for my jelly bean entry i decided to attempt a 1910s themed HA incorporating my favorite jelly bean flavors, Orange Sherbet and Honey. I went with a shorter hair style, a big hat, and an elegant gown in a background featuring a country looking shindig.

Yeah, wish I could do more around here at the moment, but because of my travel I don't have access to a computer.

I'm traveling for pleasure, actually! I just finished moving out of my house in Belgium, so now before I go back to the States, I'm making one last hurrah and taking a trip to Scotland. It's been very enjoyable! Yesterday I drove through the Yorkshire Dales and saw the fields and all the lambs (they were so cute). ^^

Oh yes, I have no doubt there'll be more wonderful contests. I'm hoping to just do the Garden one in time, because I have a great idea for that one, I just need to put it into writing.

Picnic Party

April 23rd is not only World Book Day, it is a day for everyone to enjoy a meal outside. It is National Picnic Day, too!

There are a variety of ways to take part in a picnic. This meal hearkens back to mid-18th-century al fresco French dining when all you needed was a bottle of wine, a loaf of bread, some cheese and fruit and you could have a party under the sky.

From the French for "piquenique", picnic means a small meal eaten outdoors.

Picnic is a state of mind. It’s a relaxing state of zen you can only get from vegging out with some good food and even more fantastic friends. Just thinking about it makes us happy. So rain or shine, you better be picnicking this April 23. If the weather does not cooperate at all, have a picnic in your home on the living room floor!

Outfit Not Found ahaha tbh the items in my basket would be just food and perhaps some snacks :p also it will contain toys for my puppy 😆 Oh, i will also have eating utensils packed ^_^ I rarely went on a picnic nor have I ever packed one so I don’t know hahaha. Outfit Not Found Really had fun with this one :D used the vanity item that was on my wl :O What is in my basket you ask? Whatever food whoever is with me likes. All kinds of things, sandwiches, sweets, lasagna anything! also when it is opened joy and happiness is spread to all those that are around ^^ it also has lots of fluffy animals in it. Cats, dogs and kittens all loving animals that love to be cuddled! The basket has whatever they would like to eat in it too, so everyone stays happy. It is almost like limi all stuffed into a basket! All your favorite people that you didn't think could make it magically come out of the basket as well. Lots of board games and game systems are also in the basket so that everyone that is not nature inclined also enjoys being outside with friends, animals, food and nature Thank you for the prize from the jelly bean party those were on my wl :D

In my picnic basket (with so many foods I can't eat, and others that would not do well in a picnic, I was choosy):

Fresh tasty pomelos and oranges

assorted flavor of rice cakes (mmm, caraway)

Regular ice cream would melt, but I can bring astronaut ice cream:

And for a veggie, celery with peanut butter sounds good!

Private Outfit

What would be inside my picnic... Probably an amazing latte, (in my hand, not in the bag, obvs...) plus some bakery treats alongside. That's if I'm picnicking alone, anyway. If it's the hubby and I, everything would be completely different. We have an amazing picnic basket with two separate insulated sections, so we can bring hot food and cold beverages, plus it has wineglasses, silverware, etc. Last time we went, we took pasta with cream sauce, cold white wine, iced coffee, chicken, and grapes. :P
