPal isn’t going to do its job, then I hope Subeta will do a different service soon that helps international players pay at the cash shop. They want to spend their money!! xD LET THEM DO IT!!

Sadly it is still not working. Even the CW event and the Pawnshop is on the brink.

I had hoped, that we could throw our money at Subeta and all will be happy.

I find it very sad that it is not even worth an update, a short statement what is happening.

After reporting it on the Lag thread, I found this thread and realized this may be a lost cause. Very sad. I will see about going the other route.

What completely escapes me, how it can be, that paying for subscriptions works but buying CSC doesn't!?

My bet is that a subscription is already saved. It's automatic. If you went into PayPal and cancelled the link between paying Paypal and Subeta (there's like a subscription link page), and tried to buy it again, it wouldn't work.

HOW!? I would like to try google pay, but I just need to know how. How do you do the apple pay?

Still no update. Is there still anyone from the admins reading? How is the progress with paypal?

Absolutely gutted! I saw some extremely rare CSC items that have been in my wishlist for YEARS, but buying with Paypal just doesn’t work! If Subeta starts running into some financial problems, I’m blaming Paypal ☹️

Thank you. I've got now google pay but it won't show me the google pay button. I only have always the card and the US account button. It is so freaking frustrating. My subscribtions went throu, but nothing other.

@ everyone who wants to pay with paypal. I have connected my paypal account with google pay. And ONLY my paypal account. So i can still pay throu paypal.

So it works with Google pay and Apple pay.

I tried to set up my Paypal through Google Pay. Unfortunately, this doesn’t seem to be an option for Canadians, for some reason ☹️ But I thank you for your help! I’m sure this will work perfectly for others!

Okay yeah I just ran into this, and I am annoyed. I spent all my CSC I was up pretty high but the CW sale and the Pawnshop sale wiped me out, I have a fairly steady income from my CW's but yeah can't get PayPal to work...I am going to have to set up a direct pay or something..=_=;

I can't buy csc either and I use stripe

edit January 22: Still a problem. I tried buying CSC, neverending loading circle. I clicked the "new other way" and landed on Kumos! I tried logging in with my regular combo and to my greatest surprise that worked (no new credentials necessary) - I got the 500 CSC and went to buy more, but, as expected, there are only credit card options.

Like we have said before, nobody is going to pay € 80 or how much it costs now for a creditcard in order to only buy CSC. Just like I refuse to pay € 100 or whatever to use the motorway once a year, when I don't usually need it at all.

Please, for the site's sake as well get paypal working again!

... and, btw., costs can't be the factor, because the vendor also has to pay a fee, if people use cards, that's why they (esp. small shops) don't like or completely refuse them.

I would like a honest answer, is this issue being worked on at all? After 4 months it feels that this problem has a very very low priority (with project kumos being worked on) and that there are hopes that the users will eventually switch to credit card payment.

I've missed so much content and opportunities on this site already (Black Friday Sale, Pawn Shop, A LOT of slotting on CW's) that I am just frustrated. Please give us an update.
