You can always try to borrow things but I have gotten wins in previous years with those weapons in lower tiers

Sounds like as I thought it is time to splash the cash, I have been saving for a while for this so I just have to grit my teeth and go for it. Im going to go off and read up all the items you mentioned and um and arr a bit more.

Can I just ask if there is a best time to buy big items like Natasha amd Ornamental Hook swords? I would hate to spend millions only to find I could have saved 20% in a months time for some reason. I will be looking closely at the opponents that do nice drops that you mentioned to make sure I give that a try

- Well don't be a stranger :) We battlers are a friendly bunch and don't bite...much. I believe natasha, ether, and OHS are all year round items in the MC, so no optimal time to buy. but also check trades to see if someone is selling them for a bit less. But yeah, battling is no cheap endeavor, especially at T11/12.

I was reading on MrCools blog and he used a phrase I dont understand, he talked about clutch healers? Can anyone tell me what they are please

- Here we don't ban trolls, we battle them. lol. Clutch isn't really a term that I've seen on subeta much, but in general gaming clutch would be like that one little thing you needed to win/survive, so clutch healers would probably be referring to the full healers, PQuill and Reviver, both which you mentioned were in your armory already.

if you have neither swashbuckle nor blessed trident then you may want to just buy a swash since it's much cheaper nowadays. against some opponents the swash might be even better since it blocks and heals more. suggested quite a few other good weapons already. more freezing scrolls (shriek, psycho, strong stomp) are always nice. the unstable fairy scroll is quite an interesting one and it's especially useful against opponents who use ice icons. you can check out its stats here https://www.subetalodge.org/view/item/Unstable+Fairy+Scroll. congrats on getting the natasha!

- Congrats on the new toys and achievements! Natasha is especially nice for opponents who like to steal a lot, like Chase, because it generates bullets that they can steal instead of your weapons, and the bullets themselves are nice too because they grant a blessing that blocks freezing for two turns, I've used them in a pinch against opponents who like to freeze a lot.

- yes, frustrating, but really not so much sP, a level leech would probably cost more than the increased training costs most of the time. I guess it might also mean that training takes longer which could be a problem too. But not too bad all in all.

- if you're talking about Dean, I do beat him with Tos for BQs but it is definitely harder without scrolls. Maybe some of the data below will help you beat him with Cynde. Good Luck.
