How is this worse than the "rollback"? Here, people lost (somewhat) a handful of items from their wardrobes, and with the rollback basically the whole site had to be reset and people lost EVERYTHING. So how is this worse?

Now to those complaining that "omg, this is the worst thing ever!". I'm gonna say the same thing that people said to me after the rollback and after someone found out my password several years back and put ALL of my pets in the adoption center. It's only pixels.

The new wardrobe has 1688 item entries, my achievements page+the old organize page says 1647... 41 items?? I assume the discrepancy is due to the ornaments but godddd.

Thanks to the community I've already found 6 items I'm abruptly missing, and I have no idea how many more. My SubetaLodge is very outdated.

Yelling won't solve anything but I just... I feel sick. After a long week of work in the middle of the global crisis I just wanted to come home and have fun but,,, so much for that. edit// idk if ppl were responding to me re: "yes being angry will solve things" but i'm mostly saying that me yelling, personally, when others already have, is pointless. i'm a tired adult who's been working overtime thanks to covid-19. i don't have the energy to be anything more than hurt and defeated rn thanks

Uh being angry won't change anything is nonsense. A massive rollout was pushed out without checking to see if a proper backup was done and items were deleted from accounts with no real means of knowing the extent of what was lost.

Will being angry about it solve anything? Actually, yeah. It will. It could easily be the last straw for someone who actually funds the site. That whole protest/vote with your dollar thing, is usually fueled by being fed up. Subeta can't afford that, so being vocal about anger and frustration is justifiable and it's the step before taking your money elsewhere; it's a red flag. I did that along time ago, as a pet/OC person on an avatar site my money isn't welcomed here so I can very much say been there done that, and yeah I don't do wearables but I take offense to the notion that people lost things and are just supposed to be chill about it.

I appreciate staff owned it and are trying to fix it but at this point I'm just wondering if they'll be able to recover from this considering CWs are the only reason the site still exists.

The fact that I can't even access any of the wardrobes on mobile to even attempt and see the damage just makes me so, so much more happy about the whole thing. last week I nabbed some old, expensive collection items from the chance machine and I can't even see if they're there anymore. let alone any of the other extremely expensive items I'd amassed. And people have reported missing even the legendary equipments too so that's even more great. :)))))))

If we din't touch the new wardrobe.. or taken out any item out.. Could we still be missing items?

Thank you for informing us about this. Should we avoid adding new items to our wardrobes for the time being? I trust they won't disappear on us now that you've fixed the error, but will it make the recovery process more complicated?

The glitch itself is fixed. You can use your wardrobe

Yes, if anyone took X item out of their wardrobe during the window where this was happening, then it got deleted from everyone's account who owned it (or at least, several people's accounts who owned them. There are a few items missing from some people but not everyone, but tl;dr yes)

( if it makes you feel any better, I think the person who posted about missing legendary weapons was just joking in response to being told that items would be returned by the honor system.)

Thank you for making this announcement, it just gives more fuel to the fire of the adage "screenshot everything". Too bad I'm just too lazy to do that regularly. No doubt for the next few weeks I will be trying to cross reference what items I lost and see if I can replace them on my own. Here's hoping no one deleted any obscure plot wearable that no one else is looking for right now, but instead someone is trying to make a master list of all that was lost in the "Purge". And even if at the end of the day we lost a lot of history in the glitch, it's still just a digital game. No lives lost, just imaginary trophies for a nonexistent shelf.

Still though, is anyone making a master list right now?

TY to those mentioning comparing the old wardrobe to the new - I now know I am missing 70 items. If the two want to load for me I should hopefully be able to get the exact ones this way.

oh. no. i bought a ton of rare items since around christmas from the cash shop, millionare center, skitters, and subutique. ...stress levels rising... i'd been saving my currency for a long long time for all of that stuff.. maybe its all the stress from everything else, but i might cry

I barely take items, so with the old back up and a achievements and presents logs and stuff, I should recreate a fairly accurate list of what my wardrobe should look like today. Would it help if I provide you guys that info?

Also if it makes anyone feel better, I don't think expensive sP items get pulled from wardrobes all that often compared to the cheap ones (cleared out/used for quests) or CWs (sold/pawned because of events running) so like, I guess it's possible that there are a bunch of high-valued items missing that no one has remembered/noticed yet, but I do honestly think there are probably not as many of those missing (especially if people clear out their wardrobes even remotely similar to how I do lol)

I'm managing to feel concerned that I can't find anything missing o_o I used my achievement page to track what my recent highscore for clothes was, and had compared that to the Organize Items count, and both numbers correlated till I removed some items (via account search) myself. All my CWs are accounted for too. I hope that means all is well for me then. o.o

I'll still keep a paranoid eye out, but I can't find anything missing through the items I've checked through my offsite lists either.

I appreciate staff fixing this glitch and doing their best to help everyone with this issue. :)

EDIT2: Never mind not finding anything missing in my wardrobe, the offsite list a user made seems to confirm that there are actually items missing from my wardrobe.. Guess I'll need to do a more thorough search.
