very true! I haven't been able to get out as much the past couple of days. Hopefully today. We had our biggest snow of the season Wednesday night into Thursday. We received about 18" of snow!

Oh wow, that´s mucho! We also had still snow last week yet now it is much warmer and buds are opening.

Is that normal weather for where you are? We're supposed to get another nor'easter Monday into Tuesday. So we may be in for another snow storm. It may miss us too. Sometimes it snows into April here, but it's been so warm here throughout the winter that it's odd that it's all happening now. I don't mind the snow, but I am still pretty sore from shoveling Thursdays snow! (It was very heavy!)

Yes, it´s normal here. March is always a month where snow and sun can occur so nothing new for us. We are looking forward to more stable and mild weather around Easter.

I think when the weather holds (we have some storm guts coming in later yet perhaps, they spare us) we are going to the Park Lightening again like in the last years, the theme this time is Fairytales.

I am not very outgoing person so I chose to stay at home, even if the weather is really BEAUTIFUL :)

I like to sit on terrace or in the garden, too, bc I hate to leave the cats. However, now and then, I get itchy feet, LOL

When my feet are itchy, I walk my dog out :) Here all week will be warm but rainy, tho!

Oh my goodness, I too was hoping for that same thing! Alas, no such luck for me though. My mom was really really hoping the surgery might somehow affect my migraines and make them go away too. :/

Oh no, you poor thing! Heart surgery is really bad. I know people who have gone through it before and tell me it hurts really bad. Did you have a pillow to hold to your chest where thy cut through the sternum? I know how risky it is any time someone has to have major surgery. I ended up losing a lot of blood and being placed in a medically induced coma for 4 days after my surgery this last time. Then they had to take me back in. Yay - not. I was wired shut for almost two weeks and was so starving. I don't think I've ever been that hungry for so long in my life. It gave me a whole new level of empathy for people who go hungry against their will, you know? It makes my heart hurt for all the hungry children of the world. :(

I hope that you don't need any other surgeries and that your heart is super healthy from now on. I dated a boy for almost 6 years who had several heart surgeries as he grew. He had a valve replaced and ticked. I always loved being able to lay my head on his chest and hear his ticking heart. Mostly it felt reassuring that he was alive and well, I suppose. Though I always worried he would bleed out due to how much blood thinner he was on.

:D I have fixed lunch for everyone (people and cats) and got some of the pre-work done for dinner, now sipping my tea and watching a video ... weekends are nice...

It rains here! Oh no! No park lights today for us then. Perhaps tomorrow. If there are too much wind gusts, we are going to visit an illuminated limestone cave next weekend. Seems likely with the weather forecats.... sighs

They are from the cave. We have such light installations yearly in a big park nearby, too. These pics are from last year, it´s hard to find good pics, the atmosphere is very mystic and special. This year´s theme is Fairyland.

I really hope we get to go. It´s the last weekend and we couldn´t go before bc it was freezing cold with snow storms and such. The cave would be more weather independant and it´s also still open next weekend.
