Cereal then milk!

:( I am deeply saddened by your soggy cereal.

For me its both. I like my cereal as crunchy as I can get it so I only have very small amounts at a time that I can finish in 3-4 spoonfuls. At the start I usually go cereal first then milk. For the following bowls, I'll go milk then cereal because I usually have a little milk left over from the previous bowl.

And due to the effort required for this process, I don't have cereal often.

Oatmeal is an exception, its little to no milk. Eaten with a fork and knife.

I don't eat cereal much because milk upsets my stomach and non-dairy milks just don't taste as good on cereal but when I do have cereal I do cereal first :)

Hello! waves like a lunatic I finally have some downtime in my crazy busy schedule of late and this is the first random question I've answered in a while.

What goes first, cereal or milk?

Cereal! The only time milk is in the bowl before cereal is when you've finished the first bowl and are going in for a second.

Soggy......cereal O.o No, just no. Reading the edit on your post I was super confused by the "put on socks immediately after a shower" This is a thing!?!? I swear I made this face when reading that. (I had to Google that this was truly a thing that people did.)

Cereal first, always! Because then I know how much much milk to pour. If pour milk first I never get it right.

some CRAZY people put socks and clothes on immediately after a shower. horrifying. i just don't understand! i bet they'd also substitute milk for water if they were out of milk for cereal lol.

Always cereal first, then milk (then more cereal and more milk if need be) My mind is reeling from the suggestion of eating oatmeal with a fork and knife, though. Like how??? I put clothes on right out of the shower, but socks wait a while. I also drink skim milk which is basically water anyway. :D

So I like thick oatmeal! My childhood was the kind where most places serve thin, insubstantial, quasi-vomit junk. And I still swigged it down, that I not be hungry. When I had better resources to survive my own cooking, oatmeal was made to be nearly cookie dough.

This is one of my habits when it comes to eating, we have some. I just express them.

I love love love how everyone just came for me about the soggy cereal thing 😂 😂 😂 There have been some really controversial opinions and comments in this thread over the past few months but apparently soggy cereal is where fun and games end for y'all 😂 You guys are the best, thanks for calling me out on this topic, it's well deserved 😂

What is the most uncommon food you've had and do you have uncommon food-related preferences?

[I]My personal answer: [/i] I eat pickles with curry ketchup. As a snack on a regular basis. Other people dip churros in chocolate, I dip pickles in curry ketchup. And I used to put Maggi (if you don't know what it is, it's some sort of condiment like Worcestershire or maybe oyster sauce) on my sunny-side-ups. Other than that, I guess I stay rather conservative with my combinations and cravings. I'm not really fond of combining sweet and salty which is probably preventing me from getting more experimental and trying more risqué creations. When it comes to international cuisine, I can say that I really like durian, I eat stinky tofu and I used to eat escargots whenever I had the chance. Also tried crickets before and loved it because when they are roasted in spices they just tasks like chips. What I really didn't like was hundert-year egg. At first it tastes like a regular egg but then... D: [/spoiler] [Br]

I don't think I've tried anything uncommon... I almost came close to trying an Elk Burger once... but I kinda missed out cause I saw it on the menu AFTER we ate.... But I do love Venison, not uncommon but you don't often hear people mention it.

I can think of a couple of uncommon foods I've had. Sea urchin sashimi is sooooo good, I ate about a dozen in one go. I'd really recommend it. 100 year old egg is meh, not as good as salted duck egg. Its not really that old, it just looks that weird because of how its preserved.

My favourite unusual food combination is definitely dipping hot chips in soft-serve sundae or a thick shake! I like to rip up the chips in little pieces and eat it like cereal... my version of cereal 😂
