Dallas has a shortage of tests, so they are limiting them to people at risk and medical personal for now. She is on the list, but pretty far down.

Are the schools and restaurants closed in Belgium? Please be careful.

I am in Germany. Restaurants are closed now at 3pm, down from 6pm. Streets and trains are empty. President is talking to the nation this evening, hopefully, we won't start a curfew, too.

Do you care for some elderly? My parents are older yet they are safe at home, my brother lives next door and helps.

Oh wow, restaurants here got completely shut down yesterday.

I don't know if in Belgium yet they are closed now at 3pm here.(Germany) Also, all shops not selling groceries, food and water are closed from today on, too.

We will have it around for the next months for sure. However, letal quote in Germany so far is 0,02 %, same as the flu. So some regulations seems a bit over the top.....

I don't think so. We have all the international numbers and it really looks like severe illness only affects very old people. If we protect them, all will end good. In Germany, the youngest man who sadly died was 68.

I do not. I just hate that they weren't/aren't able to get the things they need because of people panicking and buying way too much. Hello from Germany! I hope all of you and your families are fine. I hope we get a curfew - so many people are still on the streets and in the parks. I don't get it. We're a few days behind Italy and some people just don't care. The youngest new case in critical condition in my city is a 14-year-old schoolgirl. The teacher and other kids aren't even getting tested. Last week they noticed that 50k masks were stolen from a hospital. I'm so sick of these people.

I stocked up food for ten days and cat food for longer. My school headdress told me that she wished for an air fryer two months ago and that she took an offer from a shop where you had to buy 20 packages of 10 x toilet paper to get a free fryer. That's like gold now, LOL. I know where to go now when I run out of it...... :-)

I listen to a podcast which streams 3 times a week from our leading virologist, Doc Drosten. He is a very calm and considerate man and explains the situation honestly and without speculation and sensationalism. That is very soothing and measured against the 25000 fatalities we had 2018 in Germany due to influenza, we're still nowhere near it even when the cases increase a hundredfold.

However, nobody can say at this time where we are going concerning the pandemia and social distancing for some time isn't too difficult when it is reasonable. I am so happy to have you all here!

I fear very much for the economy, though, and asking myself if all the shops and facilities closed now, especially the ones lead by family firms and independant companies and self-employed people, will they recover eventually?

My school starts video teaching next week so I won't loose my job there and I can do some patient appointments via video, too, yet you can't do acupuncture with this. Some patients have to postpone appointments because of being ill themselves or somebody in the family is ill and others are anxious. There'll be red ink in March and April definitely yet I hope I'll make up to it later in the year.

Our company legit cant close and pay the employees. So many big corporations are saying how they are still gonna pay their unworking employees, but we barely have enough money to keep going WITH people working X.X

I hope they all recover. The government told us there'll be a bailout fund yet like the requirements are now to benefit from it, they give nothing to practices which have less patients, that much is clear.

Yeah they offered a 0 interest loan here...but you are gonna have to pay back that loan and how are you gonna pay it back if your not working X.X the struggle is real
