Aw, the colors aren't absolutely horrible on your Banescales, but not great either. Sad to see. :/ The pink eye color does really stick out...which is one reason against Arcane for me, haha.

I went and created an account and have an egg, but unsure about what all these 'hatcheries' are. They're offsite to give clicks or something? And low investment sounds perfect for me right now, haha. PS Those scrys of Colorful's Banescales are lovely!

Thanks, I tried haha. Getting pink eyes on both was really the worst of it; I think everything else can be worked with. It's just a matter of personal taste then about what colors look nice.
Off-topic Dragon Cave stuff
Yep, they're essentially fansites that offer a bunch of tools to help you with DC. The one I use is Allure of Neglected Dragons. (Neglected Dragons are a type that can be created by depriving them of views until the last minute; it's an advanced part of the game that even I haven't bothered with yet. But the hatchery works fine for raising normal dragons.) Just plug your scroll name in there and you can add your eggs for views. I would suggest not doing it until your eggs are like a day old, or they might get too many views too fast and become sick. Once you raise a few you'll get the hang of it and see how easy it is with hatcheries. Trying to raise dragons by only posting eggs in signatures on various sites is a lost cause, in my opinion...unless you are somehow active on a great many forum sites that are highly-trafficked and that allow that sort of thing...I don't think such sites even exist anymore. They just need too many views for that. Anyway, eggs and hatchies need views (they don't really need clicks but they're helpful I guess...many of mine grow up with only one click on them, from me) but once they become adults, they no longer need any care (except that if you don't log into your account within some span of time, like six months or a year or something, you may lose your names...but they will never die unless you give them "inappropriate names" and the site removes your dragons or scroll).
I think that's about all you need to know to get started...basically, just stick 'em in a hatchery and keep an eye on them until they are grown to make sure they aren't getting sick from too many views. If you get holiday or prize dragons, the risk of receiving too many views can be higher, so keep a closer eye on those. If they do get sick, you can "fog" them to prevent them from getting more views until you unfog them, and they'll probably recover on their own shortly.

Luckily the eyes aren't as bad once they are adults because they get so small XD I really love your gene combos too :O It's going to be a hard choice on what I will eventually do with them. And I'm sure it will cost a fortune too facepalm I better get to saving cries a little LOL!

Yeah, I think the purple/brown one would be pretty expensive the way I scried him (and really, no matter what you do, genes are expensive), so if you don't absolutely love it, maybe just sell. X'D

Sorry, I have no idea what the market is like for them, I haven't even looked them up on the AH yet. I'm trying to stop doing that in general so I can focus on saving room for eggs now, especially with NotN coming up.
