I wonder what's going to happen next year, didn't somebody mention new challengers that wouldn't be CS ones?
<p>Anyway, just got home from a week vacation to Bratislavia and Budapest,and saw a bit of snow in Viena (spend the night there on Sunday) :D how are you all? :D

Oh yeah, that's right! I'm curious too, I'm guessing we may still have monthly CS challengers, but it will be nice to have something else too like there was with the Throwbacks.
I think people have been asking/hoping for some new non-CS or event challengers even before the reset, so it would be cool to finally get some!

OMG, third day in a row I get Prodigy twice. Bet it happens again tomorrow. Ffffuuuuuuuu--------
27/30 for BQs today. Crawbeast then Chase ruined my streak, oh well maybe tomorrow. Slowly inching towards 500k EXP hoarded.

Prodigy just really really wants you to fight him, lol
<p>Prodigy&;s eyeball is solid when you don&;t have SOSS or MW yet. I think it could have been pushed a bit further when you compare it USS, but it has a role when you need a water blocker.</p>
<p>The problem with the way that they have implemented every single stat scaling weapon is that they should all be tier 1 weapons that get stronger from the bottom up, and encourage you to actually use them. If you are going to jump through a stupid hoop like training speed early, you should get a pretty big benefit for it, and not a single weapon actually encourages you to do that. Its all you train to 3K speed or its useless. It also just ends up being a little bonus to people who are already training stats instead of encouraging builds.</p>
<p>Captured Eternal Flame for example from a balance stand point could very easily just be a tier 10 weapon, it doesn&;t make me want to train to 4K SPD, but when I get there I might consider using it.</p>
<p>Weapons based on HP or Intel would have the same problem. I want as much intel and HP as possible either way, it doesn&;t change a decision I would make, it just makes it more essential.
Agreed. I was thinking on the wrong track with hp and intel. Unless there is a minimum tier requirement, scaling with intel could essentially mean you have a low tier pet using a much higher tier weapon. But yeah they should make a scaling weapon’s usefulness scale with the tier of the pet. None of the scaling weapons have any benefit other than it being a cheaper alternative to better options. I could spend 600+ mil on MW, train my pet to high T12 and wait for Rouland to win my own, or just train up speed to 3k speed so the flail is somewhat useful. Literally by the time it becomes the best it could be, you can win MW that’s infinitely better.

You are at the right stats to start taking on malerias familiar, but the partial freeze protection makes her difficult. I used PBB modded with two dark and two parched. I think my second weapon I used was comet flash. However, as thesovereign and I have been discussing, MCAB may be better.
Sadly don't have the MCAB anymore. But thanks for the tips. :)

I broke down and threw all my csc at a MW. It can be done with the Flail, but its less painful this way.

It's pretty cheap to buy now if you want to pick one up and try. I have one I could lend you that I haven't modded yet
Meh, he was easy enough when I turned T12 and immediately bought natasha. I was able to at least get 5 wins with natasha and the flail so BQs weren't too terrible.
