I use to love to make friendship bracelets, and was always looking up new patterns. I also like latch hooking.
Not really. I tried to do cooking ones... like homemade soups and biscuits. I'm not very good at it.
Hmm not very often. I will draw gifts for people or fold a piece of bristol paper in half and draw a card for them. I also did a painting earlier this year during the start of quarantine and hung it up in my bathroom. But no, most of my diys are gifts because I'm too broke to buy things XD
[tot=Missriah]
Nope! My ass be lazy! I'll occaaaasionally draw a card for someone, but that's about it. I'm not very crafty or good with my hands or whatever. My talent is with words.
Do you do DIY projects?
Yes (and sometimes I wish I didn't) I'm a broke home-owner so I YouTube or Google a lot of DIY fixes around the place. Aside from those I love giving old furniture a facelift or a new purpose. Before I get rid of things I always try to recycle/reuse it somewhere else. I especially love doing things that give me more functional storage. Pinterest is my greatest treasure yet also the bane of my existence as I have a project list a mile long.
On the crafty side of things, this year all of my family will be receiving cross-stitched gifts for Christmas. Crocheting is my next skill to learn.
My current DIY projects if you're interested
I turned an old dresser into an entertainment stand - painted it, took out the drawers, broke the drawers (the bottoms are the shelves inside and the fronts are wall decoration in my kitchen) filled the slots with baskets to store things, and just need to cut out a hole in the top two slots to put cords through so all of my cable boxes and such can go there with no cords showing. (and buy better baskets cause the ones I bought are sadly too short so they will be used somewhere else soon)
I found an old coffee table in my aunt's garage with a glass top - I've stripped it, sanded it, stained it (TARDIS Blue!), drilled holes for knobs in the draws. I still need to paint "Wibbly, Wobbly, Timey, Wimey" on each side around the glass and seal the table, then I'm debating about leaving the glass as is or ink-burning it. (Colored wood stain can be a tad bit expensive and a cheaper alternative is buying cheap paint and mixing 2 parts water to 1 part paint and you have a pretty colored stain!)
My mom brought me a neat wood crate from her work that was being trashed because it was simply the box the item they were selling came in. Some piano hinges, feet, and a nice coat of paint and I will have a lovely little bench seat for my window with storage!
Next Project on the list - painting and updating my kitchen cabinets with glass inserts (after the holidays, cause I needs my kitchen)
yes! next in fashion was so good. sloths are my favorite animal. they are so cute. please watch this video
also porridge is NOT soggy oats. isn't it blended? or it's a lot smaller lol.
Yes, I make little teddy bears, silk painting and napkin decoupage and I try to make new paper adornments for the windows each season. I love the winter ones especially.

At this time I'm dismantling a Mazda 4 cylinder engine on cue with my shop assignments. Most of my DIY is automotive or home maintenance.
Do you do DIY projects?
I want to start, but at the moment, no.
I'm going to customize some old clothes but I still haven't gathered the material :(
Hmm, it seems my efforts to dismantle my engine have ground to a halt. The cylinder head is held down with hex socket bolts, while the crankshaft has a splash guard that is held with what I think are spline bolts. I don't have immediate access to either tools, so I want to ask the shop instructor about bringing it in for instructional purposes.
Today's question:
My personal answer: [Item=Spirit Photography Cracked Lens] The colour scheme is right up my alley!
I'm reaaaally excited for the second wave though! I'll be a bit more active now and try to get to answering to your replies today. Last weekend+Monday was... wild. But now after getting 13 hours of sleep, I am ready to take on Morostide 🎃
