I've helped my girlfriend make some comics for a class. She was allowed to get outside help for it, so I did the illustrations and she wrote out the plot. Have you read any good comic guides? I started Stan Lee's and found it not very helpful for learning how to write comics, but more helpful in the composition aspect.
GAs are a must! I'll sometimes get a year GA for a "spoil" myself bday gift, but only if I have some extra funds laying aroun.
I was the same way too when I first started on here, I'd put on only one layer, but with practice and a lot of trying out different items together, you'll get the hang of it and find what works best for your HA :D

You would be surprised how many layers are on my face. lol But as you speak of layering, with clothing, foregrounds etc.... I'm so so beyond bad at it. I don't want it to look like overkill, gawdy, excessive, too much. But I see all of your pretty and creative HAs on here with layered clothes and I can't find a balance. Like my background will be "busy" so I feel only 1 plain dress I should use to counter balance because people must know where to focus their eye. Does that make sense?
As for my heart surgeries; the first one was an emergency so no time for the zipper. They went in my groin and threaded 3 stents in my left anterior descending artery. I died on the table on that one. The 2nd one was also an angioplasty and it was more exploratory to see why I was having ongoing chest pains. Yes, I saw many precious people there holding a heart pillow to their chests. I wanted to hug them all and cook for them but I tell you, I couldn't even bathe myself. I was so weak that my husband had to do it for me. The medications I was put on make you dizzy.
You should only be worried about bleeding out if you're on warfarin (rat poison) or xarelto (I think that is the name, it's been out for about 4-5 years or so).
I'm half-asleep so for all I know, I could be giving you names of allergy medications. But I hope you understand.

Sadly, it rained all day yesterday so we couldn´t visit the park lightening and today we have the wind gusts. Shards. Perhaps we find a way to visit the cave later, if not, next weekend.

Thanks! ❤️ She's my coffee-themed pet and I read her food-based books. I am! I always like the events. I guess this one does look theatrical and Masq-ready. I have a few HAs saved from last year that I'll reuse, and I made a new one the other day just in case I don't get a chance to make new ones. How about you?
My challenge is to have another outfit every day of the event! I have some stored up from last year, around ten, yet will make new ones this year, too. I worked on number 3 when I discovered that I have to install some more drawers first, puuuh, tedious task! :-)
That's very awesome! That's a cool goal. Is that usually like 14 avatars? I tried to organize drawers before but also get bored of it haha.
Yes, 14 should it be. I had 14 from last year or even more yet sold some stuff and deleted the avas I didn´t like too much. I discovered that hair has to be in drawers or it takes ages to find the right color and style.
@ Lizbet @ Merlot I agree that's the fun, trying out so many items and seeing what looks good together.
I can't stop myself continuing to make more and more of them! That's why I like joining the contests too...
Only a couple months ago I finally had enough items in my wardrobe that it was difficult to find things I knew I had, so I made drawers. The ones I use most are: lip makeup (contains almost all mouth items), eye makeup (same for eye items plus lashes, brows, eyeshadow), hairstyles, head worn items (everything that goes on the head that isn't a hat or a hairstyle - ribbon, headband, hair flower, bow, etc), jewelry, and skin coloring (blush, freckles, other body or face items that change skin tone, tattoos). Also very useful drawers: ground items (floor, grass, etc - lower half backgrounds, mainly) and short skirts (surprisingly hard to find just looking at bottom layer).
I made a couple drawers that will be very handy for masquerade: Masks and Gowns.
There's a few drawers I made that I don't use too often but have been maintaining: body parts (tail, ear, horn, wing, hoofs, hand claws, etc) and glasses.... I haven't yet found much use for drawers to put shirts or shoes in though. Just not sure what categories are most useful for them.
