I've never watched that, but I'm disappointed if it portrayed clean meat in a negative way. Kinda does a disservice to animals and humanity, I think. It's gonna be a hard enough sell as it is. But with the population ever increasing, we've got to move to more sustainable protein production. Unfortunately, most people will simply never be willing or able to switch to a plant-based diet.
Lmao at that video, I think it's going to be stuck in my head now for a while and it was slightly terrifying. XD You bring up a good point that it's related to research in growing replacement human organs, which is also very exciting stuff! Progress in one undoubtedly helps the other. I don't remember either lol. But now I kind of want to find random meat and those various "harvested organs" from Survival in the bathhouse pool. :P

You'd really have to watch it because there's no way I'm going to do it service in trying to explain it. (And I adore the show even though it got cancelled after two seasons, it's honestly very funny.) Anyway, it's not that it portrayed it in a bad way, really, but that I'm too much of a bleeding heart and can't stomach eating matter like that when you have to stimulate it as if it were actual tissue in a living thing. (So it was kind of like 'how thin is the line really between this fake meat and stuff from animals' and while I know the lab stuff is 'clean,' I'll still never eat it because of the thought. Also because I hate the taste, meat is gross.)

Ah, fair enough! I don't blame you there; I think meat is generally unappealing as well. We're not the target market anyway since we don't have any trouble getting by with plant-sourced protein (I'm only interested in trying it out of sheer curiosity and because like I said, I want to support it, and I'd feel weird recommending something I haven't even tried). Anyway, I'm glad it's just a "meat is gross" thing instead of them making the process seem gross, so it shouldn't bother anyone who isn't already bothered by eating meat I guess. I might have to check out the show if I can find it online. ^^
