favorite book of all time: the hounds of the morrigan i've read it so often, i once had pictures in my mind and thought: wow, what cool movies was that?! then i realized that i was thinking about the book :D
I reread Lord of the Rings every year around this time--this is the 17th readthrough, which is as good of an autobiographical sentence as any.
I do also read a lot in general and there's usually a breakout book every year, the best new book I read. This year it was The Honey Thief by Najaf Mazari and Robert Hillman. It's a collection of stories from the oral tradition of the Hazara people in Afghanistan, and it's beautiful and funny and heartbreaking all at the same time, I absolutely adored it.
Don Quixote, books 1 and 2 by Cervantes. Read those once a year. Also, the first two trilogies of Dragonlance :D
Towing Jehovah by James Morrison and the two sequels. also, Flowers for Algernon aka Charlie
Life is meant to be FUN and our Destiny is Simply to be HaPpY
Trying my best to read all of H.P. Lovecraft's Necronomicon (commemorative edition). I think it's got over 800+ pages. :D
I'm just starting a book about Disney's Customer Service practices for work- I can't decide if it's going to be a tedious read or actually really neat! I'm also trying to (finally) finish the Temeraire series by Naomi Novik!
I re-read from time to time The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy! A very good book! I'm right now with some Stephen King books to read over the holidays. I still haven't decided which one to read first, but those are the options: It, Buick 8, and Duma Key. If I can manage to read them all before my classes start again, I intend to also read Sapiens and Homo Deus, and maybe something from Richard Dawkins (it's very easy to spot the biologist here :P)
I have read the Hunger Games in which I loved the ending
Right now I'm reading a trilogy by Brandon Sanderson.
I usually read trilogy's if the story line is good because of the characters.
Give a flower!

For real the only book i read is probably the Bible. it is the only one i keep going back to
I'm determined to re-read harry potter at least once every 5 years, that's for sure!
It is so hard to pick a favorite book. Whenever I am craving Stephen King, I find myself wanting to go back and reread Salem's Lot. The Fablehaven series is always good, and I enjoy the Highlander books by Karen Marie Moning. What I tend to reread the most are the gay romance novels I own, but it is too hard to pick just one of them since I enjoy them all for different reasons.
I'm not much of a re reader, my memory is good. I did, however, reread some of the Mrs. Pollifax books when I found them in German, This improved my German 10 fold.
My favorite author is Dean Koontz! His stuff is amazing!
Ohhh I love to read I'm an all over the place reader but most of the time I'm either a horror or shapeshifter type book lover
I literally read so many books. For this year, I'm currently reading book . It's funny because most people hear that and they're like "you must read short books". Nah, man. The last 12 books I've read have been 500+ pages. Black Dagger Brotherhood for the win!
My absolute favorite books are by K.A. Tucker. If you ever want a romantic suspense novel, read Burying Water. It's one of my absolute favorites.
I haven't read in months because my preferred genre is psychological thriller and I've been too stressed to read things like that. My favorite author, though, is Liane Moriarty, by far. Her character development is amazing, and she handles difficult subjects respectfully while adding enough humor to keep it light enough that you won't feel too depressed whenever you have to (regrettably) set the book down for sleep, food, etc.
I re-read the harry potter series almost every year. It is my happy place, my calm, my one obsession... haha :) But, having said that, I also challenged myself to read over 75 books this year and I'm happy to say that I have hit 81 books so far!
If you want to see what books I read this year, I kept track on goodreads: https://www.goodreads.com/user_challenges/9073028 (outside URL warning! but if you haven't been to goodreads it's a really useful tool for tracking what you've read, and want to read!)
I'm a poetry kinda gal, and the book I reread the most is probably a collection of D. H. Lawrence poems. <3 I'm currently reading two books, one fiction and one non-fiction. The fiction is Sherlock Holmes! I feel like I should've read it a looooong time ago; I'm greatly enjoying it!
