oddly enough, the cat mask seems to line up pretty well (although how many pink skinned cats have you seen?!) Delicate Gold Bead Mask adds a little sparkle - it doesn't scream "mask" but maybe lifts the eyes a little?

It'd be a shame to have to sell the wings, but if you can't work with them, then there isn't much point in hanging onto them ;) Is there anything in particular that makes you struggle with using the skin, or just kind of an overall "meh" when you try anything with it?

What kind of art would you be doing for the journal? Just decorations? Doing okay here. I spent most of yesterday going to Ikea with my mom to pick up a tv stand.. and then assembling it. Which was quite the task!

maybe it also doesn't help where you've got the sakura branches sticking out from the HA itself? I've never got on with the skins that have all the 'extras' outside of the main HA (other than the wolf skin of course :P)

My computer's started playing silly fools - I've had the 'blue screen of death' twice in the last 7 days now (different errors) :K and so far, I can't actually find out what the problem actually is (doesn't help that the computer didn't write a 'dump file' for the second one, so there's no information on what programme / process was causing it :K I just have a horrible feeling that it's heading towards this computer needing replacing (I've had it almost 8 years, which is longer than my previous computers have lasted!)

That's how me and Mum spent most of the wake for my Gran (the one who died over 10 years ago) - neither of us really felt comfortable mingling with the other family / friends, so we just kept busy in the kitchen making cups of tea! 😊

That was what I did when we threw a big surprise birthday party for my uncle. I just mostly helped cleaning up and such. :P It gets a bit much for me sometimes as well. ;)

You could just create a document on your computer if you don't have a notebook laying around. :)

I don't like socialising at the best of times, so it's definitely better to have something to do rather than having to sit and make small talk! :P

True, although my computer's started playing silly fools (I've had two blue screen errors, and the second one wasn't possible to figure out what caused it), so I'm trying to streamline a lot of the things I've saved on the computer - there's some photos & files that ended up duplicated when I changed computers years ago, so I thought I'd try and delete stuff like that, and maybe some older files / pics that I won't be likely to want to keep .... even though I'm struggling to actually delete anything, as I keep feeling that it might come in handy one day! 😊

well I've made backgrounds on many of the pages with paint and then added some foreground stencilled images with thicker paint, which I outline in both black and white ink. Then collage. It really looks pretty awesome and doesn't really require talent. lol. I also use stencils to make neat looks in my books. Splatter paint too. Oh and I do some Zentangles as well. Sometimes I collage over them too. I got some inspiration from Dyane Reaveley of Dylusions take a look and heres the part 2 She's got several ideas like this. Some have her leaving one side open to write in others have her solely doing art in them.

Oh don't you just LOVE doing those flat packs of furniture lol NOT.

I really like the look of the stuff you showed me. Reminds me of some of the pages in a scrapbook you made for me before. with the splatter paint. I have some stencils laying around, but not much paint. lol But it does look doable!

Oh, it is incredible how many steps/screws etc that goes into one simple furniture piece. o_O I hope it will be a while until we buy any more. lol

Now that does not sound fun to sort out at all. I am paranoid about loosing files so mine are stored on my laptop, external hard drive and in the cloud. :P There should be ways to find duplicates in your files. :) At least digital junk doesn't take up valuable space in your house. 👼

Have you tried playing with the skin under one of the old cut-out backgrounds? That's my cheats way of checking if it's the sticky-out bits (:P) that are making it hard to work with or not ;)

nods I've got an external hard drive that does a backup every day - hopefully that's actually saving things it should be! I also kept the old external hard drive backups from older computers, so I've probably got several copies of older files across the years ;) So far it's behaved itself, but the last two errors were on Wednesdays, so I'm half wondering if there'll be another blue screen error then!

I've got worse at small talk as I've got older :P but part of that probably comes from having not been in the workplace since '06, so I don't get as much practise!

I've never done cloud storage, but I do have back up external hard drives! I still hate deleting files though, as I'm always worried I'll remove something I should've kept :P 😊 To find the duplicate files, I just merged several dated folders into one, removed any duplicates, then separated them back out into date folders again ;)

Whenever I was in the staff room at work, I just tended to sit and listen to everyone else rather than join in - that way I didn't need to form an opinion on much either! :P I got used to the small staff room with a max of 5 people in there, but I never got to grips with the larger eatery in my last job.... there'd be a minimum of 20 or 30 people in there (not all ones from the department I worked in, either), so I just had my lunch either outside on a bench, or in the car if it was raining 😊

I want to make sure I don't run out of space in the near future (I've got about 25% left on this computer's hard drive, so if I need to replace this one, then the new one will need to have enough space to last for a good number of years!!) ;) Apparently I can add storage space to this one, but given that it's not been working quite as well as it should've done, I don't know that I'd want to add into this one now!

That's definitely not one I'd even attempt drawing for myself (I stink at drawing cars side-on, let alone at an angle to Subeta standards!), but I do wish there was a CW car at the very least that'd work on there ;)

That is the thing, you only get more files etc as time goes. Being able to add extra storage is always nice. :) With no space for a computer desk I am stuck with laptops only for now. ;) Until I get rich and can have an extra spare room for gaming/hobbies/guests. 👼

I would hate having to rely on a laptop like that, but computers do take up quite a bit of space (even if you have the smallest computer desk you can find, like I do!) ;)
