On Saturday, I got to help my Author and bottle their Irish Extra Stout ale that they made last six weeks ago. It took four weeks to ferment and two weeks in a secondary fermentation. The final alcohol content is 5.5% and now it needs to rest in the bottle to get the bubbles working. It's a dark dark dark ale that's almost like dark coffee. I got to taste it (it's not bubbly, which is more like Poppy's Famous Wheezle Brew back home) and it is good! A little more bitter than I'm used to, but then, Poppy doesn't always have hops at his disposal to add to his ales. Nutty, rich, creamy, and full of wonderful berry, chocolate and coffee flavors. Just right for Alegarten!

i cant remember who had a problem daughter with really bad migraines too..hmm may not be youshrugs at my bad memory Anna had to have 10 injections into her cervical spine today to help with the migraine symptoms sigh...the side effects we hope goes away by tomorrow..
