Yeah, I hope it'll be a bit more dynamic for a plot. The food hunting mini-game grew tiresome after the 100th playtime.

Yeah, and the ending felt a bit rushed as well. We got to the top of the volcano and then some stuff happened and it ended. That's about what I remember, anyway. Hopefully the continuation will be a bit more fleshed out with some more variety.

Fortunately, everything is restored again and now safely tucked back inside my armory again. I can't believe I made such a silly mistake like this last night. I'm very thankful for the kindness and helpfulness of subeta staff, especially when these sorts of mishaps happen. Now to the weapon testing.

Glad they were able to help you out! I nearly made the same mistake, it's just so automatic to go to the Fragmentizer instead because I use it every day. At least everything is sorted out now! :)

Did you perhaps try the Comet Flash and Trident or Swash against Kitty? You've got more than 2,500 Def now so it should block a good chunk of dark icons and heal you for 4%. Not much but the dark block is nice if you haven't got ME. I think slotted 2 dark defence baguettes onto her PBB for Crawbeast. PBB blocks some dark and magma which the kitty deals while healing a better amount of health than the comet flash, so if the other doesn't work well you can try PBB as an alternative.

Yeah it took us days (weeks?) to get to the top of the mountain with our caravans and then we were able to get to the bottom of the mountain in one click. Felt really strange. That ending was not super fun. Overall a good plot though.

Np! Yeah crithbolcan has a lot of health but is a lot easier than familiar or prodigy. Prodigy crits a lot, has bomb weapons and high strength. Malerias familiar also hits hard and is hard to freeze because of her blessing

An earth blocker is a really good one to have, especially ohs with the blessing to protect from stealing. Definitely worth the investment

Yeah, and I'm still not entirely sure what the significance of the volcano actually was, because it still shows up smoky on the Omen Islands map image and the only thing that really happened was that Merana got set free. We still don't have an explanation for the same kind of temple being on both the Islands and in the Sacred Lands, so I'd like to see that explored more in a future plot.

That's what I'll probably be saving for next, since OHS isn't super expensive. :)

@ laurey Yeah, the ending did feel strange. It's like, "oh no, Merana is now freaking loose on Subeta, what do?!", but the plot had to end cause I think staff were running out of time to wrap-up before the autumn/winter holidays kicked up. I think if the plot started earlier in the summer, we'd have had better resolution.

Wait...I just remembered, did the Skelly Manor plot finish up completely? I can't remember. .-.

Oh yeah that's right! The smoking volcano! I still imagine there's some kind of lava beast in there, and I hoped maybe we'd get a new redraw colour out of it (like magma pets or something).

No, I think we are supposed to be getting a Part 2 of the Morostide plot as well at some point (that was back in 2014 though already). I don't even remember much from that one except Jaxon and Ian being together and Jaxon is a ghost so they were trying to figure out a way to open the spirit portal thing so he can come back all the time instead of just during Morostide.

I'm not sure if the Shengui Guo stuff will have an effect on that or anything though, since it's tied to the spirit world anyway. Seems like some of the lore got a bit tangled up with itself.

Actually the lore's not too badly tangled if ya think about it. Not gonna lie, that'd be a cool way to tie in the Shengui Guo into the plot. Maybe someone there might know of a way to get Jaxon to stick around all the time instead of just Morostide.

Maybe we will get a continuation of the Skelly Manor plot this year then, now that Shengui Guo was found! :o -hype intensifying for eventual disappointment-

Yeah good point! It would be a cool way to meet some more characters from there as well, hopefully we get something from it if not this Morostide then soon. Because if they did it that way, then it wouldn't necessarily have to be during Morostide anyway, since the whole point is to have him come around all year.

I had to look Comet Flash because I thought I'd never heard of that weapon. Turns out it was on my wardrobe, so I took it out and sent it to my armory. Thanks for the suggestion in regards of this weapon, I just wrote it down to try next time

I would honestly love to see us get the continuation this year though, Morostide and Survival are probably my two favorite events on this site.

Speaking of Survival, I wonder if we're ever going to get anything with Ecks and Skitters again. I know they're supposed to be working together now, and we've had the VIP infection thing for the past few years. But I'm curious if anything could be done during that event again in terms of plots. Maybe not a civil war revolution thing like the last time, but some kind of story event since I feel like it's been a while since we've had one during that time of the year.
