My prayers for your parents recovery. I too am in my sixties. I would NOT want to be in a hospital with IT at all! My sincerest empathies. Over here I heard that a couple both positive got to room together! Must have been a fluke. Please keep updating; hoping to hear soon about their recovery. I am going to go drink some apple cider vinegar now.... (that's my version of Lysol for the inside)

It certainly wakes me up at 3:00 am (that and the a/c being off and the wind too still for air to move inside) but only with annoyance that I cannot remember, not with remembering. Koshka has blurred; they keep saying she was ginger and I am SURE she wasn't. Dang swiss cheese again and again! The chicken was most definitely yellow. Cute thing. Ran up Shirah's arm and perched on her shoulder. Her new family of not yellow chickens didn't like her much. But that memory, over 20 years ago, is firm.

I do terrible restocking at the shop! Anyhow, other than carl's quests, you can also vend items from Oceans depth vending machine. I get 3-4 new items most days with that. OD usually only hands out clothing, but this year the sea witch plushies are also going out from the vending machine due to "SEA" as a keyword.

You can order the figurine after you make it, there is color option on the website, but it would cost more or you can leave it plain and paint it at home. It is mainly used for at home gaming.

That's my dog! I think they took a picture of her and made a matching companion. She is very old and sleeps a lot now. I also have a slew of feral and semi-friendly cats I feed twice a day outside (I found out some years ago I am allergic to cat fur! Otherwise I had them in the house!). At one point it seemed that each kid had a pet. Now they are all grown and mostly moved out and I can't make them do chores anymore LOL so less pets. The sparkly lights and open room is for this week of our holiday called Succot. We eat out there and are supposed to sleep there, but only the young men-folk actually sleep there anymore. Your HA is so cute. You always make such nice ones!

Update:

So, they had said my mom wasn't getting enough oxygen, and have had her on it for the last couple days. Right now she's been told that if she gets her oxygen levels up to between 90-100 she can go home. (Yaay! ^_^ ) I've got a yummy hearty soup planned for her for when she gets home (yes, I'll keep my distance) that she seemed to look forward to. She still sounded sick on the phone, but better than she did.

My dad.. actually sounds a bit worse over the phone.
[Mom mentioned that the floor she's kept on has only has a practice code red, and that dad's floor keeps getting various codes called all the time.] They had said that he had some sort of kidney issue (I don't remember exactly what was going on with that). His side of the family has had kidney issues that he has been working on his health to prevent, so I don't know how that's gonna go.
Last night when I talked to him he sounded a bit tired and sick, and said that he had a fever but that he didn't know how high. That he was gonna try and get some rest so as to be better today. Now he's hoping his breakfast will help. He's still on a saline drip (I believe).
I wish I knew more about what's going on with him, but I don't want to wear him out talking on the phone. I'm Really hoping they'll let mom visit him before she goes home, but if his floor is a ..sicker? stronger? level I don't know if they will.

I've been over at their house taking care of pets and trying to clean the place up a bit so when they get back they won't be right back into a sick environment. (Mom said when she gets back she doesn't want me in the house, but that she'd let me come around the back of house to help take Pepper (dog) out when she needs it.)

I really appreciate all the prayers and well wishes you all have given. It means a lot. Bear Hugs <3 I've also had this song playing in my head non-stop through this. It's helped keep my spirits up. Perhaps it will make someone else feel better too.

Sometimes we just need those naps! I've been taking naps when the kiddo goes down for his and apparently those are needed too.

: D and D is essentially a role-playing game, similar in ways to some of the role-playing games we have done on Subeta, like Wayward Squirrel, albeit with some major differences of course. Each game is called a "campaign" and each player takes a role within the group. Campaigns may be designed entirely by the leader of the group, much like GreenRowan does for the Wayward adventures, or campaigns may be purchased online or from a games store.

Campaigns are the written-out storylines and guidelines for each game and the players must interact with each situation that is provided by the campaign. They have a lot of freedom on what they chose to do within their role. Success or failure depends of the strengths or weaknesses of their character, and by roll of the dice.

Having a game piece isn't mandatory, it's simply a representation of the player's character within the game. Some game masters have elaborate desktop maps, complete with village set pieces, models of dungeons, etc. Our Dungeon Master has a rudimentary map drawn out on a piece of cardboard. I simply wanted a cute, 2.5 inch figure that I designed to represent my character. I haven't even painted her yet.

I have a human friend who took my design and "printed" her out for me on his 3D printer. He was curious to see how big he could print out my figurine, and so he made a monster figurine. The detail is amazing, even at that scale. I'll print pictures here:

I'll leave my little game piece with our dungeon master, the big one will stay on my desk to amuse my staff and visitors. The figurine reminds me of my role in our great civil war a while back, but I was hardly the epic figure represented by this "sculpture" I don't have a healing staff, I could never pull the string on that bow, and I don't have bewbs. Besides, I was wearing a flight jacket and a flight helmet and I had a sword and crossbow....LOL.
