I cleaned my bathroom. Didn't really do anything else today except apts and errands.

Musical? I didn't know they did Beetlejuice as a musical. Since I didn't have anything else I wanted to do, I watched Beetlejuice tonight. - It is so stupid and also so hilarious. :P Still need to watch The Little Vampire too :) And I never did watch Hocus Pocus the other night like I meant to :P I'll get to it.

[Edit] 10-12 625am Ok guys. What a trip. So it went fine for the most part. Stopped at Katie's visited for maybe 2hrs. Got back on the road and 40miles from my brother in Kingsland, my car started acting up. Making these weird whiny/whistly noise, like you ever had your tires "sing" from the road? Sort of like that but different. So I went to pull off and see what it could be and then it made this grinding/breaking sound so I stopped in the middle of the freeway/on ramp clearing panicking. Called Ryan. He called Eric. Who called my mom and Nicky since Nicky would be the one who worked on it. Road crew came along and pushed me off to the shoulder since I was scared to try and drive it. Waited 2 hours for mom and Nicky. Stupid car didn't act up at all when he drove it onto the tow dolly. He will look at it this morning and see if he can figure out what's wrong and if he can fix it. It does crank, it does move but I was so scared. Then my bank wanted to not let me check in at the hotel because it alerted as a fraudulent charge (I guess because I never go out of town lol). What a night!!!!

650am SO I was going to go walk on the beach this morning. But no.Can't do that. Its raining. Sigh. AND I can't log into farmville on this laptop either. I made Nathan bring it so I could, but it wont work

Yes. Thank goodness. It was scary. Scariest was walking up the onramp because I had to go pee. There was no way to cut around due to fence and woods so had to walk alllll the way up. Got to the burger King and used the potty and got food and then waited there the next 30min for my mom Plus it was dark by then so I didn't want to walk back to the car in the dark

I was up atthe HS today instead of the elementary and you guys. Everyone was so nice, it was so much easier. I don't want to go back to the elementary eeeee

Nope, the people at the elementary school are kind of.. mean. And there's only three of them. And.. yeah. Just.. mean.

The high school, everyone was so nice! It was weird. And the kids were nicer. And um.. they could say what they wanted. And there were less of them, because they have different lines to choose from.

Haha yes I was so excited to find one!! And then I found three!!! I have a baby food jar from the year we lived here (Nathan was 3, or maybe I started that jar when I was 15? Not sure!) So they'll go in there too lol

Well my dad offered me his 1995 geo to drive home. But when my brother Eric heard that, he and his wife instead offered thier 2011 Mazda. And then after alot of phone call shenanigans... They GAVE it to me!! Like signed the title, put it in your name whenever you have the $ and no hurry, GAVE it to me!!!!!

We let even our preK kids pick what they want? I mean, they have to have 3 things on the tray so they can't walk out with just milk and chicken nuggets, but they usually have a choice of vegetable, some sort of bread/potato thing and fruit. And they don't have to get milk if they get fruit and veg. Tho most kids get the milk. There is usually 2 options for main dish to pick too. Used to be 3 but since pandemic been hard to get stuff so now 2. We have them pick in the morning but if they change their mind at lunch it's usually ok (if they ask nice and aren't having a fit because they are being a brat).

Oh yeah, they get choices, but they're not very good at saying WHAT THEY WANT. :P They don't have them pick in the morning anymore, so most of the time they get there, hear all the choices, and just.. shut down. I think they need practice, the kindergarteners.

I know Kat and Luce have probably seen this but it's cracking me up. iz and I designed this last night and I made it this morning and it is KILLING ME.

We just pick main course in the morning. They choose whatever sides they want in the line.

Made it to Katie's. We went and had dinner at her pizza place she wanted to show me. And now at a bowling alley/game place. I'm not bowling g due to my arm but I will play arcade with them.

Uni is really hard this term. We are doing statistics and quantitative research methods. I have been working my butt off. Hardly had any time to do nice things so I've not been around. Got an essay due in early November so I probably won't make much of morostide this year. Big hug to you all. Hope you are all doing ok xxx

no - my car is not fixed. One of my brothers ended up GIVNG me a new (to me) car !! :o a 2011 Mazda. We decided to send him the mustang title and they can do whatever they decide with it, between my brothers. :) Thankfully no one was hurt, only a little scared by the car breaking down and sitting on the side of the road for 2hrs waiting on them ;) Not even VERY scared, just a little lol

I'm sorry Uni is being hard for you this semester :( I don't like writing papers of any kind myself. I will help you get anything you need for Morostide if you want!! :D

I am finally home again :) And still shenanigans going on with cars :P Shane, my oldest, called me yesterday "mom I want to buy this, do I get insurance first, how do I do the tag, etc etc" I told him to double check with his dad but told him what I thought to do. He wasn't sure he would get it, but he did, and so literally as I was getting to my exit to come home, he called and said "mom this belt broke on the car can you get me?" and then "i'll need to ask dad to help put the new one on" - so I told him to call dad. Who had NO IDEA Shane was even LOOKING at that car. Yeeesh. So now, I will probably have a Ford Explorer sitting in my yard except for the few random days Shane is home off the truck :P So Dad went to help rescue HIM instead, and I came home.

And in the midst of all that, Nathans therapist office called and asked if we could move his apt to 3 instead of 5 today. SURRRRRE why not change more things? :P So shortly we will be going to therapy. And then tomorrow I have to go shopping because there is VERY LITTLE to eat at my house besides the snacks we took/brought back with us and some frozen meat for dinners. (No sides, no biscuits, no milk, etc)

Ahhh, sorry Kat. Concession stand Friday night, yesterday we basically watched movies and cleaned all day, and then this morning I ran Lily to church for 8, so she could open it and turn the lights on and run the sound tech.

Heh no worries on that one. The kid was at the truck stop he normally parks at to come home, so no big distance thank goodness and a safe secure area. Shane just needs to learn thru his own stupidity (should not buy a cheap used car, its likely to not run well or break down quick....he didn't ask us for advice, so its on him). He is the type that learns better after making mistakes anyway. Thought he'd already learned THIS mistake tho. Its at my house, quite a few other things he needs to fix sooner rather than later, and a bunch he can fix later rather than sooner. Dad is going to take a look at it himself this week and see if there is things Shane didn't see that needs to be fixed sooner.

And ugh on Lily. Sorry she's being a bratchild so bad you are aggravated to death with her. That is not a fun/good situation to deal with, with kids :( ((((HUGS))))

Just finished all my quests except Drills/Battle. Need to go see about my Bio Lab (I have one "due" Monday - although I truly have til Dec to do it according to the teacher). Haven't looked at school ALLLLLL WEEEEEEEK. Since they were pretty much on break part of the time I was gone too :D YAY for good timing.

I made a batch of tomato bisque yesterday and it was SO GOOD!! I could eat that every day.
My brother went to the store yesterday and picked out a flavor of trisquits that was smoked gouda flavored. Those are incredible! Have made some other yummies over the last few days and I'm ready to make more. Perfect time for soups and spicy foods.

I am excited to TOT!! I love seeing the new items. I don't know about spicy but I agree, soups are better in fall/winter.

Place where hubby lives now is doing a door to door TOT and asking all residents to participate. I told him it made me nostalgic and I wanted to come give out candy with him. Lol he said I could if I really wanted. The last time I passed out candy Shane was a toddler. After we moved here to Griffin we always had to go TOT somewhere else and no one ever came to our door, we are not in a neighborhood.

I've never given out candy. There's just no kids around LOL. And obviously, I've been trick or treating with the kids, the past.. forever!

Though I do enjoy giving it out at the trunk or treat the church does each year, that's fun! This year we're being crayons... and a bat.
