Your lab meat convo is reminding me of a show, Better Off Ted; specifically, the second episode, with the meat blob project. If it weren't already that my choice to quit meat however many years ago was because I already hated it, that episode would have turned me away from even 'clean meat' grown in a lab altogether. >>; (Though I'm certain I'd be fascinated by the science behind lab grown meat all the same.)

mmmhmhm meat batter lol that process just looks deeelicious heavy sarcasm :P but i love seeing those kinds of manufacturing shows! the machinery and production lines i find fascinating. it actually reminds me of a vid one of my friends at work discovered...totally not a how-to video, and probably not all that funny to everyone, but ever since she showed it to me we've called any kind of frankfurt/hotdog "cow lips and anusus" lol (we work in the deli/butcher departments at a local supermarket so we're around them a lot). wow that scaffold things sounds cool though! the possibilities for stuff like that and human organ growing i think is really exciting! lol yeah how did we even get to meat production XD i forget shruuugs
