I always need my fringe to be shorter than my eyebrows, otherwise it drives me crazy 😊 Ewww on getting Pusur's fur up your nose though :P :P

I am the same with my fringe. I don't want bangs since my hair grows so fast I would have to get it cut so often. Fur in your nose tickles like nothing else and will drive you slightly bonkers before you get it out. lol It is a good thing he is so cute.

I found a good video from a hairdresser during the start of lockdowns in 2020, which showed basic instructions to trim your own fringe, seeing as hairdressers were closed at that point :P but the last hairdresser I went to, said as my hair grows so quickly, I could just drop by for a fringe trim once it starts getting on my nerves ;)

And can you believe I've never tried waffles either?!

I'd only ever trim my fringe - the rest of my hair just has to do its own thing until I can get it cut properly laughs I did my fringe several times during lockdowns.... some cuts were more successful than others, but at least it grows out again quickly :P

I wouldn't trust myself to even trim my own fringe. I bet it would end up very crooked and uneven. But at least it is just hair, and no real damage done. ;)

You should look into getting a waffle maker. They are easy enough to make. Mom and I had some today. :)

I've got the advantage that my fringe usually parts quite wide in the middle, so if it looks all uneven then I can just sweep it off to the sides where it's less obvious 😇 I wouldn't have the confidence to colour my hair at home though - that's definitely something I'd leave for the experts! :P

I ended up replacing my mobile over the weekend (my old one was fine until I try using the internet, then as soon as it got an app notification pop up, it'd just lag so badly I had to shut the whole thing down). The new one comes with the cable, but no plug to actually charge it! The lead is a USB-C (old phone is a regular USB) so I can't even pinch the plug for that :K In the end I 'borrowed' Mum's iPad plug as that's the same type, but I'm going to have to hunt for a suitable plug for the mobile now (why can't they just provide one in the box?!)

I have seen how much it cost to get your hair coloured at a salon, way too expensive for me to be able to do that regularly. I have always gotten good results with box dye. Might get someone to help me do it tho. I normally have my hair tucked to the side.. but now it is a bit too short I feel like to do that properly.

Hope it works better than the old one for you. :) Actually, with the new-ish EU rules they are not allowed to give you chargers to go a long with your new cellphone in the box. To save the environment and too many chargers ending up in the landfill.

that's true - when I used to have my hair coloured, I went to the local college (they have a salon where the trainees cut & colour hair) which worked out a lot cheaper!

I bought some hair clips to keep my fringe out of my face before, but they usually slide off my hair after a while :K :P

I got a Samsung Galaxy A14, which has a much better camera than my old one (old one was a Galaxy A6). And I tried using instagram on there yesterday & I hadn't realised how fast that could actually run on a phone laughs

I didn't realise it was down to EU rulings - I wouldn't mind if there was an option at the online checkout to add in a charger (paying extra for it) but it just seems crazy to not even have the option to purchase the right one when you buy the phone, considering that even my Mum's phone (about 4 years old) doesn't have the up-to-date USB-C charger, so it's likely that there aren't many lying around ready to use at home (unless people really change their phones every year or two!)

Having a trainee do it is a good idea. That might be something worth looking into. :) Right now I am using hair clips to keep my hair out of my eyes. :P Looking forward to it being long enough to not have to do that. lol That is the one thing I don't like about my new hair style. :K

That is the two things you usually notice the most with a good phone upgrade. Speed and camera. ;) Which is why I always tell mom not to get any of the cheapest smartphones and get something mid-range instead.

EU is also forcing apple to use the same type of charging port as the other phone makers do, which is a good thing I think. At least a phone charger should be easy to buy/find, and not too terribly expensive. It is more convenient to get one in the box tho of course.

My fringe never did get long enough to be able to tie back with my ponytail before I had my hair cut - the fringe hairs just seemed to get to a certain length then snap rather than growing more o.O

Mum always had my old phones whenever I upgraded mine, so she was quite pleased to actually pick her current phone out for herself rather than having my 'old cast-offs' :P

nods I can see the point of that - I know the more recent iPads have USB-C connectors rather than the lightning ones, which makes it a lot easier if you can't find the cable at any point! And yeah I got the charger for my phone direct from Samsung's website. I could've got an unbranded one cheaper, but I'd rather go with the Samsung one while the phone's still new, just to make sure it works properly!

right? Or eyelashes. Mum thought I was going crackers with that one. But I was getting smears where my lashes were so I went to the glasses shop and asked and they said oh yes that's a thing. They did some jiggerypokery and fixed that problem. I was pushing them up too close because they kept falling. This particular frame is very thin plastic, giving the closest look of metal I've seen, but that also means they loose their shape a smidge more often. But I don't mind having to have them adjusted more often as long as they work lmao.

so do I! I have a Starry Night by Van Gogh and it's so lovely and sparkly :D definitely wasn't me. I was also hit with an extremely generous Annon. I got several wishlist items a lot of them cats as well :D Cats are so awesome lmao and delightfully weird.
