Quite fittingly, on Women's Day, the youth group i oversee finished the redecorating for the Womens Refuge. It was badly outdated, proper 70s carpet, horrific psychedelic wallpaper xD So over the space of 6-weeks, we gave them a budget and a goal, get it done by womens day, make it light, airy and open plan. A team of 4 young women and 5 young men worked relentlessly, by the 3rd week, every one of them was in the refuge every day from 9am-5pm painting, cleaning, freshening up! It was lovely to see. One of the girls is a keen seamstress, so she ended up making new upholstery for the communal lounge, and reupholstered the ottoman, and hung new curtains. Something she would never have had the confidence to do before coming to MOMU (Moving On, Moving Up). One of the boys is doing carpentry at college, and when he wasn't studying, he was fixing odds and ends and making new tables, extend the counter here, plane the door there.
They were amazing, and the Womens Refuge is now far more inviting!

Oh, so so very glad to hear that doggie is keeping food down. My concern is kennel cough. If doggie coughs more than 4 days out of the vet/kennel, you must take him back.
You poor dear!! All of those surgeries, my goodness you are brave. We do what we have to do. I certainly didn't want 2 heart surgeries but we have to do what we have to do.
Yes, I'm concerned as well with who ever intubated you. They can get very careless. Maybe consider somewhere else for anything you may need done in the future, honey. <3 My friend who was born with a mild but still disabling case of multiple sclerosis had to be intubated and they warned her that her teeth could be knocked out. Sure enough, they knocked both her front teeth out. :,( It was almost as if they were telling her, "We ARE going to knock your teeth out." The hospital we have hear has many claims against them.

I don't understand anything at all about raffles here or elsewhere that you run. Is there something in particular that I must do? I understand when you have a nuclear themed HA contest but that is all I understand. I'm sorry. feels embarrassed

Your HA has a very sweet look to it, love! <3 I think it would benefit a little bit from layering the face items to look even more beautiful. It´s something which took me ages to figure out, it´s not easy to do and needs practice. Very often, Subeta released items and I thought: Ugh, they are ugly, I don´t need them! yet then discovered later that two lips layered together and several eye items on top of each other do the trick. Blushes look very nice layered, too, to give the body and face more depth and structure.
Concerning the raffles, if we do one in here, it´s mostly that every first or / and last post of the page gets a raffle ticket and when the end of the time assigned comes, I put all the people who got tickets into a randomizer and some people (or all; depends on the raffle) win something out of a prize gallery. It´s easy like this, no mystery here. It´s just like a lottery. The randomizer I use does a protocol so no cheating is possible, LOL. It locks the contest immediately after I did the draw and all people involved can look it up in the protocol.
For the other contests, they are very often HA ones yet some are contests concerning colors in generral.
At the moment, one contest is open in the Games and Fun thread and it ends 31th of March, so still a lot of time to design HAs! For this one, you design a HA based on the model of ancient Roman clothing style. It´s called Ludi Vestimenti. So looking up what was in fashion back then concerning clothes and hair style is necessary, also a short description what´s the name of your HA and where it comes from. There are some Roman festivals listed in which you can participate and design a HA for, you can choose one, several or all of them. There are already many examples posted for getting an idea. ^-^ Next weekend, the bonus weekend should occur, so we´ll have our March Cash Shop Bonus Items Contest in which both of the bonus items go to the winner. It´ll have a special theme, too.
