And I don't think I'm going to get any more wins against Chase now, I can get him to about half health before he kills me. 3 wins is not bad though, and at least I can probably beat him in BQs now. :)

I used my Trident and Malhuili, as suggested, as well as my Aftershocks scroll for healing. Freezing is disabled against him, so don't bother with that. He can steal, so BoNA crystals could be helpful, although I actually didn't use any because I didn't feel like changing mods. And he actually didn't really steal all that much during those battles anyway. Maybe I got lucky. :P

Malhuili, huh? That's another one to add to the WL :o Still Tziety's stats are below Carbonite's so it'll be a bit before I could take on him unsure

Actually, I'm not sure the Malhuili is really worth buying. There was a bit of a discussion about that the other day (like yesterday I guess lol), it doesn't have a very good blessing and its defense can be matched or exceeded by other weapons such as Natasha and Unstable Sample Syringe for cheaper.

The only reason it sells for so much is because of the rarity, not many were released during the Omen Islands event. I only use mine because it's what I have, but once I get some better weapons I probably won't use it much.

Funny, was going to attempt a fight against Chase and wondered why I couldn't find him... turns out I haven't found him yet :P I got a Syringe today, so I'll try him whenever he appears on BQ with the Trident, thanks for the suggestions ^_^ Will have to crate a scroll set with no freezers too :o

I really need to do more with like ... specialized sets. I always just use my swashbuckle and cronus. Except now I have my manifesting weapon and swashbuckle. I just . .. go in and blindly smash things.

Oooh, really? Do you do Item Hunt every day? I'm sure eventually you'll get to a high level and quit because he'll ask for some old Cash Shop item that costs like 40 mil lol. :P

And good luck! I didn't get him in BQs today, but I thought I'd go ahead and try outside of BQs using 's suggestion and it worked! Now I think the only BQ opponents I can't beat (that I can think of right now anyway) are Crawbeast and Prodigy. And maybe some of the other Level 30 ones, but I can't remember what all of them are.

LOL I'm kind of the same, the only thing is I do try to remember which ones have no freezing so I don't waste a turn trying to freeze when it's useless. But otherwise, yeah my strategy is pretty similar for most opponents and I just hope it works. :P

Chase does a lot of wind damage so you definitely want a wind blocker. He also does earth, light and some other icons. I used trident or swash + OHS for him when Verdugo just managed to beat him. The energized mecha is also really good for him.

I try to (when I remember), best I've gotten is around level 70 before having to restart :P It's funny that I can beat that Crith beast but can't beat Prodigy or Malerias Familiar

Today I beat the Snow Fairy for the first time, though, so that's progress ^_^

Malhuili is good if your opponent deals less than 30-50 icons (depending on your tier) of ice and light because it leaves you open to block at least three icons (assuming you pair it with a godly). I think split defensive weapons like that are awesome if you want to maximize your icon coverage. For now though, you'll find the Syringe does a solid job because it is very similar.

And lol I knew I was forgetting something, yeah I remember now earth damage is one that was mentioned for Chase before. I don't really have any earth blockers though, so I made do with what I've got. I know has an OHS though, so that's a better suggestion. :)

Did you get an ME? I can't remember. But I was able to get 10 wins on Malerias Familiar with my ME and Trident, so if you have those it may be worth a shot!

nope :( Unfortunately I couldn't get the concoction this time around.... will have to wait for the next jelly war to get it. I'll take note of the ME alongside the Trident to use against the ebil pink kitty ^_^

Next time though, I'm sure you'll be strong enough! You should be able to beat her soon though hopefully, once you can get your stats up some more. You're not /that/ far behind my pet. :)

[edit]I thought I remembered someone suggesting OHS for the Familiar as well, so you could try that with your Trident just to see.

I don't think we need to worry about the amount of cores that went out, since a good portion of them will be turned into MEs anyways. And I don't think we'll have a war until 2019 since next year we should see a continuation of that Omen Islands plot (maybe we'll get to fight Merana and get a new Water godly lol), in theory at least.

I did check your pet out , and noticed that I'm not that far behind. My goal right now is to get 3000 in each stat, and start moving on from there. Thanks for the OHS suggestion for the pink kitty, will definitely try that too :D

Thanks! I'm at a bit of an impasse with the challengers right now, I only have Impossible ones left to go really (until I hopefully get the rest of the ones I need to unlock for Black Friday).

But at least I can beat most of the BQ challengers now, so that will help with getting more EXP per day. And more Impossible tokens so I can hopefully make my Mecha soon as well.
