- yes sometimes mentions that it's more fun before your pet is capped (unless, of course you happen to enjoy raising multiple pets so there are new ones to keep working on).

I guess level leeches would be nice in terms of training cost. But, really, level doesn't affect anything else that I know of. And battling is already expensive enough that I suspect the extra cost of level increase is not very large. I think the bigger issue is if you get level from something like the Oracle, then that is a lost opportunity to gain some other stat boost.

Can anyone advise please I have been trying to work out what are the next best things to add to my set, and would like some help if anyone would be kind enough

I have been saving my impossible tokens for a Volatile Energized Mecha does this seem a good plan? Im level 12

Are there any obvious things missing in my set or that could give it a boost? I can defeat all the main opponents apart from Prodigy but I want to be able to take on opponents at special events, buy summoning scrolls for some csc opponents without thinking I will just get squished.

may i ask what tier you are? might as well get the mecha since the lucent (broken) doesn't seem too worth it. what do you mean by level 12? save the core (and can use it in battle when applicable) until you get your own concoction to make the ME 8)

I have not been able to take him down either. The lack of scroll use really makes him tricky.

- Looks like you could use some higher tier weapons in your set if you are Tier 12, some of the heavier hitting full blockers like the Swashbuckle, Ornamental Hook Swords are on the cheaper end, Blessed trident, Natasha, Possessed Bow, Ether on the higher end. If you have the Gelatin Concoction (the achievement prize for beating the gelatin wizard) you can combine it at genetech to get the Maniacal essence which is the best dark blocker. There's a few that you should be able to earn as well Manifesting Weapon from beating Rouland, hopefully there will be a chance for that shortly, Cronus Blade from Meatslab the Furious. Unstable Sample Syringe from the Mutant Scientist.

A couple of the full blockers, Rainbow Vortex, Shinwas Temple Shard, Amulet of Neutrality might be good to add to your set too.

Scrolls look good, a couple Gift of the Forj scrolls might make a good addition, should be able to earn at least one of those as well from battling the Imp. Tier Forj.

And yeah, I would save up the shards for the Mecha, it has seen me through many a battle. The Broken Lucent doesn't really seem worth it IMO.

Battle: 25 / 30... now that i know widow can consistently beat flamagia and general error through the upper levels and can get 30/30 if we get lucky and get the island, it's a huge bummer to get chase or maleria's familiar or crawbeast :c oh well, she'll get 'em someday.

So... anyone preparing for Nightlady yet? I'm hoping this year will be the first time I can face her (T10) and my weapons will be worthy enough. That being said... Don't have a lot of weapons that will be useful in blocking dark, earth, and (maybe) physical. Read MrCool's old blog on her and I don't have the good weapons. Going to try it with my Replica Minotaur Knocker, Maliss Cannon, and Plague Claw unless anyone has any better ideas.
