- oh, now I understand, thank you. Yes, there are apparently a smaller number of BQ challengers from level 26 through 29 and so far the only one Tos can beat is General Error. I had no idea who would show up at Level 30 because I've never made it that far.

it is more economical to beat opponents in BQ if you focus on high hp build when reaching 1k even. you can reach L25 BQ without many high value weapons and scrolls as long as GE is not the boss. Saggi is a problem to me since i don't have dark/light blocker, but he is manageable towards high t9. during high t9, GE is beatable too. then early t10 flamagia is beatable without syringe. with that you can reach L29 at early t10 if you are lucky to get only flamagia and GE.

the stars during that period are turkey quill and frostbite amulet. both are great help for kinda cheap price. my scrolls were holy deluge, death delusion, 2 perilous whirlpool and 4 cobalt eternal. at that time the craftable scrolls are cheap to craft.

Do many of you pay for the monthly csc opponents?

Im wondering now if I should be looking at csc opponents, Im guessing I may be in with a chance of beating them now.

Interested to know what the advantages are Im quite happy to pay for them as Im now getting so much more fun out of battling on the site and it seems a good way to put something back in.

I looked under the cash shop drop down but couldnt find any current challenger summoning 'thingies' for sale..am I looking in the wrong place or are there none available just now?

I get every monthly opponent because I like collecting and unlocking things, so just for the sake of completeness I get them all.

I know some people only get the tougher ones though (like Very Hard or Extremely Hard & Impossible only) for the EXP, or ones with good loot drops like weapons/scrolls. It's up to you and how much you're willing to spend on them, because usually with the weaker easy opponents you don't really get much.

aha I see so Im guessing that to find out what they are like you have to go to subetalodge and look it up? I managed to find the currently available ones under special tab, Im surprised I found it so hard to find them I ended up going back to an old news item in archives to get the link, anyway will go and see what the current ones seem like :)

The thread in my signature has a list of all the Cash Shop challengers in the second post, organized by when they were released. I don't have the loot listed, but I do have the difficulty levels for each one. You can look them up on Subetalodge in item notes though, if you want to find the loot.

No problem! A lot of them should (hopefully, probably) be brought back during the Black Friday sale in late November, so if you're missing a lot you could save to get the ones you really want to unlock then.

In the past, the challenger items haven't been on sale though, so you'd still have to pay full price for them. But at least they are brought back for people who missed them!

the unstable fairy scroll isn't super urgent so you can wait and try to win one yourself. :D hopefully nightlady will be nice this year! even though i own a strong stomp i only found out it's a freezing scroll not so long ago LOL

i used to buy all the csc challengers but now i just buy the tougher ones cause the easier ones just aren't too worth it for me. ): totally up to you how much you wanna spend though haha

While I am opposed to "pay to play" in principle, this site has made me a hypocrite. I buy them every month -- regardless of loot drops or difficulty. They are worth it to me in the long run because I have so many pets I battle with. They pay for themselves in experience. I also am a bit compulsive when it comes to having everything on a list -- so even if they weren't worth it in exp, I'd probably still buy them. shrugs

If you are going to start getting them, I would grab up as many as you can before the reset. It will double their value.

Well only made it to 22/30 in BQs, Sandragon is annoying.

Haha yes we cracked one open the night I bought it and it was totally worth it. My boyfriend's mind was blown. He finally understood why I have been searching for these specific bourbons.

I evenly trained my first pet to 2,500 all stats before I started to boost health, then strength. My second pet however, I started to boost health when he was at T6. I have been tracking his progress and have been able to beat almost all level 25 challengers at T9. The ones that give me a problem if they show up are Dean (but I haven't fought him since my pet had just turned T9 so maybe he can beat him now) and the raging storm slyph. I managed to get two wins on the storm back when it was a TBT challenger but it took over 50 losses. I think that was also when I was T8 though so maybe I can beat them both now o.O;

I only buy the CSC monthly challengers that have good loot drops or give out a lot of experience (so mostly the impossible or extremely hard challengers). If you don't buy them when they first come out, it's good to wait until black Friday when they all get re-released to the cash shop. Even if you don't buy with CSC, reseller prices for sP may drop since they are available in the cash shop again.

- goals? I'm supposed to have goals? :-) My only battle goal is to enjoy myself and someday to have a capped pet with high AP and all the important weapons and scrolls. But I want to have fun along the way, so I don't think there's any big hurry.

Tos can beat Sandragon - but it takes lots of battles to get a win, so I'm guessing that Cynde could do it too.

- which ones did you find - and what about them makes them worth searching for? Maybe I can find one near me.
