hello friends! i return to beg for advice against this annoying menace of a challenger - my smol t7 battle pet has been struggling against it.

my strategy has been to blast first turn (soma tablets + recycle blaster), then i just spam fruit bone dagger + broodmother talon while hiding behind cobalt eternal scrolls and phoenix quill when necessary.

is there a better (preferably budget) item combination than i could be using? and is there anything of my strategy that could be improved?

think i might be able to cheese the last two wins with negating pylonic and luck but wanted to check in on my strategy before playing RNG simulator, lol.

Wohoo! I did my 30 battle quests for the first time in months O.o I've been able to save up some SP lately. Now that it's fall, is it worth it to buy ? I've got , and as ice blockers. So I'm wondering whether it's worth the price tag. I'm wondering in which cases the Blade of the Bonfire would be better than the Syringe. Syringe seems to do a bit more damage and consistently blocks ice and magma, while the blade is a bit more random in blocking ice or physical. I guess it depends on the opponent? But purely for the ice block, the Syringe seems to be the more consistent option?

I would stick with the syringe personally.

anyone who blocks freezing and stealing is a pain to deal with. You're pretty much using the best available options, so sadly you're going to have to play with the RNG for the last couple of wins. You're using a bunch of wind damage so you could try modding your talon and dagger with wind crystals to squeeze out a bit more damage, maybe try a Regenerating Pylonic for a bit of a stat boost too?

do you have the other MC weapons already? I honestly really like BOTB and it’s come in handy a lot but since it’s a two icon blocker it can be really niche. But whenever an opponent deals both ice and physical it’s come in super handy (for example LOTW from the last event)

Personally I’d probably pick up Natasha and OHS before this one.

The rest of this wave is too small to bother with for most my pets. Except for the Tier 5 who got her 10 wins.

I love seeing everyone's posts about working through event challengers, it warms my (cold, dead) heart. It's always interesting to me to see how people do it, whether they fight every challenger with every pet who can beat them, or whether they ignore the littles and focus on the big bads.

Run through everyone with my top two battlers. Five amulets, zero tomes, Mage is a jerk as usual. Numair's now only about 50 points off tier 10, I'll probably buy some tomes to push him over the threshold.

Will probably try the next two or three pets down with some of the challengers eventually but not today.
