Yeah that was a ride. I'm not one to jump on the growing bandwagon of "WHY U OFFENDED PEOPLE ARE OFFENDED BY EVERYTHING" but "plants are good and it's what I prefer" =/= death to meat eaters.

I personally saw nothing wrong with the vegan theme as I don't recall it being forced onto anyone or making non-vegans feel guilty. In fact, someone else suggested that maybe they could include other diet choices as well (Vegetarianism, pescatarianism, and limits in diets caused by various health conditions). But I never really cared for Alegarten or Neugarten anyway because there's not much to it beyond buying items, there's not really any activities. I mean, Keel Hauliday is similar, but at least then you can fight the pirates if you want to, and you can get the items from Carl if you can't get them in the shop. I am hoping that this year's Neugarten will have a plot to it after what happened at the end of it last year, and that might get me and other users more interested.

I don't like Neugarten because we used to get a relatively unique summer event thing every year...and now it's just gonna be the same old same old vegan food theme. Can we at least get the peka boo stuff back this year? We got the trucks back last year but none of the wearables

Even as an old player who saw that the site has gotten better, I feel like it's kind of sad that subeta still dies reliably during holidays. Maybe next year things will be better once they finish rolling out the new dance/etc systems (I expect ToT will be revamped to the new system as well)

The Forum Aboxalypse is flooding the Masquerade section with spammy threads and derailing the economy at the same time.

I'm finding it hard to look in those forums too, there's just too much scrolling through similarly named threads.

I don't know if the staff are still planning to make some threads by NPCs now or not since there's not much weekend left. I hope they still do to try and reduce the farming threads.

I hope the NPCs will swing by as well.

I think the forum boxes would ideally be a fun concept, but with the way it's executed right now, I'm not a fan of them. The duration could have been longer, so they don't need to increase drop chances which triggers a gold rush of spamming. I think they could add other things like a small amount of currency instead of torpedoing the value of rares and cash shop items. Dancing is monotonous enough right now, and I don't want another boring activity of posting 'boxes' repeatedly on top of it.

Manual restocking for the gift-boxes isn't fair for people in other timezones.

My unpopular opinion is that I don't like how we're getting so many pet releases. It's not because I dislike the pets (I think the Blobs and Scootles are adorable) but the rate that we get new pet colors has been slowed to a crawl. I think that most new pet species only have the "basic" colors and a handful of non-basics.

Like the Urubu got released, but in that timeframe we only got 2 Scootle colors (Scribble and Nostalgic). I really want a Scootle, but none of the current Scootle colors appeal to me.

Plus Subeta has a giant variety of pets, I don't know why they feel like they need to release even more when they can still work on other colors for existing pets.

Basically what I'm saying is let me see a Sweetheart Scootle lol

i dunno why but i find the battle coliseum just... boring and tedious.

1. i feel like the armory needs a HUGE revamp to be more intuitive and user-friendly. like, if items could be divided into categories by their function (infinite use, one time only, one time per battle, healing, etc.) and display their statistics off the bat, it'd be a lot easier to build sets

2. the battles themselves aren't dynamic at all. i'm not expecting full graphics or anything but the interface could use some polishing

I would love for there to be a sort or view by tier option, it would be so helpful. I don't know if anyone has suggested it already or not though.

-I'm not even vegan (or vegetarian) and I didn't think the Neugarten vegan change/items were a big deal...I didn't feel guilty for eating meat.

-I don't like the Urubus (the pig species) at all

-I'm so tired of all the CWs looking like they're out of some anime. Sparkly, oddly colored (pink, sky blue, green) etc. Whereas I still struggle to find more than one or two styles of natural hair for either men or women. Don't even get me started on trying to find good armor that doesn't look like I'm playing a female on any video game. A cut in the armor to show off the cleavage- really? God forbid I'm dressed in armor that actually protects me from head to toe - but hey, whatever.

-I don't like Graveyard pets at all. :( I just can't find any that I like...

My unpopular opinion is...I really don't like the Nostalgic Keeto. I was so hyped for that species/color combo only for it to be...a Tamagotchi. Disappoint :(

Hmm... I haven’t been very active on Subeta for the last year, but I’ve been lurking around. I’m not too sure if my opinions count as unpopular, but, here’s what I got:

-A lot has already been said about CWs. To add my two cents: There’s so many wonderful CWs, but they’re so difficult to obtain for reasons that I believe could have been prevented. The way the whole CW market is set up only benefits a minority of users. For people like me, who are not artists, busy IRL, not part of a small circle of users, and/or don’t have much energy to be online, it feels like buying a CW I really want is nearly impossible. I just have to be extremely lucky in that I’ll find an item I want in a shop for a reasonable price.

As for privates, I can understand why they exist, but the fact they (and CWs in general) cause so much drama makes me not want to get more involved in the market. It’s gotten to the point where I don’t even feel comfortable slotting on a thread, and it makes me wonder how many people, potential customers, are in the same boat.

-I don’t like Survival at all. While I collect zombie skins just because I like having more wardrobe options that I never use, I have to wade through options that make me physically ill. Sure, I can ignore the zombie half, but, it’s part of the holiday, so there’s no way to completely avoid it if I only wanted to participate in the other half.

Speaking of the other half, I feel like I’m the only one who’s off-put by the fact we kiss users in order to get candy hearts. I know it’s just a game mechanic and has some lore behind it, but it makes me very uncomfortable. I kind of wish there was an alternative to kissing available, like hugging.

-I don’t like the whole gifting aspect of Luminaire. It just feels like it’s an unnecessary obligation to participate in Secret Santa events or similar events so I appear to be in the spirit of it all. I know this is 100% a “me” problem, but I want people to know that this opinion does exist.

While I’m very thankful staff added an option to prevent users from leaving gifts under my tree, I felt like I couldn’t use it, because I didn’t want anyone to see me as a terrible person who wants to ruin the holiday.

-I like the Shoutbox, though I haven’t talked on there in about a year. I’ve met very nice people on there and I’ve had a lot of fun, and sometimes insightful, conversations. Yes, there’s drama at times and I have ran into some insensitive people, but, I always have the choice to leave if I don’t want to be part of it.

I'm fine with Survival. I like the zombie stages we've been getting recently; it's interesting to watch the progress and see how users adapt to dressing their changing HAs. But I'm meh with many of the non-wearable Parlour items. The Zombie Den items are even worse.

But girl, you wouldn't have liked one of the strains from this year. The first few stages were flat out disturbing.

Other opinions:

• I like the shoutbox as well, more comfortable there than on the forums.
• I'm meh when it comes to sweetheart pets. Sure some are really cute, but the color doesn't click as well as other colors for me.
• I'm not the biggest fan of riftborn pets. The ontra is my favorite followed by the urubu(?), but overall looking at riftborn pets gives me a headache.

I think the only thing that really bothers me at this point is how they removed the CW pawn shop except for holidays. I loved browsing through it and a lot of my CWs came from there. :c Like, I REALLY get salty about it being gone.

LMFAO that's the only nostalgic pet I actually like, and the noktoa because my best friend made me a little owl plush that looks just like it.

I guess this might be an unpopular opinion, but I don't like the revamp of the Angelic Archan. Why? Because they got rid of the open eyes. It looks like its incomplete. I'm sure it's not a reference to Pygar the blind angel in Barbarella. The closed eyes on the Storm Archan makes sense because of it roaring. Closed eyes on the Angelic Archan, while it's flying or running, doesn't, and I expect it to crash into a tree. I guess I should request a revamp of the pet, but I hope they can get an artist who can draw on the eyes.

I feel the same about the kitsunes of the Red and Black Rosaries. Why are the eyes closed like they are blind? Please revamp the kitsunes by finding someone who can draw on their eyes. Maybe hire a user that can do the job.

pfft well I'm not saying it's a bad design, just that I was hoping for more of a 19th century vibe, not... 1997 lol

Unpopular Opinion:

• The old Montre style was way nicer than current one. It had a better head shape and I prefer the hunch over the puffed up chest.
• I don't really like Rift pets. Poor things got thrown in there and their eyes & teeth are all over the place :<
• Blobs are cute & creative but overrated. Also feel other pets should be focused on for reworking
• Zentu has too much hair? LOL it even has pit hair?? xD

90% of the CW hairstyles are the ugliest items on site. LMAO!
