I started going grey when I was 21 and I did blue in my 30s--it looked black, but the silver strands were metallic blue and when the light hit it, it was VERY blue.

I was shades of black for many years and then after I hit 50% grey I started out dark blue/purple and worked my way down through dark reds and purples and browns until I got to purple and pink browns, then the last pink brown I did was with a very high-lifting Japanese pink brown (Palty) that bleached most of the colour out of my remaining dark hair. Since then I've been using Feria Rose Gold and/or Feria Smokey Pink.

Feria boxes say not to use it on grey hair but this is a big fat lie. It looks good! I get compliments a lot. It's just that it doesn't look 'natural'. Creamy greys look warmer, and the bright silver ones take on a metallic tone. But if you have blue, pink or purple hair, you obviously do not care about that anyway, right?

However, do NOT use Palty if your hair is not dark before you start. I found out after I used it that it's meant to be a single process application for Japanese women with natural hair, it's designed to simultaneously bleach and dye black or dark brown hair, and it will come out much lighter than the picture if your hair is light brown, blonde, grey/cream/silver or white already.

It's hard to make yourself! But here's 'me'! Tried to recreate one of my favourite outfits (until it got so damn hot) Private Outfit I'm a huge hat person so I'm always in a beret. I'm pretty sad that it's too warm for them now. Need to get some summery hats!

That´s me in the garden with the cats. Blue-grey eyes, fair complexion, long dark blonde hair with honey-colored highlights, slightly wavy. I wear it like this or blow dry it and straighten them or curl them with a GHD conical curler so the locks don´t look like a hairdressers masterpiece yet a bit more messy, LOL, or beach style. Bangs, I would feel naked without them, LOL. And always smiling, that´s me. I love life and people and interactions yet you already know that. ^-^ Btw, we really have this big pond in the garden and some big trees left, some others were felled by the storms in the last years, alas.

That´s me in the practice, waiting for the next kid to arrive with my anatomy teddy bear. I am a naturopathic practitioner, mainly working with homeopathy, acupuncture and autohemotherapy. I treat adults, too, yet since I was a pediatric nurse back in the first years of my professional carreer, I have a lot of kids coming in. I seldom wear a white coat, though, only when really messy things have to be done. Kids and even adults are easily scared by a white coat. I have to put my hair up then for the day when working with more invasive therapies.

And that´s mini-me teaching in the weekends and every other Saturday. I am teaching anatomy, physiology and pathology, also law and examination. It´s very interesting and a lot of fun. My students have written exams in March and October and oral ones 1 - 5 months afterwards so that´s always a busy time for me yet I love this time especially, seeing them pass the exams is very rewarding.

Only an infection yet he was hit very hard with obstructive bronchitis, otitis with effusion and he doesn´t hear a thing with his right ear. Bad, yet it adds up that he is a male, LOL, you know how they are when sick (often, certainly not all men. Yet mine.)

Oh, not a pleasant combination! It always seems like everything in your body goes wrong when you get sick. x)

I haven't had jelly beans in a while but we don't have nearly as many fancy flavours here as at the site you linked. XD I'm partial to orange, red, pink and white jelly beans - I love citrus, berry? and the milky flavour of the white ones! I hate the black ones though (liquorice is not for me) and usually don't eat purple ones either.

So many awesome Bertie Bott's beans - I'm sure I'd love marmalade, mint, mashed potatoes (yay for m's) aaand prawn for kicks!

Sorry guys, I won't be able to participate for a few days yet :( My husband had emergency brain surgery on Thursday, but he's home and recuperating now. I'm sad I missed the Doppelganger contest!
