They are a bit of a stronger prescription this time so it’s a bit of an adjustment. But I like them! Working on breaking them in. They are plastic frames, my last pair were metal. - I'm probably going to have some kind of surgery. I'm hoping it'll be a small, non-invasive laproscopic type instead of what I initially thought... which involved robotic foot replacement. ( lol just kidding ;) ) :D

- no worries :D You know, I think all genres have their klunkers storywise. I'll admit that I do not like sci-fi books at all, but I love Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica. On the flip side of that I cringe at most televised fantasy as it has often, and badly ripped off beloved book series. Can't win, eh? lol :D

- well, if you lived through an Anchorage winter then you know what I'm talking about. Although your Anchorage trumps my Minneapolis. lmao :D A Malibu isn't a bad car. I was trying to talk my hubby into letting me get a burnt orange Dodge Charger. drools Sadly, I never got it although I keep dreaming. :D <3

- it'll be a quiet holiday for us as the other kids will be spread out across the country. I'll survive, though. :DIsn't this the first Christmas with your little girl? How sweet! I miss those days, when mine were little. :D <3

- I'm honestly not sure what's going to happen with my foot, yet. The Ortho hasn't called or left a note on the report. I'm hoping he gets to it before the end of the week. :) A last minute rush to get things done is always expected during the holidays. I don't think the holiday would be the same without it. That being said, I know you'll get it all done with time to spare. :D <3
