TGIF!!!
Don't forget to do Saggi's quest.
Diligently hard at work. Only good thing is air conditioning.
[Edit] You Won! You have defeated Unstable Snow Fairy Kuuipo earned 3500 EXP Points!

Wow damn... FIVE amulets from Quentin... lol....
[edit] Too good to be true... all shards from the Mage.
Tharg earned 15,500 sP for their work today! Good job! This brings Tharg's total earnings to 8,462,550 sP. BONUS! Your intelligence has increased by 1 point!
Gulp earned 10,750 sP for their work today! Good job! This brings Gulp's total earnings to 3,153,450 sP. BONUS! Your strength has increased by 1 point!
81 earned 4,300 sP for their work today! Good job! This brings 81's total earnings to 178,700 sP. BONUS! Your level has increased by 1 point!
Wow - I only have four pets - and three stat increases today from the job center. Not even upset that 81 gained 1 level since she's still so little. :-)
But I thought the cap was 35,000 so how do you get to 35,009??? Is that because you used a tome and so are allowed to keep all the increases awarded?
- makes sense to me. That's a pretty good description of how I've always felt about it. And we will get there - and, hopefully, enjoy the journey as well.
Good morning - I didn't have time for Careaper today either, but I gave it a couple quick tries before returning borrowed scrolls to (couldn't resist making at least one attempt with that GoTF in hand). Tos is not at all ready to take on Careaper yet (not really a surprise), but we'll all be happy to cheer for you and Tziety on August 13th.
- not yet, but I will let 81 play with them soon (I always try my smallest pets first so it gets easier as I go). No books this month, but can't complain about a plushie and a beanbag.
I've been busy installing new virus protection and all sorts of updates on a stack of computers. Wouldn't be here now, but it seems to have gone amazingly smoothly - so that makes this a very good day!.
How is everything going with you?
Level 30/30 It's time for you to face Prodigy!
Your opponent scored a critical hit, doubling their damage! Total Damage: 6794
Nope. Just nope LOL
I just got a flashback to when I worked in the museum and my best friend telling me he had to work on the computers LOL Are you in electronic/systems? I never asked, never knew LOL Glad it all went smoothly! :D
Things are pretty good with me, but husband and I discovered we have some Earwigs, EWWW. He's going to pass the report to the owner of the apartment, and see how we'll proceed... they've been mostly in the bathroom alone, but I found one in the bedroom's ceiling, and another in the kitchen this morning. Not good.
Is it your PC that needs installing the new virus protection or the PCs where you work? Just the name of virus worries me XD.
I use whomever as healing fodder as long as I can OHKO (one-hit knock out) them. Tiny Trojhen is going to be helpful until next TBT XD
You're welcome about the sticker. I guess you'll end up with a bunch of them but then I'd love to save you the trouble of having to go to the Hustler if I can (even if you might not be that into collecting :P )
Any time the Careaper makes a comeback, feel free to poke me for the scrolls :D I'm done with him with 10 wins and my second pet is nowhere near enough to tackle him yet. Tos might be able to beat him with some persistence (which I'm confident you've got plenty :D) and luck (Emo Spork is here if you ever need a loan :D). In the meantime, I'm sure 81 will have lots of fun beating up the new TBT guys.
Sorry for being nosy but I think you can take on Surge. Would you mind sharing what set are you using against him?
Congratulations on the cap. How many pets have you capped already? I'm hoping to get my first pet to T13 next year (ugh it takes so long even with BQs) then I'm thinking of giving as many BQs as I can to my second pet too :D
I'm sorry to hear about the insects. :O I hope you can get rid of them as soon as possible!
- that was really not very nice of Prodigy. Hope you beat him in the end.
I have an MS in computer science and worked as a software developer (and sometimes computer administrator) after college. It's been a while since I did that for a job, but I still maintain the computers in my house. And I now have a bunch of them (four) and it takes time because three of them are old and all of them are relatively slow.
Yuck - I really hate Earwigs ever since I sat on one in the bathroom. This time of year I find them in the house every so often. Hope you are able to get rid of yours. Bugs are kind of normal in summer (sigh). I try not to kill the spiders or house centipedes (don't like those much either - especially the centipedes) because they are supposed to help by eating the other bugs.
- the computers in my house. I learned long ago to be concerned about security so I always try to find the current best when it's time to renew (it often changes). Last time there were lots of roadblocks but this time was fast and easy. :-)
You have all sorts of OHKO choices if you have a GoTF in your scroll set. :-) I'm not sure which I enjoyed more - beating some of those tougher opponents because I had one extra free turn - or being able to do early battle quests (or between battle healing) with one click and not even any weapons! :-)
I probably wouldn't go to the Hustler with stickers. I'd much rather find some friends and work on sticking each other. For now, I generally just put stickers in my vault where they can be used or sold (but then I usually just put everything in my vault, so I'm sure you're not surprised). I suppose you can tell from my sticker album that I'm not seriously collecting, but it's still much appreciated to find someone was thinking about me and put something there.
Hmmm, I didn''t think of trying an Emo Spork. From the description, it seems like Careaper can vary wildly on how tough he is, so it is certainly possible that Tos might beat him with multiple attempts, but I'm not confident that she would stand much chance of getting to five wins yet since MrCool classes him as possibly T11 for the fifth win. (Although it might be fun to try the spork trick just to see what happens. :-) ) I will certainly remember. You are always so generous in sharing all your hard earned battle weapons and scrolls. Thank you.
And yes, looks like the new TBT challengers were put there just so 81 could have more fun. :-) And even nice loot.
thank you, I hope so too! I have read that they don't really create infestations, but still, I'm not entirely relaxed LOL
OH I thought you meant work computers lol but at least I wasn't too far off with your studies LOL You sat down on an Earwing? :o That must not have been pleasant
I haven't seen a single spider or ant or any kind of bug inside the house, which I'm grateful for, but I'd rather trade the earwings for random appearances of small spiders LOL (ok well maybe not... I'd rather have none at all)
OMG the mail is here! -runs to open door-
[edit]
MY BOOKS ARE HERE!
(Along with a tequila and some gadget my husband ordered)! :D
beyond excited
- These days just home computers.
No it wasn't, especially because of where it happened, but I survived and it did not. Still, I continue to dislike them actively every since then. But it is true that they are rarely any sort of serious problem so I don't think you need to worry.
Ooooh books - how exciting - and those look very interesting as well. Hope you enjoy them.
I think the gadget is supposed to convert between two different TV formats - probably so you can hook up a video game or something like that. Apparently Spain uses PAL and Mexico (like the US) uses NTSC so you would need a converter to connect things that worked in Mexico to a TV in Spain.
I simply don't think I'll be walking barefoot for a while on the apartment , even though I love being barefoot :P At least it didn't survive lol
Thank you! I am still two books away from finishing another series from Rick Riordan, so it'll be a bit before I start with them... still I can't wait :D
YES, exactly that! I brought my Wii console from Mexico, and we want to plug it into the tv here in Europe :P I just called it a gadget because I wouldn't be able to explain what it does, like you just did lol
- don't blame you at all if you wear shoes for a while. Just remember they're probably much more scared of you than you are of them (and with good reason :-) ). Don't like to kill anything, but I make certain exceptions when they're in my personal space.
I love books! They are my very favorite things. If these are a new series by an author you already like, I can understand why you are so excited.
And I know - I can't wait to read my stack of books, and then when it's gone, I need to have a new one waiting for me. :-)
Guess it's part of my computer background. Connecting hardware and translating formats just sort of comes with the territory. :-) I never did any work on TV (except in my own home) but it's still the same basic underlying idea.
Just for fun, I found this list TV format by country. Not sure whether it's current, but I did think it was interesting.
I squish them as I find them , we only set one free yesterday because we captured it in the first place to take a photo up-close (shudders) and ask people what it was. That's how we learned about it.
I keep glancing at the walls and ceiling, and checking all surfaces in the bathroom before I get confident enough to use the toilet. EW. At least I have a pool party later on to look forward lol
Yup, these series are from my favorite author, Rick Riordan. He writes a lot of fantasy books involving mythology (greek, roman, egyptian), so all his books are super exciting!
Oooh I'm going to save that list of TV formats in case we ever have to move to another country lol
- try not to think too much about them. A pool party sounds like fun! And a much better topic to occupy your mind.
I used to read a lot of fantasy, but mostly read mystery now. But I might just have to get one of Rick Riordan's books to try. What's the first book from your favorite series of his?
Cool! Just remember, I'm not sure when the list was written (although a country's TV format choice is hard to change so they tend to stay the same). Still, if you move to another country, you might want to double check.
Your motivation and dedication continue to astound me. Congratulations on re-capping and looking forward to seeing what you accomplish next. c:

I try, but it's not easy. I just finished making lunch (tuna salad). Took me like twice as long because I was watching Castle while doing it lol
I can't wait for the pool party, just a few more hours :D A friend of my husband invited us, and I'll be meeting her for the first time excited We already follow each other on Facebook, and exchanged texts a few times :P
I used to read a lot of mystery/crime/romance novels, but then I got Percy Jackson & the Olympians, followed by Kane Chronicles and before I knew it I was hooked with Rick Riordan. Recently (like two years ago?) I got the Percy Jackson and the Heroes of Olympus, and I'm in book 4 out of 5 :D
And now these two series (Trials of Apollo & Magus Chase), I am so thrilled LOL
These are all the Riordan books from my collection
Percy Jackson & the Olympians
The Heroes of Olympus
The Kane Chronicles
Demigods and Magicians crossover collection
Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard
The Trials of Apollo
Thanks ! and yes, I was just under the cap and I used that final tome to put me over the top. I've used a tome all 5 times I've capped a pet and I've always received all of those stats. Congrats to you on all those stats gains!
Thanks ! Demigod is my first pet to reach the 35k cap. I did have 4 pet capped at 22k before it was raised. My goal is to get my entire army to t13 so I've been using most of my boosters towards that. When I get 25 t13 pets, then I'll push Asher Basher on to the cap. Good luck getting Hanson up to t13 quickly! :)
Thanks and ! :)
We also had earwigs a while back. Those are scary looking little buggers!
I like your book list!(Guess what I was reading when I created Demigod ;) ) Actually, several of my pets were created while I was reading a book!
