YAY Kat!!! So glad you were able to catch s/thing so nice! I've actually caught a few good things from the FS this morning, and a number of things from Freyalise. All I'm going to say is that I WILL be sharing w/ friends so I won't be mentioning things that I got.
I did check WL's for a few things and one of those was for that I got earlier from the FS and didn't see anyone that had it on their WL. Already have it but it's SO CUTE! If no one wants it, she'll be going in my cat gallery. :P

I haven't wanted to vend b/c there is going to be so much crap going into user shops and my tokens are more valuable than the exchange of crystals to frag those really low priced items.

Got some of last year's items that I still had on my WL - only from Freyalise. I'm good w/ that. Nothing spectacular from Carl.

I wish I could say that I could get ALLL the new books since it seems that what everyone primarily wants, but those have always been the hardest to get. As most should know, I only read those expensive/rare books to my main pet so if I get anything else, they will be shared. <3 It's s/thing I've always done b/c I understand what it's like not to be on the pc 24/7 - and yet I always yearn for a break from it all.

Cazzie used to have amazing restock skills. I’m sure she still has.

I remember the first time she came down to stay she taught me how to restock.. as I had bloody clue 😂

I’ve snagged a couple of minions and clothng. I’m not too fussed about books. I get them great. If not oh well

I am totally not a RS'er. Since they revamped how shops RS several years ago, I've totally lost the ability. Every blue moon or so, I try it again but it just takes too much time to sit and compete w/ others that make this their main source of sP to give it too much time.

[edit] I found the article I recently read about the things we were discussing yesterday. I get the feeling that you were moved by the funeral b/c it reminded you of your mom (as I would've felt the same in regards to s/thing my dad was passionate about). I think that when people pass on, they are allowed all the knowledge that we have to work for and if that is true, then she would want you to have more knowledge to protect yourself and to be at peace. Hahaha yes, totally appropriate GIF. Although I'm saying that I keep not seeing anything there, I really am not frustrated by it. I almost never see anything there any year. I usually end up buying what I want from user shops later. I do like attempting to get an item or two tho ;)

Randy Andy that headline in the 90’s always made me giggle. Over here the legal age for consent is 16. So majority say that she was of legal age. Plus they say she looks really happy on the photo. Guess no one really knows what happened as it’s he said she said, plus it never went to court. So majority of the royalists (not myself) say as it didn’t go to court he’s innocent. What about the 12 million. He borrowed from the queen. Plus being stripped of his titles.. that wouldn’t have happen if he was innocent.

I remember as a kid writing in to Jimmy Saville. He used to have a to show where people wrote in asking to do something..like riding an elephant to meeting a celebrity. And he ‘fixed ‘ them to do it. His show was Jim’s Fix It. Looking back I’m glad I didn’t get picked.

I think the people that really get frustrated Kat, are the people that haven't saved up a lot of sP like you and others in this group have. While it's not all laziness as some people solely RS, others play the crap out of the games and others, like me, get really sick of doing the same humdrum activity again (quests) and again, yet spend a lot of sP on things like their wardrobe or pets, it's a matter of funds. Personally, I find it irritating when there are people that get things straight away from the shop and price them at 30 and 40ml. Like, wtf is the point of that? Yes yes I know, others drop those prices but for real, why are you taking things that people WANT only to resell them?
Ugh, that last question/statement was rhetorical BUT, the same thing happens in the CW world which really pisses a lot of contributors off to where things have become a lot harder to get.

Bad timing on the FS and Keel. FS should've happened MONTHS ago. Is the pawn shop going to take this damn long to open up again? Just over 3mths 'til the end of the year. Can you believe that?!!

Like I said, I already know I'm fortunate b/c I work on the computer M-F so I'm generally available to stalk these events, but that's why I also like to share. <3

Yea I think it's stupid to price things super high just because they are new, and just because you can. I also agree, why snatch stuff others want? My answer to that tho, is because sometimes it's all you can snatch! For this event anyway. Still no reason to price it high. Now I am not above selling something for a profit ...but not gonna price gouge.

I work on a pc mon to Friday, I’m in the office one day a week. Rest is working from home. Our work has nearly all non work sites blocked, I recently tried to log on a specific part of our own companies website and it was blocked….. seriously. I use my iPad and phone during these hours.

I have some plans this weekend. Saturday going to celebrate my friends 50th in York. The Sunday going to Harry Potter Studios for the 5th time, then from the 1 October I have two weeks off work.. can’t bloody wait

What part of Britain are you from? I recently watched a video that gave example of 12 - yes, only 12 - different dialects from the UK. Can't quite remember the acronym but I think it's "PR" for the proper type of English that so many are enamored with? Others are quite hard to understand, to be sure. I can't remember the areas either but I find it fascinating that in such a small area there are SO many dialects. Also watched a video on how a lot of Asians (think it was mostly Japanese as I watch a lot of stuff about Japan) think that Americans talk like and it was ALL the most southern states - like a cowboy type dialect. It was hilarious... mostly.

There are loads of dialects. Ian’s got a different accent from me, Caz is from the north east and has the best accent ❤️

Sorry guys, been on long enough to refresh the free shop occasionally today, but I've been SO frustrated and annoyed with a CERTAIN one of my children that I've just been cleaning and throwing bunches of stuff away, weeding through my closet, etc.

Then I sat down and did the rest of the lego marvel advent calendar I got on clearance (only $15!) in January or Feb last year. Alex got home and he and I opened the rest of the days up. I will say, the Marvel ones.. not my favorite.

The joy of having children right? Makes me glad we don’t have kids.

I need it however if anyone else does as well give it to them.
