UPDATE: finally got all the sewing finished and all wrapped up. I had to give up on finishing the cross stitch in time, there was just too much of the back stitching left and it's very complicated. I have two pages left now though so I'm hoping to send it at the end of the year. Anyway, the heating went off overnight. We called the heating people and he noticed the circuit breaker had been triggered. He flipped it back and it sparked and ignited for a brief moment. There are scorch marks on the cover. couple of wires were melted. Since he doesn't do much with electrics, he called an electrian for us. That man arrived at 4.15 today and fixed the problem. Apparently someone crossed an alumium wire with a copper wire and it was not a matter of it there would be a problem, but when. We are extremely grateful that there was no fire! He sorted it out and checked the other wires. Not exactly a stress free day we were hoping for. But it's a blessing that this happened because the chances of a fire were extremely high. Scary for sure and we are all a bit freaked out about it.

Well I sorta have it. Just couldn't finish the back stitching. The gift had to go out to arrive in time so I'm gonna try to get it sent to her for el Día de Reyes (Three Kings day) which is a very important holiday for her it'll work and it's on 6th Jan so I think i can get it done by then.

Kitty is fine :) She hid when I started banging on the door with the hammer and axe. But I was careful to try to pull the wood away from inside the door whilst I was breaking in. Oh dear, I admit I had a total meltdown on Thursday trying to get it all done. I have come to terms with not being able to get it sent in time. But I think I can get it done by the 6th of January for Epiphany.. let us know when you know. -hugs- I can't imagine how stressful this must be!

All orders were completed. All gifts but the cross stitch were finished and mailed. We'll I've got a patch on it. LOL you can laugh, it's a weird patch but I taped two clipboards over the hole on each side so the cats can't get splinters or hurt by the door.

Oh okay :) I mostly do landscapes and scenery scenes now, I do some horror themed stuff (or vent paintings for my mental health) but I usually only share those on my Insta or FB (depending on the intensity) with warnings because I know some people are sensitive to that kind of thing so I wouldn't share those here :)

Right? I've been watching since the start of 2013 (sadly the channel I used to watch back then is no longer uploading as of a few years ;.;) and I've watched the community grow on youtube, and it's been amazing to watch it go from this weird odd thing to a community supporting creators and each other! I don't do tik tok anymore sadly but I've watched some of my favorite asmrtists do reactions to some on their channels and I think their interesting, but too many do eating sounds and that's my number one most hated sound haha

Oooh I'm silly lol I'll give it a try one day, I think I'm going to focus a lot on acrylic since I just got a whole set for christmas on top of all the stuff I bought for myself from other christmas money on top of the bucket full of supplies I already had XD

That's not silly and I wouldn't have known if I hadn't been taking art classes. I'm sure you know you can water down acrylics and use almost like water colors too. I liked using both ways.

Sort of! I mostly only WATCH the PHF. I don't watch Premier League with being between teams. I can't watch the constant collisions and injuries of the NFL (which sucks because I really like it, but every play I cringe at every impact. Especially since the concussion data's come out.) I follow but do not watch women's soccer. I should, though.

My metamour thinks Hilary Knight is gorgeous and I agree, but Amanda Kessel is Phil Kessel's sister and he played WELL for the Penguins. He says Amanda's better than HE is. And I agree.

Hilary Knight is attractive but to me, as well, Amanda Kessel is way more attractive. And sounds like she's also a bada**! :-D

They both are, truly. Both are AMAZING hockey players. Hilary Knight came out as queer of some flavor recently, but I don't remember if she's bi or lesbian. Either way, good for her.

I might have to find a female hockey game to watch. :-) Liz and I used to go to hockey games by our house and watch the Seattle Thunderbirds play. A friend of ours used to call occasionally and give us her tickets and the seats were close to the benches so it was always entertaining. And that's good a person can love whom they want and hopefully we don't regress...

- When my youngest sent letters to Santa we would take thim to the local Macy's store. They had a mailbox that the kids could put the letter in and a few days later they would get an answering letter from Santa. It was so cute because the area was all decorated like the north pole. :D <3

Like you we don't do much for Christmas but due to snow coming in, today, tomorrow and rest of the week, I'm about done shopping. But it better be clear by Christmas eve though as Liz and I are planning on going to Sonic and buying a ton of burgers and fries to eat Christmas eve and Christmas day. Usually hubs makes a roast or I cook salmon but this year we're being decadent! :-P
