Meh it just stinks for battlers looking for a challenge or goal to work towards for the month, only to have to wait another month at a chance for a harder challenger.

HAHAHAHA about that. So. I had a project that I pushed full speed ahead a year ago, had the product set up and everything ready to go. Then that project got put on pause for higher priorities. Fast forward to now, a year later, and we are on the verge of a factory down situation because we can't build anything until all these lots we have go through inspection to be screened for a failure that was just caught. However, my stuff that has been sitting for a year was outside of the affected failure range so they can build on my stuff. Because I had everything in place before it was paused, we are starting it up Monday. That also means I have to be on the floor watching it all day because our operators haven't run this product in a year and we have had new people come in at this point that have never even seen this product version before. And literally just two days ago I was asked if we could scrap out my material. I was like no, we could still build on it or use it for engineering stuff... xD

Still trying for a win against Surge. So far, no luck today.

- yes, the higher end battlers have been ignored lately.

Ouch! I certainly hope your employers appreciate that you didn't all the material to be scrapped and that you have a viable product ready for them to run. Hope Monday goes smoothly for all.

This is the set my T9 uses to beat surge for BQs:

For scrolls, I use and as many perilous whirlpool scrolls as I can equip after that for the chance to freeze.

Oh everyone is aware that I am the one pulling the sinking ship to shore. My boss was saying I am quickly becoming the popular one. If people didn't know who I was before, they certainly know now lol

- Thanks, added the 2017 CS ones. The problem with the Panzer Hydra's is that my list goes solely by the name of the opponent, and not the unique ID, so I can't really tell the difference between each one. Added the Frosting Beast though. :D

Battle Quests done - Completed Level 26 - can't remember who I beat at Level 20, finally got past Surge at Level 21, then The Gate Keeper, Cursed Effigy, the Tormented, Mornrise Serpent, Bonesaw and General Error. Since I accidentally wasted my skip back at Level 15 I'm done for today because Tos is still not ready for Maleria's Familiar.

Have yet to start on the TBT challengers, but soon. :-)

- well, at least you're getting credit for being the one stuck in the water towing. :-) It would be awful if your efforts weren't being acknowledged. And they are lucky to have you and your project.

There are only 6 books that Demigod hasn't read but there's a new one each month when the collections come out :) My battle strategy is generally a lot of freezing scrolls. I have PQ, RotL, and the one ring for healers but I can't remember the last time I had all 3 of those equipped at the same time

Makes sense for Demigod with all that AP. I've recently starting to work more on reading, but Tos is still sitting at a lowly 37.

81 on the other hand was created with the idea of working on AP early and is up to 20 for now with Tharg and Gulp in between, and 81's starting intelligence points all came from Mystic Spindle.

So far, it's not clear that I have enough scrolls to use high levels of AP yet - even if I borrow some. The good news is that there are lots of unread books in my vault since I was collecting books long before wanting to battle. :-) Actually, having heard about eventually running out of books, I have wondered whether to read books or wait and use boosters and then a book - or when to make the transition in terms of sP and other cost.

[edit] Don't know how some of you battlers deal with so many pets. Right now I have four pets at T3, T5, T8 and T9 - all different tiers, so all different training times. Maybe it's just because I've been here so long today, but I'm starting to feel like a pet need to finish/restart training every time I turn around. On the bright side, that means everyone is making good progress today. :-)

I have 10 different training times for my 23 pets. The smallest 2 are still in autotraining every day so that's less stressful.
That leaves 8 different training times I have to deal with, but the next 2 are t10s with trainings lasting about 5.5 hours. My pet starts a training every 17 hours. The rest are in between those times. With all that said, it does get easier to train multiple pets over time as they grow up!

I usually look at my phone soon after I get up. Check my fitbit and then start trainings :P

- Wow! I do see it should get easier in some ways as the training times get longer. Right now 81 is at 1 1/2 hours, Gulp is 2 hours, Tharg is 4 1/2 hours and Tos is 5 1/2 hours. And then if you happen to get them a little out of sync as the day wears on and you don't start a session exactly when the last one ends ... it just feels chaotic to me.

I was actually quite surprised when 81's training time changed to 1 1/2 hours in the middle of T2 (for some reason I though it would happen at a tier boundary - at least with the small pets). I was coordinating her every hour training with Blackout, The Crypts and some other hourly tasks. Of course, when her timer changed, they were no longer together and I spent a half a day being confused about why I kept getting my system messed up and wondering what I was doing wrong, before I finally noticed the new training time sitting right in front of my face. :-)

I had a BLAST. We got to her place at 6 pm and spent the whole day there, until about 1 am. Went to bed at 1:30 am. I am tired and sleepy. Husband walked to work tired and sleepy lol but it was SO MUCH FUN.

She's going away for a few days, but already scheduled for next week another get-together on Thursday and Saturday ^_^

Looks like my library doesn't have copies of those books, but I can get them via interlibrary loan. I'll let you know what I think after I read some of them. :-)

she's the one person I've bonded the most with, and someone I can see as a friend to talk to. Most of the other people in the group we hang out with I haven't felt this connection :P

We're also making plans to go visit her in Bratislava in December, for her birthday :D I'll probably get there a week before husband (since he probably won't be able to take days off the hospital), and he'll get there for the weekend. We're probably going to go to Budapest and Vienna during the week ^^ She also invited my SIL if she's still here visiting! I'm excited ^^ haha

I hope you can get past Surge soon, and that you like the books when you find them and have time to read them :)

I will find the books. You just go to worldcat.org and they can find almost any book and tell you which libraries have it. Our librarians use it as a reference themselves. Then you go to my local library website, tell them what you want and it shows up here for you to pick up and read. When you're done - you give it back to the local library and they send it back where it came from. Anything over a year old is elligible. Most books come from other local libraries, but I have gotten some from far away.

Okay - back to Surge. Maybe he got bored waiting and will be easier to beat now. :-)

[edit] Hmm - never had this happen before, Just went back to the Battle Coliseum. Surge is there, but Tos seems to be missing. :-) Weird.

[edit] Well I guess it worked because Tos managed to beat Surge at Level 23 BQ, but not before taking a couple more losses and mysteriously reappearing as suddenly as she vanished. Now guess who is my opponent for Level 24 BQ (sigh) - here we go again. ...

By the way, I did check some other pages and Tos was missing there too - just Tos, all of my other pets were still there (even when I changed my active pet to Tharg and then back again, he stayed visible and she remained missing) and her mini image was also still there on my profile page. Wonder what that was about?

Ah - got him again. Wow that was close - used a Negating Pylonic when he was finally under 300 hit points again and he didn't die. So chose weapons/scrolls, closed my eyes and hit Make Your Turn ... Tos survived with 7 hit points! Guess where ever she was hiding they must have taught her a battle trick or two. :-)

Back to General Error for Level 25.

I've always had a preference for reading in English, as well as watching movies/tv shows in English... I love the language, and feel it's cruel to read/watch something translated.

Same thing for movies/anime.... I prefer to watch it in it's original language and subtitled :P

I still need to fight the TBT challengers, but I'm just not feeling up to doing anything today. Pondering whether I should make another tuna salad like yesterday or go lazy and eat the instant noodle ramen right now and wonder what I'll have for dinner since my husband will work an all nighter today :P

TBT challengers done. Four pets each with ten wins on both. Even fighting them with 81 was really easy.

- it's always nice to be able to read/watch in the original language. But wouldn't a Spanish library also have books that were originally written in Spanish? There might be something fun and exciting to read there.

You will have time to fight the TBT challengers later. They will still be around for several weeks since they just arrived. But it won't take you very long. Even 81 had no problems getting to ten wins on both of them. :-)

I would always vote for tuna salad given those choices, but I guess you're going to have to figure out dinner on your own. All nighters are hard.
