Yeah I could have removed him, but I already paid for him to be there and I'm lazy, so he'll just stay in there until it's finished (I think he only has like 2 or 3 days left). :P

I'll probably leave him out for a while after though and just feed him a couple things a day for BQs, since there will probably be more food items from Melody and stuff.

I usually try to let some foods build up in my storage, and then I'll feed a couple per day once he's out of the resort (usually right before I decide to do BQs for the day).

When there are no events going on, I'll just keep him in the resort for more extended periods. It's not too bad keeping up now, since he's eaten over 6k foods, I don't usually end up with a whole lot at one time anymore. I think I only have like 40 or so items right now.

I finally got around to my BQs so now I have data on the [item2=blade of the bonfire]
I checked each challenger with shrines to see if they allowed blessings or curses.
No blessings showed up. Nothing was stolen or frozen. Of 64 uses where curses were possible there were 3 30-icon 1 turn curses On curse infliction turns, and only on curse infliction turns, defense is 45 Phys 45 Ice. 45 of 77 uses were 50 Phys defense, the others that weren't curses were 50 Ice Physical Damage 7 four times 8 ten times 9 four times 10 eight times 11 nine times 12 eleven times 13 four times 14 seven times 15 ten times

The 50 phys defense on the new blade is quite interesting - I find that without a physical block a lot of the time I'm scrambling to patch up that defense.

That being said - I could just buy an Ether for about 50m more, so at that point.. @-@ Still, it's really really pretty and I suppose over the course of a long battle the ~5% chance of dealing an extra 30 icons is intriguing.

Edit: Of course, not to mention that the physical defense is essentially unreliable and given the data above ~40% of the time you wouldn't even be blocking physical at all.

Thanks for the data! Hard numbers will help people determine if this is a worthwhile purchase for them or not.

Lol was it the shark one? I've been throwing those for the achievement, using the random link, and I think if it hits someone who is wearing the snowball shield thing it rebounds and hits me instead. I kinda like it though too. :P

Oh, I'm not sure if I've seen that one before. It sounds like it would look funny though!

The shark ones are one of my favorites, it looks like the shark biting your head. Works pretty well with the box also. Probably most of them do, actually.
