anyone not having anything from free shop?? it ssays reloaded but havent seen anything since last night? anyone know has it ended or is my page just not right??

My daughters friend lost his mother to covid yesterday.He was not allowed to see her since she checked in. ANd they wont release the body!!! :( Why is this still going on????? Why can't they let you in if immediate familyh all gowned up like the staff has to be??? We are very sad and have nothing to say to him that is worth anything except sorry for your loss but that doesnt seem like enough!

I'm still finding things in the free shop, lots of times the shop is empty though. Just have to reload often.

Its tough not being able to visit people in hospital, but there are reasons. The Delta variant, for example, is more transmissible to people who are fully vaccinated and very, very dangerous to people who aren't vaccinated at all. Even with good PPE, its still risky and the more people in and out of hospitals the more chances of mistakes with the equipment. Finally, while there is not a current shortage of PPE, hospitals are aware that the supply chain is fragile and don't want to face shortages again so they are much less willing to use it up unless absolutely necessary.

i know it just breaks my heart for all those lodsing their loved ones and not be able to be there even for a minute ya know. She was on vent when she passed also. SIGH

reading something like this makes you stunned. why doesn't he get a chance to say goodbye.? ? she can't infect anyone else and it's cruel. i don't understand why in the hospitals such rules apply and outside many act as if they are alone in the world. ? something like this is simply heartless. you can't do more than protect yourself. what's the point of vaccinations, distance, disinfection if you're not even allowed to say goodbye to your loved ones? ?

I used to sit my sons on the pottie every 10-15 minutes with a toy or color book, or read a book to them. But you have to taken in each child's patience, and how busy you are. If it stresses him, your method is best. Just keep talking about how good his doing on the big boy pottie, and praise him when he gets results.

Since spring i have been watching my lime bush, re-growing. It was frozen this winter, so we had to cut it a foot off the ground. Its growing, but no limes this season. Whereas last year we got over 500 huge limes. I enjoy hearing about your harvest.

yes it horrifies me to think of one of my loved ones winding up in the hospital as they wont let visitors in. I was allowed to go into ER though with Anna the other day. I wouldnt have left without them physically removing me and me threatening lawsuit. I have now a fear of the hospital that i used to be a part of. How have YOU been tolerating life i cannot imagine your load on your heart Duane..any news with the grands??? Hope there is still a chance to get them! Keeping you in my thoughts.

you know...i think you have never seen a grown child wetting their pants and/or sucking there thumb or drinking from a sippy cup/bottle etc. As long as they are made aware of things they could be learning..they will get it..:) (((hugs on your endeavors))))

I have been going to bed earlier and earlier every night and no matter how much sleep I get, I am exhausted when I wake up and today I actually had to take a nap.

A lime tree sounds fantastic. I'm a few zones too cool for one unless I bring it in, and sadly don't have the lighting for that. One day, I dream of having a glass sunroom with heated floors and getting a dwarf lime to try my hand at.

I'm currently still picking tomatoes and okra, and my peppers are all producing heavily and should until November, but I'm putting in some fall crops and prepping for winter too. If these silly bunnies will stop eating the tops off my seedlings, I'll have lettuce and greens this winter. ;)

M will get it! It does take time, patience and finding what motivates their little minds to make the connection between accidents and the potty. But I bet he'll pick it up quick once he gets the idea. :)

I am wondering when is the last time you went in for a check up. Although maybe your sleeping for me, my sleep sucks lately.

I live in a desert area here in Texas, so surprised that limes thrive here. My Lime bush was brought in from California by the previous owner of my house, before 1992. So its well established. I have learned lime bushes do not thrive well in pots has been my experience, friends that do it wonder what my secret is. I tell them, water, full sun and in my backyard. Now a sun room could be the answer, but have one corner just dirt no pot of any sort. Some reason they just dont do good in pots its stunts them, and they dont do well. My limes make my fist look small, its just plenty of water and sun no trick to it. MMM fresh okra, I have a fresh Egyptian dish I could okra in. sneaking over to pick a few veggies I bet you have a lot to do prepping all the veggies like canning and freezing. Maybe when your out in the garden discussing really loudly how delicious bunny stew can be with vegetables. If only that is all it takes to scare of the bunnies.

That is pretty cool about the lime bush. I wouldn't have thought limes would grow well in the dessert. I'm in north central Texas and we are thinking of trying our hand at growing peach trees. Of course I still have to get the garden ready for fall too. So much to do.

i havent been on for awhile because i have a furry lil toddler in the house hahahha it is Benny my 4 month old Yorkipoo...i am wiped out trying to keep up with him! Precious!!
