I’m just laughing at this point. How was there no backup for FOUR MONTHS? This is the website I’m dumping my money into? I’ve been here almost 10 years and have put up with a lot, but this takes the cake. I’ve been pissed about it all day and I’ll probably continue to be pissed since I doubt this will be handled properly, like literally everything else on this site. And y’all are still asking us to do the work for you by combing through thousands of items to determine what was deleted? Really don’t care if it’s optional to report an item or not, we have literally N O T H I N G to do with this and we shouldn’t be asked to help fix it. Especially not for 10 dollars LMFAO

I'm putting this here because I don't want ANYONE thinking that the people who found out in the AMPLE amount of time before there was an official news post are as positive about this as some of the comments here. You shouldn't be grateful. You should be shocked, angry, and demanding immediate change.

edit: i'm not updating this anymore - it was way too much to try to keep going back and forth and figure out how things were arranged in drawers etc. i really hope staff has a full-ish listing of stuff that went poof. i appreciate the work they're doing to restore already

Here's my missing items so far:

Missing Items Wishlist List because it's easier and won't additionally stretch the page.

According to the organize items page, I have 23,587 items in my wardrobe. According to my pretty well-maintained lists on SL (Wardrobe + CWs), I should have 23,670. It's a difference of 83* items (forgot to count the cws I'd moved to a separate WL). I've found 50 so far but like...it's literally been 3 hours since I started checking and it's almost 3am now. I spent 3 hours last night and upwards of 3 hours today and I'm still unsure on 33* of my missing items. I don't have time to keep doing this today so I guess I'll try to suss out the missing 33* out of my 20k+ tomorrow. Everything in my drawers (CWs, Private CWs, and Subeautique) is now checked out but the unsorted category is a lot to go through. ((Updating the count on what I've found to be missing as well as total item counts if I add things to my wardrobe so that it remains accurate))

I am going to post my missing CWs though since this is a real money situation:

I understand the situation is currently 'under control' and staff is actively working on this, and for that I'm feeling slightly less mad, however...

You guys have to start taking news posts more seriously. I understand the need to keep the majority of subeta 'calm' over such a serious mistake on your part, but waiting almost 24 hours to make a news post about this is laughable and unprofessional. Your user base should not be the ones sending out the bat signal. =/

I honestly am completely beyond myself at this point. Staff wants us to pour money into this site, or work to earn it money so it can keep up, and yet it constantly ignores or flat out crashes what we're putting our hard earned money and time into. How are users supposed to have the confidence to invest in this website's future when we're constantly met with negligence all around?

When I'm less shit and having an easier time with dealing with my depression + completely not being able to leave my home then I'll try to look through my CWs and not stress myself back into another state. JFC.

So if I'm getting this straight, we are getting both 1k csc AND the items we lost in the span of 4 months that were deleted? Or am I missing something here because others are making it sound like we won't be getting those items back and if we aren't that's really fucking not okay because my partner who owns over 300 cw's informed me of some she lost that were gifts I bought her and those were easily over 1k csc value. While i'm finally happy that we got an update over the situation, it was almost 18 hours past the original adminpost and many people are still really upset that it took a long time for even one staff member to address concerns for the community.

Wow... I didn't realize something that bad had happened until I got the announcement. I know there would be times I'd move an item from my Wardrobe to one of my galleries (for safe keeping when I wasn't using it) because I never knew when I'd get back onto the Wardrobe with the lag and stuff (and sometimes not being able to get into said gallery to get it back out, that is), but knowing people's wardrobe items got deleted by a glitch that happened just four months ago? Yikes!

Now, I haven't spent that much on CSC to get items from the CW shops (I do that only every now and then when the CW Pawn Shop is active or after I've accumulated enough CSC from either the Bathhouse or the Free CSC Morty Cards (which believe me, takes FOREVER to do), but I can understand how users feel that have spend a lot of actual cash on this site.

Hopefully, this gets fixed soon, but just in case, I'm looking to make sure some items I really like to use in my wardrobe are still there to use when I'm ready to use them again.

Correct. The missing items themselves are still being worked on, and the 1000 CSC is in addition to whatever else ends up being done [edit] The glitch itself didn't span 4 months though. The glitch lasted a couple of days

besides the suggestion of a list of missing items given HERE, I'd like to point that it'd be very useful if staff create a new tier in the wardrobe achievement with a ridiculous amount, like 50 or 100k items, so even if we achieved the last tier we can see the amount of items we had before (since I believe that count is of the highest number of items you had in the WR at once), it'd at least make it more accountable.

I already re-bought some of the items I was missing, idk if that makes any difference.

People are getting their items back, the 1k csc is a "Sorry, we fucked up!" bonus from staff.

Can we just go back to the old wardrobe for a while? I can't even get the new one to load to see if I'm remotely missing anything.

I added 15,000 items to my wardrobe to get the achievement within the last year and I finished it all last night. I got the achievement, but if it's no longer highlighted when I check, then I'll be really mad. I've already started my account purge.

And look... the site is having TONS of errors right now.

The new wardrobe SHOULD'VE waited until there were no site events (ie: Holidays)

TIL that people love to remove items from their wardrobe and don't just hoard everything like me.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but the news post mentioned if anyone removed an item from their wardrobe, then everyone's item in their wardrobe went poof. I'm assuming this happens even if the others do not use the wardrobe, but their item is in there.
