- battling in bits and pieces is my plan as well. I don't want to go all out and then be ready for a battle break just when some great new TBT, plot or event challengers show up. And, besides, I want to enjoy myself. It's supposed to be fun ... not work. LOL

I actually have 5 impossible tokens - 3 are from the original Troll but I don't really know where the other 2 came from. Maybe General Error dropped them when I wasn't looking to make up for all the annoyance he causes me??? :-)

My main battle pet is tapped out on stats. So using the remote would be a waste. But I do need to read it. And if I get another one, it will be for my second battle pet. The only stat I can increase now is intel and level for my main.

Thanks to the Oracle, my battle pet's stats are now: Level: 731 Health: 2139 / 2139 Strength: 1927 Defense: 1920 Speed: 1823 Intelligence: 1553

yeah, i seem to go through cycles of "have all the tokens!" and "i got nothin for the likes of you" when i do battle quests, so i'm hoping the regular battling is a little more generous, haha

Very well, thanks and you? I battled all the normal opponents until Prodigy, all the secret ones until Chase (I can destroy him, but I hate him so much) and The Mage. Throwback done, event done. :) I will take care of the CS opponents when I'll have time. 😅

- the site servers and code are being improved so maybe the next plot won't kill the site. And yes, I like plots - even when they sometimes cause problems.

I really enjoyed all the work to beat the troll. So much amazing cooperation and such generosity from stranger to stranger. I wound up working really hard but it was more than worth it. And that's also what got me thinking more seriously about battling. Besides, there will be lots of work involved, but now that we know what to do, it won't be as difficult as when we weren't sure what would or wouldn't work.

Eventually, I'm sure another group will get serious and start getting lots of wins against that troll.

- I know your main battle pet is capped. But I still think that a Universal Remote Control is a REALLY EXPENSIVE item just to read for a single intelligence point. I have trouble imagining having read so many other books that it's worth buying that one and then reading it to a pet. In fact, I would think that you would be better off buying a lot of intelligence stat boosters instead (although I do understand that you don't gain all that intelligence unless you also read a book at the end). One of my very first goals on Subeta was to have a pet that had read every single book that has every existed on the site. But now, I'll just settle for raising my pet's AP enough to equip more scrolls. :-) You have done an amazing job to get your pet to this point and I am extremely impressed.

- sounds like you have been very busy in the Battle Coliseum, trouncing challengers left and right! You have really made a lot of progress.

I have gotten my wins against the TBT and event challengers with all four pets, but nothing else. I am just getting back to doing BQs. But that's okay since I'm not really in any hurry. Tos is almost T10 (yay!) but doesn't have any T10 weapons (except one now) and so I've also been thinking about what my next battle purchase(s) might be. :-) I'm having a little debate about investing in a T10 weapon (or two) or perhaps getting some scrolls which, if I also get enough books, can be used by all four pets. Decisions, decisions ... :-)

I'm trying to get my quests done ASAP, so i can play some Witcher 3, which I bought during the PlayStation Network Black Friday sale for 50% off :P This game cost me 20€, so i bought another one too (Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragments - 70% off!) for less than 6€ :P

Haven't played much of the SAO game, because I got hooked on Witcher LOL
