My MIL and her partner are leaving today. They have been here since the 30th. It's been fun. They treated me to an awesome mani/pedi yesterday. :)

Ha, I've been mostly doing the same, just trying to relax and watch videos/movies and such.

I have been watching Numb3rs and Emily has been obsessively watching X Men movies. It rained last night. Instead of cooling things off a little it just made it muggier :(

This past week I didn't have to babysit so I have been spending my time going through the closets and reorganizing all my holiday decorations and putting them into big tubs (instead of the boxes they were in). Big fun lol. I have way too much for a one bedroom apartment, What have you been up to?

I am hiding inside with the A/C in the Houston area also. I have a house nice but always repairs especially after a hurricane. I am so thankful I did not get TS Barry. Congrats on 5 years.

Hey Hun :) LOVE your HA! I am vegging in front of the air too. It is so muggy and humid here :( and it is going to get worse by the end of the week. I am also thankful you were missed by the storm hugs it must be scary when you hear that one might be heading your way! I worry enough about tornadoes.

Your HAs are always awesome. I love your current HA also. In hurricanes there are tornadoes also. During Ike one took part of my roof and most of our patio cover. I hope you stay safe this year.

oh I FEEL that, it's been in the upper 90's for the past month and I've just been glad I don't have to leave the house to work lol. I've been doing pretty great!! missed being more social on subeta though!! I can only spend so much time on art and jewelry before I need to poke around in peoples lives haha!

Same here. I live in a one bedroom apartment that just has one of those little air conditioners stuck in the wall of the living room. It is great for the living room, but does NOTHING for the rest of the apartment. You walk out of the living into the bedroom and it is like going from Alaska to Florida (in the hottest month). I have been trying to put a fan in front of the door to push some of the colder air into the bedroom, but it is so dang hot that it really doesn't do much :( I can't wait for summer to be over. I prefer spring and fall. Not too hot and not too cold! Other then that I have just been trying to keep any outdoor activities to a minimum and then only going out later at night.
